I have walked by this place a couple of times, and though I have a busy day today I thought I would stop in just to ask if there was any kind of pamphlets with information. The person at the front desk was so wildly rude that I would never recommend this place to anyone. First, I was just standing at the door looking around and he told me bruskly to scan in. I told him I was new and then he just jumped in and said well I'll make time to give you a tour. I said I don't actually have time for that today, do you have any literature? Then he said no, and I don't have time for you. What business says I don't have time for you? I literally was considering changing gyms because of the 24 hours option. I can't meet the demands of your front desk representative on the spot therefore I'm not a good potential customer? I'm insulted when I walk in the door? QUALITY gym, sup clean, spacious and the equipment is well maintained. Very affordable rates with a schedule of hours that is available no matter what your schedule. I found the newish owner to be super helpful and willing to offer tips, pointers and moral positivity as I have had some bad injuries that have taken a toll on my athletic esteem. We had been trying to cancel a membership since December 2024 after moving. After a full day of emails with Deric (who was so unhelpful and unprofessional) yesterday they finally cancelled the account on their end - if this was an option the entire time why wasn't that completed in December AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. There was clearly an issue we could not solve through the "methods provided to us". This is rhetorical since they continued to collect dues from us through February forcing me to place a stop payment through our bank. We drove to the gym (TWICE!), we called, we emailed - showed the staff the in app error and received nothing but excuses. The phones were down, wifi was down, their system was down, the person who can help wasn't there, the list continues. Cancelling should not be this difficult. If the goal was to frustrate a previously happy member to the point of threating civil repercussions GOLD STAR. If you read other review responses, ownership clearly thinks they're flawless. Humble yourselves - this one missed the mark. read more

Let me start by saying, I belong to a different gym. However, unfortunately, my wife and son belong to this gym. Recently, they changed policy that they no longer take credit cards for monthly membership fees. So, while my wife & son are grandfathered in, to add my other children, I now have to link a bank account?! Two issues with this: 1.) In a world where everyone is moving away from linking bank accounts to not expose their finances, this gym is going back in time 15 years ago. 2.) Every other gym seems to be able to take credit card without having their fees go up due to this (yes, this was the shitty excuse they gave us). Good way to lose memberships and go out of business. When a company decides to go back to an unreliable way of doing business, that business tends to go out a business very quickly. I know we'll be looking for a new gym for my family of 6. I used to work out here a lot in the Beforetimes. Good machines, friendly staff, would have given them 4-5 stars easily. Then I received an email from the local owner regarding the new mask mandate claiming that wearing a mask while working out is "unreasonable and could be dangerous." When I attempted to address my concerns via their Facebook, they deleted my comments repeatedly before blocking me from commenting altogether. I will be taking my money elsewhere from this owner who clearly does not care about the health of their customers (or anyone they interact with), and refuses to be accountable when someone brings up a legitimate concern. Pre-COVID, I would have given this gym 5 stars. Good machines, friendly staff, large facility. As far as I know, none of these things have changed. But the owner felt it necessary to email members on Thursday letting us know he felt that "there are still issues whether the mask can reduce the spread" of COVID, and that in his opinion "if we are maintaining 6' of distance then It appears to us that the wearing of a mask while working out is unreasonable and could be dangerous." I can not recommend frequenting a business that so clearly does not believe in science and advertises to members that they are against public health mandates made by our governor. I have not been to the gym since COVID began, but had been happily continuing to pay my monthly membership fee to support them during these strange times. This email from the manager, and the attitudes it implies lie at the heart of this gym, led me to cancel my membership and write this review. Here's a honest review I moved here from Alaska by myself about a year ago and I've been coming here for a year. The cleanliness is amazing and for the price this is arguably the best gym in the whole area, it's a fun environment and the owners are really nice people. The equipment is really nice and it has just about everything you need for whatever training you would like to do. From bodybuilding to CrossFit you have everything you need. It's a little crammed when it's busy but the community itself makes that not an issue, you don't get the bad vibe that you can't ask if someone's using a machine or what not. I would definitely choose this gym over the huge chains like planet or LA fitness. If you're considering the big guys choose this place. read more

If you like to train hard by yourself, or be a bit more social, then either way you'll be happy here. It feels like everyone there is there to better themselves; making it a great environment to go hard in, but only if you're willing to put in that work. It can get a bit busy at times, but you should be able to make do, there's more than enough equipment to get a good workout in even at busy times. One thing I would say is, I wish there were more rogue racks, but with limited equipment space, the two racks are good enough! read more

Great gym for a great membership price! It's small but has all the equipment I need to get a great workout. Every time I'm there I see employees cleaning and other members wiping down equipment after use etc. Also equipment is spread out so there's plenty of space to keep your distance from other members if that's what you prefer (also a 24 hour gym so it's easy to go when there are fewer people around). Staff has all been super friendly and I love having a 24 hour gym option that feels more community oriented than some of the larger gyms I've worked out at in the past! read more

I love this gym. It is smaller and sometimes busy in the evenings but I have never had to wait on a machine or weights. I mostly lift weights and they have a great variety of dumbbells and barbell plates. (I do wish they would get an old school landmine) There are several stairs steppers, treadmills, and cycles too to get in the cardio. Their staff is very friendly. read more

