I will revisit these meals in my dreams and wish I was a quick trip away from Savannah…read more I had read about this spot before our trip and knew we'd be close by one day. When we cruised past, I was convinced they were closed. We went ahead and parked and poked our heads in and were delighted they were open! We learned about the history of the truck and their new historical building location. We opted for the brisket (because its my fave) and the Cheerwine burnt ends (because Cheerwine and burnet ends? Need I say more?). We always do mac and cheese as a BBQ side and then we added the brussel sprouts due the high recommendation from the young lady at the counter. We hung out for a bit, and sipped our Cheerwine, and before we knew it, our buzzer was buzzing and the amazing smell was wafting towards us. We tore into all of it because everything smelled so good. After one bite of everything we couldn't pick a favorite. By the time the plate was licked clean, I knew it was brisket for me and the burnt ends for my wife. The mac and cheese was creamy while still retaining a nice crunch from the topping. The brussel sprouts were light (despite being fried) and a nice balance to the heavy meat and dairy. We were full and happy and grateful. When we said goodbye to the staff we mentioned we'd be back in the area later in the week. They said to come back and try to smashburger since it's made from ground brisket. So naturally we came back a few days later and tried it! My wife stuck to her burnt ends and I went with the burger. Again, 10/10 on everything. I am heartbroken to live so far from this delicious brisket. Do yourself a favor and treat your tastebuds to high quality BBQ when you are in town. Also, feel free to send me a to-go box full of brisket. haha

DAMN GOOD BBQ IN SAVANNAH!…read more The brisket is perfectly seasoned and melts in your mouth. You can't go wrong and won't go wrong. The pork ribs were tender with a hint of sweetness falling off the bone. The sides like the Mac and cheese topped with a Fritos crunch. Burnt end baked beans and Cole slaw were delicious as well! Mmmmmmm mmmmm yumm. Came all the way here just for this? I think so.

Always seen the Crispi food truck parked at Two Tides Brewing and it always smells amazing --…read morefinally decided to try it, and wow, not disappointed! You can order online for pickup while you're seated at Two Tides sipping their amazing sour beers, which is such a great setup. The patty was nice and crispy, flat, and well seasoned, and the Crispi sauce really makes the whole thing. That said, my patty melt had a few misses: the bun could've been toasted more, there was way too much sauce (it was practically drowning in it), and my patty didn't even cover the bun. The onions also needed to be caramelized more. The potato stix on top gave it a nice crunch though, and overall I still enjoyed it. They offer a gluten free bun for +$2, which was a nice option -- quality, soft bun, and both my husband and I got our burgers on it. His double patty was even better than mine, with tons of meat. We were both stuffed by the end. Overall a solid stop if you're at Two Tides -- would go back and probably ask for less sauce next time.

I had high hopes for this place as I've heard great things but the line is always long when I'm in the area or I've already eaten elsewhere so I hadn't gotten to try it until now. They were definitely busy and my order went from 10-15 min to more like 30 minutes to prepare. I got the Crispi Patty Melt with the veggie patty and it just didn't slap like I hoped. The flavor was kind of bland and it was mostly just drenched in sauce. Knowing how much others like it, and as much time as I spend in the area, I will probably try it again in the future but order something else on the menu.
