Life Time has been an excellent experience so far. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which really makes this place stand out. Overall, it's a luxury gym that feels worth every penny. The first floor has a café, lounge, clean locker rooms with saunas and plunge pools, and multiple indoor and outdoor pools, including an adults-only option and fun water slides. They also have lifeguards on duty, which gives extra peace of mind for families. The second floor offers plenty of included classes, indoor basketball and pickleball courts, and a great Kids Club that keeps children active with real activities instead of screens. The third floor has top-notch weight and cardio equipment, guided workout tech, and recovery tools like hydromassage and compression therapy. There's plenty of space and equipment for serious lifting too. One of the best perks is the Kids Club and their programs. The teachers are caring and certified, and the activities are great. It's so convenient to drop the kids off for complimentary classes while adults work out. They even have Parent Night on weekends where you can drop the kids off for a few hours. It's an amazing perk if you have little ones. The swim program is another highlight. My kids love it and stay motivated when they see older kids dive. They really want to keep learning so they can do that too. The swimming instructors are caring, certified, and the coaching gets better as kids move up. There are always lifeguards on duty, which makes it feel extra safe. The family locker rooms are very convenient and always clean. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since it fills up quickly, but so far I've always been lucky enough to find a spot.

A big shout out to Chase for taking the time out of his busy day to take me on a last second spur of the moment tour. He was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and best of all, ZERO high-pressure sales tactics, which I truly appreciated. The club is extremely spacious, well laid out and absolutely stunning. I can't wait to go and do my first workout... with perhaps a refreshing dip in the pool after. ;)

I've only been a member for a week but I'm very impressed. The trainers are very very competent. The entire staff is extremely helpful. There are more than enough machines. The recovery area is excellent. I've gone every day since I joined and look forward going every time. Right now I'm sitting outside by the pool after water aerobics and I feel great.

    Poorly maintained equipment.

Please find a way to maintain the equipment. It's all new within 2 years and it is starting to fall apart. Nobody seems to care.

This gym is brand new and absolutely gorgeous. The amenities are exceptional. The staff is what separates this gym from any other I have attended. Hailey, Chase, Stephanie at FD, Maria, Christine in Alpha, Nicole, Lorena, Courtney in kids, Brody, Andrew in pb! The list goes on and on. Highly recommend

I'm extremely excited for them to open up their second studio in the East. This location is so easy to find, and parking is a breeze. Classes here are generally 45 minutes, and they're slowly integrating beginner and mobility workshops. They're such a great group of beautiful talented trainers who support you through out the entire class. It's like a group personal training session if you've never had the opportunity to experience a Reformer's Pilates class. The trainers really know their anatomy and teach you how to properly engage your muscles with proper form and technique. They're also so wonderful at taking feedback and really want what's best for you, so if you ever have any ideas on things you want to see in the studio, they're all ears. Every one of my friends who I've brought here have been hooked on the intensity, the tribe vibes, and technicality of the variety of classes they offer. They get to know you individually and your strengths & weaknesses to make sure that you're doing what's most optimal for your body, there's always variations that they provide if you have physical limitations. So it's super important to communicate that to your trainer so you can get the most out of your session. The facility itself is beautiful and always so clean, even with all the foot traffic this studio receives. I love that they have toiletries in the restroom for you to freshen up with after class. & the theragun is so therapeutic after the sweat sesh. If you're looking for some motivation and a great community to be surrounded by, I highly recommend checking this studio out.

