Wow. This place is expensive. Their small is what I would call a kiddie cup and it's $7.00. I got a large in a cup and asked for a sugar cone on top and the cone was an extra charge.

We walked here after eating lunch and honestly I was shocked that they had a Ben & Jerry's in Savannah. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly greeted and given a sample of our choice. I only needed one sample to know what I wanted and I was very pleased! The store was clean which allowed me a chance to sit down and enjoy my ice cream and I appreciated that. I would definitely come back here whenever I get that sweet tooth for ice cream.

Ben & Jerry's is in the list of my top two creameries. I normally buy it at a grocery store, but sometimes visit their retail stores, such as this visit. My daughter and I enjoyed a Daddy-Daughter dinner out and decided we needed to find some good ice cream. The standard desserts on the menu just weren't going to cut it at the dinner restaurant. We headed out to Ben & Jerry's for some premium ice cream. This is in a great location downtown Savannah on Broughton street, in the middle of the shopping and restaurants. We tried two new flavors on this visit (at least new for us): - Salted Caramel Blondie: sweet cream base with chunks of blondie brownie and swirls of caramel - Sticky Toffee Cookie: Brown sugar ice cream base with brown sugar cookie chunks and a toffee caramel swirl. Both were really good, and recommended. However my top 3 all time favorite flavors remain: - Chunky Monkey - Cherry Garcia - Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz My wife and I visited their creamery in Vermont ages ago (1999). Their company's secret is their technology and methods for incorporating large chunks of delicious add-ins to their ice cream. They aggressively protect it and didn't even let us take pictures on our creamery tour. Ben & Jerry were huge philanthropists and took good care of their farmers that sourced their cream. Ben & Jerry actually sold their business ages ago and I hope the company carries on these traditions.

Man, this Ben & Jerry's was a let down. The pro is that I was the only person in line so I was waited on immediately, but maybe I should have taken that as a sign to stay away, but I gave it a go. I ordered a milkshake and unfortunately there was no shake and all milk. It was super runny and really was like a glass of milk with some stuff inside of it. Almost as if it had sat out for a long period of time which I knew it hadn't as it was made fresh. At around six dollars it was really a let down to get something like that and be so unappealing. Definitely a one and done situation from me. Maybe if you like your shakes to be super runny, this is your place, but for me I need a least a little tug when you are trying to drink a milkshake. This was a big disappointment for me.

This is a single scoop serving waffle cone which was soggy.

Always the best ice cream. The place looks a little rough inside - but the staff were really great.

She did Friday night heavy appetizers and hors d'oeuvres and on Saturday- a full dinner. Everyone raved about the food. I would especially highlight her roast beef which was out of this world... (Still thinking about it!)!Really, everything was great but those were the highlights! Many of my family members who live in Savannah plan to use her for future catering. She was very communicative and responsive easy to plan with and delivered on time! I can't say enough good things.

I being from Savannah had not heard of this caterer. Her website was wonderful and the reviews were great. But still it was like taking a shot in the dark but boy let me tell you I hit the Bulls Eye when I hired Miss Shannon and her crew to do a Friday night low country boil for a bunch of out of town guest. I wanted them to have a taste of the low country while visiting Savannah. I also just wanted to enjoy my guest and not have to worry about a thing. Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

The…read morerestaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, although our food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. I ordered the Lowcountry Boil, which comes with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The sausage and potatoes were good, and the seasoning was decent, but I was underwhelmed overall, especially considering the price. The shrimp didn't seem particularly fresh and had some white spots and discoloration that gave me the impression they may have been frozen for quite a while. As a result, the dish didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My wife ordered the Wassaw Redfish, which was recommended by our server, and that ended up being the standout dish of the meal. The redfish was cooked well, the garlic beurre blanc sauce was rich without being overwhelming, and the grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp and green beans complemented the dish nicely. Overall, the experience was mixed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and my wife's entrée was very good, but the Lowcountry Boil fell short of expectations. I'd consider coming back to try some of their other menu items, but based on this visit, I wouldn't order the boil again.
