We have loved coming here for the past few years while in town visiting our daughter. Sadly the last few times the customer service has been pretty bad. No customer should be greeted with a "what's up" in a snarky rude way. Hopefully this isn't the new standard for Doki Doki

Really yummy, creamy ice cream found here. They also have soft serve, vegan and pre packed pints. They have a small dining patio outside and several benches lining the wall inside. I really enjoyed the Blueberry White chocolate as it was rich and packed full of summer blueberry flavor. I will return!

If you know Savannah you probably know Leopold's Ice Cream. Long lines, great service, great ice cream. This new place is in a different part of town but might be worth the walk. Gelato AND ice cream. Nice selection of flavors in a small and clean space. Definitely worth a try. Possibly a new favorite if you do.

Phenomenal ice cream. Went over with our coworkers after lunch and I was amazed at how fresh the ice cream tasted. Would definitely return!

This ice cream place promises fresh desserts made on site. As one might guess from the name, the flavors tend towards Asian, and I sampled a strawberry matcha, which was fine, and a miso caramel brownie, which remarkably managed to balance all three of those flavors perfectly in one scoop of ice cream. I was a little bit irritated that an option was not available to try more flavors in smaller amounts as there were quite a few that looked worthwhile. Their spoons are pretty tough, which is nice. As wasteful as plastic spoons are, it's even more of a waste when they break. Certainly, the flavor here is of enough quality to merit a try.

I came here on a Saturday night after dinner, and so glad that I did. After trying a couple of their ice cream flavors I landed on the Rosemary lemon sorbet. It was really good, and refreshing. It did melt really fast, but that's okay because I ate it pretty fast. The interior is bright and retro - perfect for an ice cream shop. It was about $4 for a single scoop, and parking is on the street.

What a fun and quirky ice cream spot!! With Leopold's and Savannah Candy Kitchen, there is no shortage of ice cream in town. What we were missing was good Gelato and new, fun flavors. I came in with a few friends on a week night in the fall. There was only a very short line, thankfully for us because we had to sample all of the flavors before deciding! The staff was very patient and offered recommendations. I ordered a scoop for there and a scoop to go. They held my to-go scoop in the freezer until we were ready to leave. Bonus points for offering mochi, including vegan mochi options! Will definitely recommend and return.

Doki Doki is a fun ice creamery in Savannah. When you walk in you can not help but feel a sense of joy. It is located on Bull Street. They are next door to Collins Quarter. The closest parking would be on the street. But there are parking garages in the area. The inside of the ice creamery is full of bright colors that pull you in. You will see one long counter when you walk in. The colors inside are magenta, teal, yellow, orange, and white. There are large menus on the walls to make it easy for customers to read. There are a few magenta benches to sit on inside. They are not particularly comfortable unfortunately. I think they were meant more for the look then for customers to sit on for a little while. They also have a few tables and chairs outside. They offer soft serve, ice cream, and gelato. All of this is made in house. I enjoyed seeing more unique flavors in the case. They of course have all of the classics. But when I saw for example yuzu curd, black sesame, and chipotle brownie that made me happy. I always like to try new flavors. There were many other flavors that were fun too. Because they have ice cream and gelato. They have options for anyone with allergies. There was a sorbet in the case. Many ice creams and gelatos without nuts. If you have diary, gluten, nut, or other allergies ask they should be able to accommodate you. But check their website or call for confirmation of something specific. The service was ok. We were not greeted when we entered. When we went we were the only ones in line. The person who helped us answered our questions and told us we could taste whatever we liked. Go try ice cream, gelato, or soft serve at Doki Doki!

Awesome gelato made on site. Nestled in the Savannah historic district. So good we made a special trip two evenings in a row.

Thankfully, I was able to visit right as they opened around 11:15AM, so the line was not nearly as long as I have seen it previously. There are many nostalgic ice cream flavors offered here that other shops don't sell, such as the peppermint and tutti fruit flavors. However, we ended up getting the seasonal Girl Scouts thin mint flavor and chocolate flavors, which were both excellent. We opted for 2 scoop waffle cones, but I would say that they are very generous with scoop sizes, so in the future I may stick with 1 scoop. I was also impressed with the variety of treats, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to milkshakes to floats. The only really complaint I have is that the shop is small (which explains the constant line out the door) and there is a room for seating, but there are only about 6-8 tables capable of seating only 2-3 people each. So, I would not recommend visiting if you are in a large group -- you would basically have to take your ice cream to go.

However, there really is not a reason the process could not be made just a little more efficient. While waiting in line it would be helpful to easily see what flavors are available. From the way the coolers are situated you can't. So ultimately it becomes a bottle neck with people trying to decipher the flavors and going through the sampling process. And to pay, you end up summoned into the next room. Also not obvious. Higher efficiency will improve the customer satisfaction and your overall sales!!
