You know the experience is going to be amazing when you walk in and smell the goodness, before you see the goodness. The case is full of cookies, all kinds of flavors and decorative ones too. I've loved Two Smart Cookies for years! Every cookie I've eaten from their bakery I've enjoyed. They have many different kinds, from classic chocolate chip to their signature "Two Smart cookie". And yes their namesake is delicious & low fat too! They are located off of white bluff, on hood street. Basically when you see Baldinos get ready to turn right. Their building is hard to miss. It's a large two story house with a decent sized parking lot. Once you enter you get that wafting cookie smell, that is everything! I love the smell of bakeries. All of their cookies are beautifully displayed in a glass case or large glass jars. They also have drinks too if you need something to quench your thirst after sugar. And yes, there is a restroom to the left of the register next to a small table for children to eat at. I'm a huge fan of their sugar cookie with icing & the two smart cookie. Those two are my faves. The sugar cookies come in different sizes & are decorated differently. It depends on the cookie cutter that was used. They have a gluten free option. And one gluten/diary free option, the macaroon. It's yum too! The staff consists of mainly women. I do love female power! All of the ladies are friendly & can help you with what you need. You can pick up one cookie and go, or a few dozen! It's up to you. They also do custom orders. I recently ordered dog paw prints in blue with little candy sugar paw pads for a party! They were adorable. And I paid a little extra to have them individually wrapped and tied with ribbon. They were a fantastic favor family took home with them. read more

I'm torn with what to write because the old Two Smart was my favorite cookie in this country but then the new owners took over and changed the recipe - maybe not what's in the cookie but certainly how long the cookies need to cool before they are iced and certainly not the Mom & Pop pride the previous Owners had- these Owners whether on site or not do not have friendly people working for them- I'd go so far as to say rude actually both in person and over the phone. IS there business crushing it so much they can be rude? Their website says they take pride in their hand crafted cookies- but do they? I recommend some Customer Service School for the whole gang and not to have to wait 24/48 hours for cookies to bake, cool, frost before shipping. The old Two Smart cookies would stay fresh for days- not this version. You are welcome for the constructive criticism- hopefully it will have an impact and your customers will be better served. read more

They have 100's of cookie cutter shapes, various sizes to choose from, and box them or have them individually wrapped for an additional charge. Price varies on frosted cookies, $1.50 - $5.00, depending on size and decoration. They will custom decorate cookies with business logo, too! This unique local shop now known far and wide has some knick knacks to buy, but you're there for the cookies. The colorfully-iced shortbread come in various shapes & sizes & are quite thick without being over- or under-cooked. They have a slight almond flavor for a special taste if you like almond. The big soft ginger cookie isn't to be missed. They have fresh chocolate chip, peanut butter & an "everything-cookie" too. The big luscious brownie was also a hit. Someone said the original "two smart cookies" who founded it have sold it, but we noticed no changes so far. read more

I should start by saying, I am a Cookie Monster. It's my biggest weakness in life and I would be fine only eating cookies for breakfast everyday... who am I kidding? That's exactly what I do. I have been so excited to try two smart cookies because of the rave reviews. I wanted to like them so bad. I got 6 different ones- the chocolate meringue style, chocolate chip, chocolate chip toffee, monster, vegan chocolate chip, and an iced sugar cookie. They were all a dry crumbly mess. Over baked. Usually my family fights over the cookies and after a few days the box is still sitting there with one bite taken out of each and left. Even my toddlers didn't want anything to do with them. Crazy enough, the vegan one was the best because it didn't crumble to a million pieces when you bite into it... Maybe I went on an off day? Not worth it for me to try again, that's for sure. I have never in my life thrown cookies in the trash but I guess there's a first for everything... read more

