The first floor has a café, lounge, clean locker rooms with saunas and plunge pools, and multiple indoor and outdoor pools, including an adults-only option and fun water slides. They also have lifeguards on duty, which gives extra peace of mind for families. The second floor offers plenty of included classes, indoor basketball and pickleball courts, and a great Kids Club that keeps children active with real activities instead of screens. The third floor has top-notch weight and cardio equipment, guided workout tech, and recovery tools like hydromassage and compression therapy. There's plenty of space and equipment for serious lifting too. One of the best perks is the Kids Club and their programs. The teachers are caring and certified, and the activities are great. It's so convenient to drop the kids off for complimentary classes while adults work out. They even have Parent Night on weekends where you can drop the kids off for a few hours. It's an amazing perk if you have little ones. The swim program is another highlight. My kids love it and stay motivated when they see older kids dive. They really want to keep learning so they can do that too. The swimming instructors are caring, certified, and the coaching gets better as kids move up. There are always lifeguards on duty, which makes it feel extra safe. The family locker rooms are very convenient and always clean. Honestly there is a lot to like about lifetime. I bring my family of 5 here every weekend. But it's expensive. The reason for the one star review is that I feel they have really started to nickel and dime the members and become a bit cheap. For example, at the Cafe they stopped offering free water with your meal, they make buy a water bottle or go to locker room water fountain. I'm continuously impressed with Lifetime fitness. For me, it's in the details. everything is always clean. The cold plunge is actually COLD. The yoga space is thoughtful and peaceful. The cafe offers actually healthy food (grass fed beef, all the smoothie add-ons, simple ingredient power-balls in the fridge) and veg ware (non plastic utensils). They are generous with inviting guests and make that process easy and no-pressure. They have nice activities for all ages- last night there was a fun karaoke party for the aurora folks (seniors) and they were really enjoying it! I've appreciated the thoughtfulness in operations since becoming a member, and my gratitude deepened last summer when I saw a sign by the outdoor hot tub informing people that there was an active bees nest living close by and to take caution... they weren't going to exterminate it, instead they respected the bees and informed the guests. I have never seen a conservation-minded policy like this in a big corporation. There's a thousand moving pieces in a place this big but you never really feel it. We joined this summer for a month while visiting family from out of town and wish we had one of these near our home! We practically lived here for the time we were in town! The place is clean and well maintained, the machines are all new and top of the line. For the adults, we loved playing pickleball and the open court play and tutorials (+being able to borrow paddles at the front desk!) The real showstopper for our family was the outdoor pool. We loved swimming outside and using the waterslide - we would often get bfast or lunch while enjoying the pool which was convenient and good but wish there was more selection. The kids got to take a few swim lessons indoors with Wesley who was wonderful - he inspired them to swim like little fishes and have tons of fun. The prices were reasonable for the value that we got out of the lessons. We also took advantage of the Kids Academy and childcare - the kids loved the classes however there were times we had signed them up for multiple back to back classes and they weren't taken to them while back there which was disappointing (since we were only there for a few weeks). Overall, if we lived in Beaverton full-time we would absolutely be long-term members. (I just wish there were tennis courts.) It is great to place for wellness and has amazing amenities that the whole family can enjoy! read more

A few minor areas of improvement: - Sound at full volume on the hydro massage headset is barely audible. - food by the pool is meh. - need some sort of popular blended cocktail like you find at most upscale pools, e.g., a Lava Flow. - maybe add a cold plunge for dunking rather than sitting - a guy was cleaning the pickle balls courts with a machine right in the middle of people playing. The reservations for classes are hard to make because the gym is VERY FULL. Most of time if you can't make it during the first a couple hours once it's open you're on waiting list as 12,14! The worst part is, even you got reservation, your spot got took by someone else if you are one minute late. And the instructor says" I can have you if you're willing to squeeze in". What the heck! Isn't the other person who took the spot supposed to be squeezed? Then why do I make reservations for?! Really bad experience. Not worth $269 monthly fees. read more

