So this place used to make ice creams by hand and it was always delicious. Came back into town and this was on our list of things to do. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe the experience. They don't make the ice cream by hand anymore so it's all name brand just scoop and serve. The ice cream isn't being kept at a good temperature because as soon as it's scooped, it's immediately melting. I had to get a bowl because the ice cream was melting so quickly it was falling off the cone in chunks. That was my first warning something was off. The first bite and I knew something was seriously wrong. It was super grainy and the flavor was nothing like it should have been. Went inside and talked to the employee about it and they said that they just changed out that tub of ice cream, so not sure where or how but something was seriously wrong with that batch. Luckily they let us exchange it for a different flavor. Overall disappointing experience, mainly because I was expecting it to be like it was when it first opened. If I had known it was just name brand scoop and serve, we'd have saved the gas and went somewhere a lot closer. I never had issues before it changed. read more

The lactose free ice cream tasted like crumbled ice with oreos... we asked what the difference was before purchasing and they did not mention how it was actually made. "Its a bit different and the taste is stronger". Once "ice cream" was given I took it back because it was not as described and the employee even said he miscommunicated the way he described it prior to purchasing. Said "we actually use vanilla flavored --instead of lactose free cream and cookie crumbles instead of oreos". As a first time customer I had a bad experience. Ice cream decent. Bathroom dirty. Went there and a teenage boy behind counter. Who was rude and stated he didn't know how it worked because he didn't work there. Stated they let him behind the counter. Took forever for teenage staff to acknowledge me. Teenage staff took forever to serve me. Other rude teens who were not staff but behind counter started acting inappropriately and wrote on a sticky note on their front door "for a good time call ... (with a phone number)" may not go back due to lack of cleanliness and professionalism. Too much money for such poor service. read more

It's a novel idea and fun to watch the process of adding liquid nitrogen to 12oz of cream to create a fantasy dessert. The drawbacks are: only 1 size and it starts at $8.50. Look, I love ice cream but I don't think I can recall ever eating the serving size I was given in one sitting. If I was with company, splitting it would have been fine. Also, they wouldn't supply me with an additional styrofoam container to transport 1/2 of it back home. They said the $.02 styrofoam containers get inventoried. So, I had to eat as much as I could and shove a top on my container. I eventually realized that my container had split under the pressure of applying the top and since I wasn't allowed another one, I had to chunk the remainder of my dessert in a trash can.
