Such a fun experience and the chocolates are amazing can't wait to go back and try more will also be trying the library location
Extremely cute visuals, just ok chocolates. I think this is an ambiance/style over substance kind of place. That's not to say the product is not good - it's obviously much more artistic and interesting than "average" chocolate shop options like a Fanny May, Kilwin's, etc... but the problem is it's just not as balanced, not as strictly controlled/kept (it's just in cabinets - cute-ass cabinets but not temp controlled), and not as high end as an actual deluxe-level chocolatier, but priced as if they are in the upper echelon. I paid about $20 (after tax) for these 6 a la carte selections, and upon trying them, felt that was too steep for the product. It's worth a stop to see the place and maybe try one before you commit to more.
Get at least one of everything. Get two if you have a partner, because you won't want to share.
When you're in the mood for some decadent artisan chocolate, Chocolat is the shop. Their chocolates are beautiful, delicious and handcrafted. You'll find amazing truffles in exotic flavors meant to tell a story, red velvet cake, blood orange, raspberry Chambord, chocolate bars, caramel sauce, chocolate covered nuts, and much more... The fun part about visiting is that you get to wonder around, take your time, and discover the menagerie of chocolate while enjoying the whimsical ambiance and self service at Chocolat.
What a great shop! The clerk was great and extremely helpful. The chocolates I picked were creative and delicious. I would love to try everything in the shop but allergies. Great shop, great place, and great service.
The chocolates from Chocolat by Adam Turoni were incredible. Each piece looked like a work of art and tasted as good as, if not better than, it looked. There are two physical storefronts in Savannah, both in historic downtown: one on W Broughton St and the other on Bull St. We went to the Broughton location which is known as "The Chocolate Dining Room." It looks like a fancy antique dining room. The shopping experience here is unlike any other chocolate shop I've been in. When my wife first walked in, her reaction was, "Wow. So cute. This is like a chocolate wonderland." My wife has visited at least four times. When she visits, she always makes a beeline to the Roasted Fig and Cognac Truffle display. The interior design of this place is unique. Many of the chocolates are on display, self-serve, in China cabinets. You grab a metal tray and pick the chocolates you want with tongs. The tongs are next to the chocolates. These are high-quality, handmade, gourmet, artisan chocolates. Not surprisingly, they're expensive. For example, at the time of writing this review, six pieces of chocolate typically run about $17 to $25. Is the chocolate worth it? In my opinion, yes. There's nothing else like them and they make fantastic gifts. So far, I've tried the following flavors: * Savannah Honey Chocolate Bar * Mint Julep Truffle * Red Velvet Cake Truffle * Dark Chocolate Silk-Filled Bullet * Mexican Mayan Truffle * Versailles Pistachio Topiary Truffle They were all phenomenal. The Savannah Honey Chocolate Bar has honey inside from Savannah Bee Company. Yum. It's also finished with 24-karat gold dust. The Mint Julep Truffle is finished with Maker's Mark bourbon. The Maker's Mark made the filling more complex than just having "regular" mint flavor. The Red Velvet Cake Truffle tasted like red velvet cake. It was really smooth and creamy. I think my favorite of this group was probably the Versailles Pistachio Topiary Truffle. It consists of a variety of textures and flavors. The matcha flavor hits you first. The top part of the truffle is made out of pistachio puree. The balance of flavors was ideal too -- the white chocolate base ("planter") didn't overpower the top topiary part. In addition to the aforementioned Roasted Fig and Cognac Truffle, another flavor my wife has had and really likes is the Raspberry Chambord Truffle. If you're a lover of fine chocolate then Chocolat by Adam Turoni is a brand/store you can't miss out on. You can order chocolates online at http://www.chocolatat.com/ and have them delivered.
Should have read all the reviews first, as I see our experience is not unique. Walked in today with the hope of getting chocolate gifts, but the older lady working there was so incredibly rude, I walked out. Glad I didn't waste my time or money; she was such a snob. I had a simple clarifying question about one of the candies and her reply was to read the card description. I'll never go back and I'll be sure to tell anyone I know about our experience there. Even if their chocolate is good, it's never going to be good enough to overcome rudeness and a condescending attitude. I'll never support a business with such an elitist attitude toward customers. She makes this shop a blight to the otherwise welcoming community. Good riddance.
Such a cute store. I had to check it out to see what the hype was about. One thing I was disappointed about was the lack of St. Patrick's Day themed chocolate. They give you a tray to place the chocolates you choose. I think the packaging is a bit underwhelming considering the chocolates are so expensive. They should put it in a box, not just mash them all together in a plastic bag... seems like it defeats the purpose. I later found out you could purchase a box, but that option wasn't presented to us... They do taste wonderful and have a lot of unique flavor combinations. We will be back I'm sure.
What a "sweet" shop! I was out and about in town when my friend asked if I wanted to pop into Chocolat by Adam Turoni. I'll never say no to chocolate! I was throughly impressed with the craftsmanship and detail in the chocolate. My favorite piece to look at was the honeycomb chocolate bar. Something about the gold dusted bees was so beautiful to me. The girl working at the store let us know we can take a silver tray and pick out what we would like. Each piece was individually priced and labeled, which I appreciate. I am deterred from purchasing something when I have no idea how much it will cost. I ended up buying a box of chocolate covered Oreos and split them with my friend. I loved the sprinkles on the outside! The cookie was fresh and you can taste the richness in the chocolate coating. It came with a generous coat, it was well worth the price. The Oreos come in a box of 6 for $10. I would like to see more Savannah themed chocolates, like a Forsyth fountain or similar.
Cutest. Chocolate shop. EVER. There are two locations, but this location was quiet and exactly what I was looking for to be able to take my time in looking at and selecting chocolates. The chocolates are on display in large wardrobes or ornate dressers. So don't be shy! Grab a tray and some tongs, open the doors and pick as many chocolates as you can afford. There are some placards in the displays that describe the chocolate and where it's from, which was helpful for me in making my final selection. The chocolates ranged from $1.75 to $12.00 per piece. My husband and I each selected three and our final total came $12 for 6 chocolates, which was reasonable considering the prices. I'd definitely recommend a trip there and then to Chippewa Square, a short walk away, where Forrest Gump was shot. After all, "life is like a box of chocolates."
This beautiful 10 pack of assorted chefs choice truffles arrived in California safe & sound and packed with care for my cousins 40th birthday. A special treat from a special place. A unique must try taste experience!
I heard my friends said that Adam chocolates are delicious and artistical o(*////////*)q。First impression of the shop is very artistic atmosphere and you can't believe is a chocolat shop。w(ﾟﾟ)w In the decorations of Art, each chocolates look alike shining gemstones。The Staff is very friendly and introduced each favors of chocolates 、you also can see they were making the chocolates via window。。z Even though the price is a little bit expensive but when I bite into chocolat, the taste is very delicate and great 、I think is Perfect gifts for your bae you know ！ (**)
This was so fun to visit! I definitely wasn't expecting the art and beautiful chocolate that they had. The way they displayed the chocolate was amazing!! I was expecting cases that held the pieces but it was so much more! They even had an option to pick out pieces and getting multiple pieces inside a box. The Chocolate was very rich and delicious!! Definitely want to get some more and they would make amazing gifts!

