There's nothing like a fresh maple bar and nobody has the readily available but Bakers Pride. I stay on the southside now and the only place to ever have the ones I like is the Publix near Wilmington Island. The staff here are great as always and they efficiently and effectively move the line with grace. Get here early or you'll feel like you arrived too late. Sn: even though it's dated it's always clean and smells of pastries. You can eat your donut and sip your beverage inside and they also have a microwave for customers to use as well. It's definitely a "Everybody knows your name" type of energy.

Simply awesome! A wonderful, hometown bakery with lots of selections, coupled with friendly smiles. I got the pumpkin fritter and, OMG, it was sooo fresh and flavorful. The bakery will definitely be a mainstay on my visit to Savannah.

This is my favorite bakery in Savannah. There are no many options for sweet treats, and well as some mini quiches. The weekends get a little busy, so plan ahead to go early. If you're waiting in line, it is so worth it. There are some seating options inside, but customers normally take their orders to go. If you haven't tried bakers pride and you're in the area, you doing it wrong!

I wish this place was next to my place back home, seriously I could go here every single day! Stopped by while on vacation and grabbed some sweets, and it reminded me of some Italian bakeries I'd been to in the north east. A good selection of pastries, sweets and cookies. The donut and blueberry fritter were fantastic, donut was airy but cakey and had a perfect amount of icing on the top. Servers were extremely polite and got us through quick!

Best old school bakery in Savannah. The only bakery worth the drive and extra love handles.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. They explained that normally they would've sold out of a lot more, but the race kept them a little bit more stocked than normal. We were so lucky! I posted a picture of what I purchased, but I personally ate the glazed donut, the donut with chocolate frosting, And the donut with cake frosting on top. They were all exceptional! My husband devoured his cream, cheese, danish, and the danish with apple on top. Although there is seating inside, we took ours to go. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Casual atmosphere.

After work, I had a sweet tooth and Baker's Pride came to the rescue. Thankfully, they're open until 6 PM! The shop has four large display cases filled with goodies, including cheesecake, brownies, cookies, donuts, and a variety of pastries. I decided to get a large cannoli, they offer two sizes. I also picked up a sugar cookie for each of my nephews, and they loved it!

Baker's Pride absolutely never ever disappoints for me. I have been addicted since my first bite. I have tried so many items and they never fail me. They are definitely amazing when it comes to quality items, taste and there variety. They also serve hot and iced coffee now which is also really good. Service is also amazing!

One of the best donuts I've ever had! I was visiting Savannah and decided to stop in for a quick sweet treat. Everything looked delicious, but I only got the vanilla frosted donut. Simply amazing! I wish I had tried some of their other pasties, but I will have to do so when I'm in the area again. The staff there all seemed friendly too.

I go here everytime I visit Savannah GA. Last time I visited I forgot to take pics and do a review. My sister visited with my mom on the weekend of ¹1/16/2024. I usually ask her to get me a order when she visits and I cash app her. This time she surprised me and bought me some large chocolate chewies! They have small chewies also. I grew up eating the small ones at their sister bakery. Here they take it over the top! I can't describe how delicious these cookies are you will have to definitely try them for yourself. If I had some money money I would have to have a location of this bakery in my area!

We were visiting Savannah for my Mom's birthday and after looking on yelp i decided to order my mom cupcakes in the shape of her age. They were ready on time and were beautiful, but the cupcakes were dried out, old, the icing wasn't great and it was certainly pricey for what we got. Maybe if I had ordered a cake with icing/filling flavors more to our liking it would have been better, but based on what we got I wouldn't go back.

Wow! Visiting from out of state and needed something for breakfast for a group. Looked up bakeries and took an Uber to in unassuming strip mall and lucked out on this gem! Locals know about this place. It's THE place for bakery items. The place you go to get the stuff for the office and you get a donut for yourself to eat on the way back to the office. Staffed to get you in and out quick. And the ladies were sure nice and patient with us first timers, too!

These donuts were 10/10. Fresh, lots of variety, friendly staff, cheap. It was an overall great experience. We will come back if we are ever in the area again!!

Initially, I was really impressed; I am unabashedly a complete donut snob and I was excited that Savannah had a new donut spot with a fun theme. On my first visit, I felt that the attention to detail was apparent in every aspect and that it was obvious that the owners worked really hard to create a fun, causal environment where you can enjoy a game or two and a tasty treat. The initial donut selection didn't knock my off my feet but I had respect for the attempt to try new things ( like using brioche dough rather than traditional yeast dough.) I thought that the frogger and pac man themed donuts were a cool way to stick with the theming ( since the seating area has multiple arcade games) but after several trips - the quality started lacking. The cake donuts tasted like old grease and the brioche skunk lines (a baking term to denote that the donuts have been fried properly) were indistinguishable. The service went down hill and there were many times when I came in around opening to pick up a specific kind of donut only to learn that the baker " didn't feel like making " that day. Despite all this, I'm rooting for the place. It's awesome idea and with a little work, I think it could be really successful.

Thankfully, I was able to visit right as they opened around 11:15AM, so the line was not nearly as long as I have seen it previously. There are many nostalgic ice cream flavors offered here that other shops don't sell, such as the peppermint and tutti fruit flavors. However, we ended up getting the seasonal Girl Scouts thin mint flavor and chocolate flavors, which were both excellent. We opted for 2 scoop waffle cones, but I would say that they are very generous with scoop sizes, so in the future I may stick with 1 scoop. I was also impressed with the variety of treats, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to milkshakes to floats. The only really complaint I have is that the shop is small (which explains the constant line out the door) and there is a room for seating, but there are only about 6-8 tables capable of seating only 2-3 people each. So, I would not recommend visiting if you are in a large group -- you would basically have to take your ice cream to go.

First, the donuts are fresh and properly made: Skunk lines are present on all yeast donuts ( which is an industry term that refers to the light line on the side of a yeast donut which means that the dough has been processed properly. ) The icing is level and without cross hatches - meaning a real person is icing them - not a machine ( aka Krispy Kreme) The oil used is fresh and at the right temperature. I've never tasted anything that had a lingering rancid flavor ( old oil ) or been left with a greasy residue on my hands ( meaning the donuts are cooked at the right temp) The texture is perfect - never dry ( overcooked ) or gummy (undercooked ) The customer service is unsurpassed. Jennifer and Lou are so kind- they held half a dozen donuts for me the day before valentines day when I needed a last minute treat for a family celebration, and I had dental surgery and I could only eat soft foods, Lou took extra care in packaging the donuts so that it would be easier for me to access when I was groggy from my pain pills.
