Inside Dubai chocolate! Texture is like a crunch bar.

Store caught my attention with candied apples in their window and ice cream on their sign! Fun to walk through to see the many options of candy, sweets, ice cream, popcorn. They are known for their pecans praline and bear claws! Got one of each. Dubai chocolate was very tasty too. Felt like I was a child again.

This place has some of my favorite chocolate pralines of all, with eclectic interior decor and great service to boot! An extra plus is that you can see the chocolates and other sweet treats being made in different parts of the shop.

River Street Sweets located Riverfront Savannah, GA Food: You'll get a sugar rush just walking in, all kinds of chocolate covered snack, popcorn, fudge and of course the southern staple pralines. Service: Super Friendly customer service. Ambiance: Think Willy Wanker and his chocolate factory.

On the Riverfront Cobblestone Street in Historical Savannah Tony Vanoy and I was strolling around! Except for the Homeless Bugging you for handouts it was extremely nice! There was a nice breeze along the river and it was 93 degrees! We came out of the bar " The Warehouse" and immediately you are greeted by the century old store front of "RIVER STREET SWEETS" & I had to go in!! Tony waited outside enjoying the fact he could drink his draft beer outside and enjoy his cigarette! I looked at every nook and cranny of this store! I had a sample of the Pink Grapefruit Sorbet in the Ice Cream Parlor in back of store....it was killer but I limited myself to one sample even though I had a hard time deciding! I ended up buying about 10 pieces of Salt Water Taffy various fruity flavors and 2 pieces of Sugar Free Homemade Chocolate! Pecan Turtle Patty and Coconut Stack! I have not eaten them yet going to wait until tomorrow...I had a smoothie earlier and some cookie samples! I'm on a diet....got to use some self-control! Definitely recommend and Definitely will venture back again...if at least for another sample of a different flavor of sorbet!

Wow! This is the sweet shop of all sweet tooth lovers dreams! It has everything you could need in more. We fell in love with their world famous pralines and went home with over a pound of them. We also had ice cream. I got the blue moon (fruit loop) in a waffle cone. It was a one of a kind experience. My friend had coconut gelato and loved hers. We loved watching things be made while there too. It was a super cool experience unlike any other. The store was colorful and filled from side to side with sweets galore. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience for sure!

Wow! The sweet smell fills the air as you walk by. It lured us to come right in and look around. Friendly and helpful staff. They offered us fresh samples of the pralines which were rich and sweet. They have an amazing selection of freshly made fudge and chocolates. I also appreciate the variety of white chocolate choices they feature. It is very decadent. They also have a lot of classic and bulk choices as well as ice cream. It is a one stop sweet shop. We left with several pieces of fudge. They have a small deal the more you buy. I would highly recommend this place is you have a sweet tooth.

We liked this place. Another post I needed to let my hubs author because he's enjoying this trip too! "To be honest, we weren't completely sure what pralines are. So, for purely educational purposes, we went into River Street Sweets. The people who worked there were kind, and the place had sweets made in house, popcorn, ice cream, and lots more. So many tasty things, and we paid about $16 for 0.75 lbs of praline and a bag of specialty popcorn. It was all so tasty that my next check in will be with my dentist if I keep going here. Suuuuugaaaaaarrrrrrr."

Nice place to go by the river. You can go in and take pictures. There's a bunch of sweets, ice cream, and popcorn! It's a nice place experience! You don't even have to buy anything, you can just go in, take pictures, and even try out some ice cream or gelato. Their pralines are my favorite and when I went, they were having a sale! The workers were fast too.

River street sweets is full of delicacies. Love the pralines. Had to buy some after them handing me a sample as I walked in! They have ice cream here too. I was also given a sample of caramel corn. Everyone is friendly. A fun stop!! Watch them make the pralines, popcorns, taffy, etc!

The bon bons are so reasonably priced! My boyfriend and I were having a day date in downtown savannah. We randomly walk in and get the best bon bons. They were super cheap and super yummy. The people were very nice. They served us quickly even though they were busy.

    All these treats!

This is my favorite stop every time we visit Savannah. River Street Sweets has so much candy to pick from!! They also have ice cream that is so rich and creamy, unfortunately they didn't have any praline ice cream so I passed on the ice cream this time. Everything is delicious and fresh.

Of course I had to get some pralines in Savannah. They are always so yummy. I was shocked how much they were - they had a deal for a pound of pralines and get half free but I still paid $30, also not sure if what I got was truly a pound and half (seemed a little light for that) but still so yummy.

The pralines here will have you wanting to bring a blow-up bed and set up shop in the back. They were soooo amazing and the service was exceptional.

How many pralines in a pound? I don't know why I can't remember as I've ordered them many times? Thanks. I also want them to be made fresh as they are for a party.,How far in advance should I order?

The store is neatly organized although I believe there's over a million pieces of delightful candies here :) We ordered a few candies from the barrel and a pound of original pecan Praline. I had enough to share with my family now :) The lady behind the register was really nice to my granddaughter and myself. And suddenly I am refinancing my future and walking out with a bag so heavy it should have come with a luggage tag. Let's talk about the damage. Freshly made pralines are unreal. I may have blacked out while purchasing them, but I regret nothing. Everything here is made with love, care, and a clear intention to go straight to your waistline. But it is fine. My wife assures me there are no calories outside of our home zip code, and since we are in Savannah, we will just walk it off. River Street counts as exercise anyway, right? The staff is friendly, the candy is absurdly good, and the smell alone should be classified as a tourist trap. If you find yourself in Savannah, absolutely stop in, but beware the free samples.