This is the BEST bakery I have ever ordered from. I had to order over 100 cookies for my office employees, and I am currently a few hours away from Savannah. Their customer service was so helpful and I was able to order 25 packs of 4 cookies (including a custom frosted cookie) in just a few minutes, and they had them baked, bagged, shipped, and delivered within 3 days. They arrived in perfect condition and taste great. I was worried they would be crushed or dry, but aside from a few lose crumbs, these are some of the best cookies I've ever had. I placed an on line order for delivery a week prior to wanting cookies delivered for my niece who lives in Savannah. Eight days later still no delivery. I specifically gave details as to order and emphasized the date. My niece is struggling through chemotherapy and it is her birthday. I wanted something special for her. Order has not arrived!!! I first tried Two Smart Cookies at one recent Yelp event. We passed by on a gloomy Saturday afternoon, and I knew everyone in the car would enjoy a cookie. I grabbed two oatmeal raisin cookies and a chocolate chocolate chip with pecans. The place smells delicious! I had to stay focused and be sure I went in, not my husband. First of all, I love the charm of this place. It has a very whimsical and eclectic feel. It felt like I was at a little boutique. And the cookies....OMG are so delicious! They tasted so fresh. I could taste the butter, not margarine, in each soft tender bite. I bought a half dozen for $7: Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Craisin, and Scotchie. I also purchased a pecan brownie for $1.50. Delish!!! So thick and chocolatey!!Everything was just so damn good! Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely hitting this spot up! read more

Look, my cousin swears by these cookies! She said she comes once a week to load up on their treats. Her words were specifically "they must put drugs in them". Well.... These are some pretty darn good cookies!!! BUT I bought a bag of chocolate covered pecans from this bakery. And they were BY FAR THE BEST CANDIES I HAVE EVER ATE! I took them back to Chicago with me. They were demolished in a few days. I went to try to find some in my area, nothing like these. Bummer. So when I'm back in town, this is the FIRST stop off the plane to grab cookies and pecans for my stay. This is the most darling little bakery that I ever stepped foot in (and believe me I've been in my share!) Tucked away in a little white "house" across the street from one of the entrances to Hunter Army Base. This bakery is woman owned and operated (I loved that) And the best and most important part...the best cookies EVER! My daughter had told me about this place and said that very sentence, but I thought she was exaggerating. Nope, they really are the best cookies EVER! My favorites are a toss-up between the White Chocolate & Macadamia Nut and the Oatmeal/Craisin/Toffee. I bought two dozen assorted to bring home. $10.00 a dozen, which seems a little expensive, but believe me, worth every penny! The sugar cookies come in all kinds of little cute shapes, seahorses, turtles, etc. You enter the doorway and are treated to a little gift shop, with handmade totes, purses, jewelry and little gift /souvenir items. But not too over the top. The woman helping us was so nice. My daughter made an extra stop to show me this bakery before she dropped me off at the airport (in the other direction). I asked how the cookies "would keep?" The woman (i didn't get her name) found out I was traveling by plane and extra wrapped/sealed my boxes so they would stay fresh! Every time I have a work event I always order my cookies from these ladies. I love how fun and colorful the cookies are and I always have them individual wrap them with their sticker on the back. I can't personally taste them.. Not gluten free but everyone always tells me they are delicious. Holy chocolate chip cookies girls! Ordered an array---the Chocolate Chip and the Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are out of this world. I liked seeing the knick-knack gift shop too--cute! There is plenty of room to move around, easy to park there, tons of space--and well appointed as a charming shop. Oh, wow...... It is a bit pricey be forewarned....... try about $6.50 for a half dozen. But oh my is it so good. We even asked to sample various cookies and they broke them apart and placed them on a platter for us so we weren't buying them blindly. In the back thy had about a half dozen old ladies decorating the various cookis they sell, and just watching them I could tell it was women who not only loved their job, but they took pride in their job as well. Imagine your grandmother and 5 of her friends at the beauty shop having a good time. Well that is what this reminded me of, but instead of smelling chemical treatments and gossiping, they were making cookies instead. Pure greatness. read more

The best drop cookies in the city. (Now a drop cookie is dropped by mounds of dough and spread out as it bakes.) The iced cookies are almond flavored sugar cookies and too pretty to eat, but I force myself. Naw. Not really. It is not hard. Most of the time pretty stuff is just that- pretty but not tasty. Their iced cookies are both. The white chocolate macadamia drop cookies are my favorite. But all of them are good. Really really. Even the reduced bags of day old cookies are good. I like that it is NOT a chain. it is owned by two wonderful women and it specializes in simply great cookies. No cakes, pastries, cupcakes or candy. Excellent. BTW- if you want a special item, order it in advance and have it personalized for yourself. Like a iced cookie with your wedding colors or a little yellow duck for a shower treat. Shoot! they have a crab cookie cutter that would be perfect for dessert after a Low Country Boil Party. They have dozens and dozens of cookie cutter shapes to choose from! The price is not cheap, but well worth every dime. read more