Stopped in today with my husband to get a quick tour and sign up as new full price paying members (we were told by Caroline that there is a wait list for seniors where Medicare pays part of the membership) but while we are over 60, that is not us. Imagine our surprise when Caroline told us that tours were by "appointment only" and there was no one at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon who could briefly show us the facilities. No where on the website does it say "tours by appointment only". And when I spoke with Caroline the previous day she made no mention of an appointment being needed. Or perhaps we were just too old Caroline? Maybe too many oldsters spoiling the vibe in swinging Beaverton Oregon. Who knew? Age discrimination anyone? read more

They are taking away the basketball court in this facility. It is regularly used by members, kids, and families. After talking with the GM, he told me that Lifetime values all members. It's disappointing that Lifetime is not taking its current members (60 of us who play basketball regularly) and the kids camp who uses the gym for recreational games into consideration and is just looking to sell new memberships to pickleball fanatics to cash in on the pickleball craze. There is already pickleball courts in the facility and they are taking the only basketball court we have to build more. I've updated my 5 star review to 1 star and will be cancelling my membership if this is not addressed. read more

I love this gym, and joining Life Time is one of the best things I have done for myself in years. I hope to continue coming here for as long as possible. Love the staff, love the classes, love the pool, love pickleball. Here's what I'd like to see Life Time smooth out for a better user experience: -Classes: Just about every class has a waitlist. I do not enjoy having to set a reminder on my phone to book something a week out -Pickleball: Same issue. Too popular and not enough courts. You'll need to be religious about setting alarms to get in. You need more courts. Period. And it should not come at the cost of the basketball court. Poor planning indeed. -Guests: The instructions for bringing guests are inaccurate and it causes issues every time. Usually takes about 15 minutes and multiple tries and clogs up the entry way -Food: I've eaten wonderful meals at Spectrum gyms, Equinox gyms, etc. Your food can be heathy and taste good. Life Time's food is very bad. You desperately need a new chef. Most people bring their own food as a result -Modesty: If you're a modest organization then why is everyone walking around in a THONG at a country club. You don't even allow people to be naked in the same sex locker room sauna. And in front of kids no less. It's super trashy -Employees: Get full usage of the gym, which is a nice feature. But some rules should exist, such as, paying members shouldn't be on waitlists due to employees being in classes. We should get first dibs I hope the management takes this into account and improves the experience for members. But I can assure you that if I continue to have trouble getting into classes and pickleball, I'll simply go somewhere else. read more

The club is amazing. I'm actually glad they are replacing basketball court as it is located right over men sauna and basketball ball pounding was always big negative when trying to relax in the sauna. As a long time lifetime member that relocated to Portland and call this my home gym now I'm saddened to hear that they are removing the basketball courts for more PICKLEBALL. As a 5 year member I will consider dropping my membership due to this. If this gyms GM truly believes you can have this big of a facility and not offer basketball he should go manage a hot dog stand instead. read more

The building and instructors are great but they have accepted waaaay too many members. They are now saying they will be using a waitlist, but they have already over enrolled. It's insane during free membership senior hours when the generation who holds 80% of the wealth in this country swoops in and takes over the jacuzzi and classes and locker room. When you're paying $500 for two kids and two adults, you want to be able to get a parking space and not have to park down the street. I hope Lifetime thinks about it and puts full price paying members first or I'm bringing my family back to Villa. read more

This place in Beaverton frustrates me. I'm a multistate membership holder which is more expensive than being a single location holder. I'm home to Las Vegas and that's a 5 star place. Beaverton is not and that's mostly or entirely due to the general manager Jarod Cogswell. Never met him but not a fan. After each workout, I'm used to simply walking over to the water massage chairs and using it for 15 min. In Beaverton, they require a code to use the chair, as if our membership, which is hundreds of dollars a month, isn't enough. Then, it's impossible to find anyone around with a code to let me use the chair. Meanwhile, none of the chairs are in use. It's crazy and frustrating and it's Jarod's dumb policy that disallows me as a high paying member to actively use my entire membership. Also, here they provide no deodorant, just hair spray and the disposable razors they supply are terrible, it's virtually impossible not to nick yourself while shaving. This place is overpriced to begin with and they don't even let you access everything you've paid for. Perhaps this place needs a new GM? The current one isn't running things well. read more
