For context, I've been in and out of CrossFit for the past 12 years, and was searching not only at CF boxes, but any sort of gym community to stay active during my month long stay. This gym and community became my home away from home, and honestly wish I had such a community back home. Coaches: To begin Matt, Chrissy and Claire are incredible coaches that not only are extreme athletes themselves, but are also the most patient and friendly instructors that one could wish for in any gym. Programming: Matt does an amazing job with the programming of classes - mixing in weight lifting and high-intensity cardio with scaled options available for any level of athlete to feel their best and leave the gym, glad they came! Community: What stands out to me the most about this gym is the community. From my very first day, the entire community embraced me with open arms. A very special shout out to Kelly, Diana, Faye, Grant, Jon (I know I'm missing so many others!) who really foster all the positivity that I've come to expect in a gym community. In my last 12 years, I've been across more than a dozen gyms and have also coached part-time at many - I can truly say that CrossFit SW is something special. Conclusion: My only regret is that due to a last minute change in work, I had to leave unexpectedly without a proper goodbye, but I know I'll be back here whenever I can! Whether you are a seasoned athlete looking for a new home, or have been on the cusp of getting started again with fitness, I can guarantee you are in the best hands here.

I first moved to Oregon in 2015 and I stuck with a $20/month gym membership until March 2016 when I…read morejoined CrossFit SW Beaverton on a Groupon. I had been searching for a box and the reviews and Groupon made this place too good to pass up. During my first class, I felt the same warmth that I did at my first CF gym and fell in love with CrossFit all over again. Laura and Melissa welcomed me in with open arms and challenged me, encouraging me to grow. I actually moved across the country and back and I go out of my way to come to this box. Since re-joining I have PR'd my front squat and clean and now I'm signing up for my first ever competition! If you are looking for killer workouts and a supportive community, consider coming to Crossfit SW Beaverton!

Ok, this has got to be one of the coolest little fitness spots!!! It's like a reverse mullet…read more.. party in the front and business in the back.... they have Kombucha, Craft Beers and Cider on tap! Great small tapas menu of homemade hummus and cool take on tabouli with quinoa instread of bulgur wheat to compliment the gluten free beer and cider The owner is super fun, very personable and pushes you along without being militant. I have to say, not being a big cardio freak, the boot camp classes are just enough spinning mixed with calisthenics and resistance core training. If you dread fitness classes, THIS IS PERFECT!!! And a glass of wine or beer after a good sweat.... no brainer!

I love this spinning studio! The instructors are inclusive and friendly but also push you. I did…read morethe groupon but I kind of want to keep going. I have done Boot Camp twice with Paula, the owner/manager person. She's buff and pushes you. The first time after boot camp, I almost threw up (but didn't) and the next day my triceps cramped everytime I used the muscle at all, including rolling over in the morning. All good things, in my workout book. I've also done two classes with Kierstin on Sat mornings and that you stay on the bike the whole time. It's still a really intense workout though. I almost slash did cry yesterday from the intensity. You can make your bike as hard as you want. If you like top 40 pop you'll like the music (I do). Class lengths vary. Instructors vary. Parking is pretty adequate and there's smartwater for sale on site. People keep their clip shoes there in the open IKEA cubbies. My experience has been wholly positive and I really like the feel of the gym and the staff make a difference.
