My kids and wife bought themselves a cone ice cream. However, I had to be different and buy myself a sundae. I was really impressed because it look like the way they would them back in my parents 1950s time frame. They have hot fudge and carmel, so I asked for both. The restroom was very clean too. We rolled in there at 8:45pm with 6 people. With a smile the staff greeted us and took the time to offer samples and descriptions. The owner came out and chatted with us until 9:30. I have to give a shout out to The Ice Cream Shop! I went here yesterday and got the banana pudding ice cream and it was amazzinngggg! I love the soft creamy buttery texture of their ice cream. It just melts in your mouth and it tasted like I was eating my nanas banana pudding! I could taste the vanilla wafers even though they weren't visible. All the flavors of banana pudding were there and it was yummy and refreshing. The other reason I wanted to give a shout out was because of the sweetest staff there. I like the fact it's in Pooler so I don't have to drive all the way downtown to get some good ice cream. There are many flavors to choose from but my favorite is the Sea Turtle, it's delicious. You can sample any ice cream you want before getting a full scope. In addition to waffle cones, they have other types of cone available such as cookie cone, pretzel cone and chocolate cone. They also sell ice cream sandwiches, coffee, gelato and smoothies. There is a kids play room so if you have kids, this is the place to go. I will return to try other flavors.