This gym is awesome. Location fits right in for use before or after work, and for the family on weekends. I met the owner/manager, Melissa, and super accommodating to explain all that's available. Their trainer, Crystal, was very patient, and knowledgeable about routines and regimens that keep from over using or straining groups. And she did not push products or have nutritional biases...been to gyms that have a stake in promotions. Great equipment cared for, clean, and readily available. This gym feels like it'd belong right in the 70s with some brightly colored gym aesthetics and lots of free weights. The equipment is ample and there is a lot of room. The staff have a video on constant loop showing good and bad gym etiquette. This is a safe haven for aspiring lifters and transformations as well as for females. The staff is supportive and friendly, especially the GM Ryan who really makes this place a joy to go to. Open 24 hours and helping our vets too... I'd say the only negative is after hours people bring their kids and friends, but the staff and people that workout here are solid AF. Proud member for going on two years. read more

Starting at a new gym is sometimes very awkward and stressful. However, at workout anytime the transition from my previous gym to this one was easier then baking a cake. First off the staff are very knowledgeable and will always "recommend" a workout if you ask them for advise about a specific muscle you want to work on. Being a disabled veteran it is sometimes challenging to find other people to fully understand your pain or challenges that you might run into at the gym.. Not here!! They strongly support veterans and fully understand your disability can be challenging. They offer personal coaching at a very very responsible price to help you with any challenges you might face. When I go to workout anytime I was not greeted with the basic. " have a good workout" like what you might find at other gyms instead you build a relationship with the staff and they challenge you to do your best while working out and and give tips to improve. I am so glad that I am a member of this gym. Did I mention they also offer a water massage table and a tanning bed. They have everything you might need and then some! If your new to the gym ask to speak with Ryan... He will gladly walk you through any questions you might have. Alright, I have now been a member here for 6ish months: Pros: -The price is great. We pay $35 or so for two people including tanning and hydromassage -New-ish equipment - everything is in great shape and I've seen the manager clean and organize the equipment at the end of his shift (unlike LA fitness who is always super messy) -Friendly staff -Nice cardio machines -Local business -Vending machines -24/7 gym -friendly and pleasant customer base (everyone minds their own business and is there to work out) Cons: -If you're a woman keep in mind that the gym is next to a bar and there's a chance of cat calling -You can only tan during staffed business hours -Some major equipment for weightlifters is limited such as only one squat rack, one bench press -No stackable platforms for plyometric workouts -No good area that's a little separated for either HIIT workouts or Plyo workouts There's one open area but a lot of people deadlift there and it gets crowded Edit: the owner called me and addressed all of my concerns - especially the problems with cat calling and appears to truly care about his customer base. Looks like it'll get addressed with the bar owner! Update: The cat calling issue due to the bar next door appears to have been resolved. Both the gym and bar owner have taken action and addressed this concern from what it seems like. read more

I just got off the phone with a very polite PF Beaverton staff member who assured me over the phone that their $10.00 a month membership does not limit the member to what time of day, and what days of the week that they may use their membership. It is truly, NO BS 24/7. Yes for $10.00 your limited to that location, although at "that" location you are welcome to in fact work out with your $10.00 membership "24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Additionally I pay only $2.55 to join today and do not have to pay the remainder of their annual membership fee until June 2019, if I choose to stay with them. As their $10.00 a month membership this evening is a no-commitment membership. Specifically meaning I can cancel at anytime with no penalty fee. Which is yet another aspect of Planet Fitness Beaverton's $10.00 a month membership that exceeds that offered by "(Almost, kind of Sort of-) Workout Anytime" Beaverton's $10.00 a month membership. The "so-called" Beaverton Workout Anytime's $10.00 a month membership requires a 12 month commitment. So the take away from this review is; if you truly want a $10.00 a month membership to a 24hr gym, do not bother wasting your gas to come out to join at Beaverton's Workout Anytime location. As the $10.00 a month membership with "Workout Anytime" must be completed on site only, not available to sign up online. Which is another thing the PF Beaverton does better. I am signing up "online" as I am typing this review, for PF Beaverton for a $10.00 a month membership. Another take away is that "Workout Anytime" does not follow the mantra: "Say what you mean and mean what you say" Waste of my gas driving out there, and a waste of my time. read more

The staff here is fantastic and always helpful. The machines are up to date and the equipment are in working order. They have different membership options which is nice, they support the troops and are apart of the silversneakers and silver&fit networks. The owners are very involved with the community hosting food drives and blood drives. So far my experience as a member of the gym has been a positive one. The staff is very welcoming and the vibe is great. I like having a gym available and close to home. This gym is the absolute best. I couldn't commit to a contract because I'm only in the US for a few months but the incredibly helpful staff was able to work out a deal so that I could spend a couple months working out at this facility. It doesn't get too busy and there's plenty of equipment available, all in really good condition. I really wish I could continue working out here and feel like most other gyms pale in comparison... I joined Workout Anytime after touring many of the gyms in the area. Initially, I didn't have the best impression. However, the staff has been very helpful. Their prices are quite simply the very cheapest I've seen in Beaverton, and you get a lot of cool things for what you pay for. Initially, I had a problem with this place because some of the gym equipment did not accommodate my height and the length of my limbs. However, today I noticed a way they could be adjusted to do so, but such an adjustment would require tools. Not a simple adjustment everyone has access too. The gym attendant, Kelly, was all too happy to whip out her tools and make the adjustments for me. I got the premium membership for $25 a month, plus some bullsh1t initiation fee, and eventually I will have to pay some kind of yearly-fee, but still better than the other gyms in the area. This premium membership is a great value. It allows me to use the tanning beds(which I do), the hydro massage, and also to bring a guest with me for free. I love that they have a towel service, nice lockers, and places to set things in the main gym area. I left my totally awesome water bottle that I just bought there today, but Kelly was happy to set it aside with my name on it until I get back to pick it up.