I live in Vancouver, Washington and I drive all the way to this studio in the Beaverton/ Hillsboro area at least once a week. I love that the instructors have a variety of teaching modalities. And you can find one that works for you. As I work in healthcare and I'm really focused on hormone regulation, I have been enjoying classes that are not hit workouts. I also walk every day, do yoga, and lift weights separate from these classes, but really see Pilates as a place to lengthen and strengthen your muscles and relax. It's definitely not the hardest workout. I do but something about it keeps me coming back. My favorite instructors are Michael and Dahn. I like how they bring a lot of mindfulness and self-awareness to their classes and focus on body mind connection. Which is what I like about Pilates and also that they keep the entire class on the reformer. I'm not a fan of Matt Pilates or doing all the extra things off of the reformer so anyone that focuses on that is preferred for me. I also like that neither of them talks too much. I feel like I've been to some Pilates studios where you can't keep up with what they're saying and focus on your body at the same time. They have the perfect balance of explaining how to do something and where to feel it without being verbose. The only area of improvement to me is the music. I feel like every time I visit the playlist are very similar no matter who is teaching or there's no music and I feel like music can make a workout go by a lot faster if it has a good energy and BPM. But I probably don't like music that is traditionally Pilates style haha. I am ex is the best studio in the Portland Metro area and I hope they open one in Vancouver.

The owner of the business worked with me to see that I was able to get the instruction I needed (Michael is an excellent and patient instructor) to understand the intricacies and mechanics involved with the exercises. I have found Pilates to be VERY beneficial. The other instructors whose classes I've taken are also very attentive to helping and correcting my form when necessary. And Phong, the owner, is easy to work with; especially when you have scheduling problems. He has even made it easy for you to try Pilates out at a reduced rate. There is a scheduling app that is easy to use once you learn how (and don't forget your password). If you have ever wondered if Pilates is for you, this is a great place to find out!

Access to the sauna alone is worth the membership. They also have a free weight area and a basic universal gym. The bad: it's not very clean. I go to the same sauna each time because of the class I take and I noticed that the glass door was dirty with fingerprints all around the handle and when I came back the next night it was exactly the same, which means they are not cleaning the space every night. I don't feel confident that the equipment is being cleaned, so recommend that you clean the equipment you want to use before you use it, not just after. You have to buy their yoga mat and towel as part of your membership and I already had two at home, so that didn't make me happy but it is what it is. Personally, going every day is causing dermatitis flare-ups, which I'm hoping will acclimate over time and settle down, but overall the benefits outweigh the deficits. I joined for treating OA hip and back pain and to regain mobility and it works VERY well.

First, I was charged over $250 for what was supposed to be a "trial month," which felt extremely misleading. I canceled immediately after realizing how disappointing the experience was. The facility itself felt unsanitary and very poorly maintained. On top of that, the owner came across as extremely judgmental and unprofessional, which made the whole experience even worse. Also, calling this place a "gym" feels misleading. It's basically small sauna boxes where you try to exercise in extreme heat. Instead of feeling like a good workout, it felt uncomfortable and difficult to even breathe while trying to move. It's not motivating at all. The heat is so intense that it even fries your hair if you're not careful. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a real gym or a positive fitness environment.

She understands how important it is to have a strong core and the value of stretching for those of us that work and sit in an office all day. Having had 2 previous back surgeries, I fully appreciate how Pilates incorporates strength, balance, coordination, control, stretching and flexibility. Shelley is extremely knowledgeable about the musculoskeletal structure and how our body is connected and needs to function for optimal performance, that equates to pain relief and overall fitness. With a maximum of 4 students per class you receive Shelley's expertise and it is a bargain for her 1-on-1 personal training in a friendly, non-judgemental and supportive environment. Shelley has invested in top-if-the-line equipment that provides her students with the ultimate Pilates experience. Every class is different because she is constantly mixing things up by using the Pilates reformer and chair and incorporating different props like the barrel, circle, ball and foam rollers to increase the intensity of the workouts. Don't be fooled by thinking that Pilates is easy because you don't lift heavy weights. I'm definitely seeing definition in my core, legs and arms as a result of the resistance training you get by practicing Pilates. Balance is my biggest challenge because of the back surgeries I've had, and while I'll never be the most graceful person, my balance is improving as I gain strength, control and coordination with the movements I've learned.