Ok their cookies are good, and the location is pleasing in a cute old house. However, they're not very nice. Don't understand why they offer a free cookie promotion through Savannah Toyota, and when redeemed they give you attitude! Much prefer Byrds' cookies. Stopped in to try some cookies, booked our wedding favors before we left! The shop was really nice and inviting. The selection of cookies is out of this world. We grabbed a couple cookies to make sure they were as good as they looked. We were not disappointed. We looked through the books and choose the cookies we wanted at our wedding. It's 1:30pm and I just called and spoke to a pleasant young woman who was very polite but not helpful. I am a pharmaceutical rep calling on Veterinarians and I have found that they love Two Smart Cookies. The cookies are great - no complaints there. I asked to order 6 dozen cookies at $15 a box to be picked up tomorrow morning for my trip this week and she checked and said that due to the "rush job" I would be charged a $5 fee. I explained to her I bought 6 dozen last week and literally walked in and bought them on the spot. It's not the $5 it's the fact that I had planned on buying 6-10 dozen every week for the year and I thought the fee was ridiculous. I told the person that I refused to pay the fee and I would have to go somewhere else" and she just said "well that's the policy". I've been a customer of theirs since 2004 or so but I have to say I hear GiGis cupcakes calling my name... read more

If I could give them a negative I would. My entire family have been doing business with two smart cookies since they opened the 1st store. This Christmas is the last time I will ever buy anything from them. Not only were the Christmas staff unhelpful but they were careless. None of my orders were even sent out. But I sure got charged for them! It may be just a cookie but to us it was a family tradition that the grandparents started. It was an unnecessary screw up that caused a lot of harm to small children that lay awake Christmas Eve thinking Santa was going to be disappointed in the cookies and not leave as good gifts as he would have if we continued the tradition. This place is nothing to brag about! The cookies are expensive and their not even that good. I gave this place 3 different chances within a 5 year period, and it just got worse each time I went. My neighbors' daughters class made better cookies from a package than this place has done all these years. Either change your batter or get a different recipe! Not going there no more! read more

Yummm! I liked the sugar, ginger, and chocolate chip cookies. I loved the jewelry. The iced cookies have almond flavoring- so beware if you don't like almond. My mom does, so she loved it. Me on the other hand have never liked almond flavoring so that is just a preference thing. The ladies that work there were nice and explained that they ship all over the country so we can order them for my mom's company all the way in Seattle. The packaging is very cute and they have samples so you don't blindly buy. I wanted the short bread but they didn't have any other then they day olds (which taste great btw and are a great deal if you are on a budget.) I think they are fairly priced and are a very nice treat, I wish there was a location in Seattle. I left my chocolate chip cookie in the car on accident and it warmed up so it was even better since the chocolate was melty! YUM! read more

I, personally, am not a huge fan of their sugar or chocolate chip cookies although everyone in my family swears they are the best. I love their chocolate almond fudgy meringue cookies. They are also very friendly and have a bunch of cute knick knacks for sale. Fun place to take the kids. read more

When it comes to visiting Savanah, admittedly I've come to expect only the best culinary…read moreexperiences; and, casual though it may be, Goose Feathers did not disappoint. Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.

We opted for 2 scoop waffle cones, but I would say that they are very generous with scoop sizes, so in the future I may stick with 1 scoop. I was also impressed with the variety of treats, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to milkshakes to floats. The only really complaint I have is that the shop is small (which explains the constant line out the door) and there is a room for seating, but there are only about 6-8 tables capable of seating only 2-3 people each. So, I would not recommend visiting if you are in a large group -- you would basically have to take your ice cream to go.

From the way the coolers are situated you can't. So ultimately it becomes a bottle neck with people trying to decipher the flavors and going through the sampling process. And to pay, you end up summoned into the next room. Also not obvious. Higher efficiency will improve the customer satisfaction and your overall sales!!