On Sunday, my friend Matt and I decided to stop at this cute little chocolate shop near the galleria espresso. On Sunday, we tried the mint julep chocolate as well as the strawberry cream, heart chocolate however, on Monday, we tried a pink cream chocolate and a coconut truffle chocolate. This chocolatier reminds me of the one back in Disney Springs in Florida. It was very quiet and they had a lot of their chocolates available for tasting on Monday. Half of their chocolates were gone so obviously it's a very popular location. We went to the one off of Bull Street. The decor is a mix of French architecture along with gold and whimsical touches around the store. I believe they also do boxes along with gift sets and you can also purchase bulk online. 10/10 read more

This place is amazing!! Every chocolate delight is beautifully & creatively crafted, then presented as the true artwork that it is. AND each one is delicious, clearly made with top quality chocolate/cocoa!! My family of five stumbled upon this shop a few days ago & we each picked out a different little masterpiece... and every one of us loved what we chose! We highly recommend it! read more
Chocolates look tasty but are expensive. Check in on Yelp and buy two truffles, get one free... It was about $6.50 for two. Definitely a unique store, you grab a silver tray and choose your chocolates from cabinets throughout the store. With the Yelp deal, they are flexible on what constitutes truffles, as I got two truffles and a peanut butter cup. Haven't tried my chocolates yet but they look good. read more

Their customer service is non existent. My niece ordered chocolates for use in her wedding to serve as favors. All of the chocolates arrived melted and unpresentable. After communicating multiple times their response was that even melted theirs still edible. These chocolates were damaged in transit, rendered useless a wedding favor, and they got no support. They refuse to support or remediate the problem and are leaving my niece in the cold. Terrible customer support. read more
Chocolate Lovers this is a place to visit while on Broughton Street. It's such a cute place and love the setup as you choose your own chocolate pieces. These are all hand designed and chocolate made by them onsite. The chocolate is very high quality and every piece that we ate was delicious and smooth. Loved the art work on the chocolate pieces we purchased (see my pics). The place has a Victorian feel inside and the decor is very nice. Staff was very welcoming and showed us where to get the trays to place the pieces we were buying. Hands down a place you want to try and remember it's fine chocolate and fantastic quality. I will definitely revisit when we are back in Savannah and consumes some more of that wonderful chocolate. If I'm not mistaken you can order head as well for gift giving. So what you're waiting for give them a try. read more

I've ordered delivery from this store dozens of times. The latest order arrived with 17 chocolate bars all in broken pieces. The owner's response is to refer to their shipping policy where they are not responsible for damaged goods. Do not order from them if you want to buy artisan chocolates as gifts. You will be giving damaged chocolates. Appalling customer service for a long time loyal customer! read more
I had a friend visiting Savannah. Of course I asked - "what are you going to bring me back?!?" I was asked if I wanted a t-shirt or shot glass... Uh, no. Can't you find something local to bring me??? A couple days later a box was delivered by USPS. One of the final scene's from the movie Seven flashed through my head - WHAT'S IN THE BOX MAN?!?! Inside was a beautiful tin with a bow around in. Couldn't really tell what the logo was, but it was pretty :) Red velvet truffles - oooey, gooey, melt in your mouth chocolate mousse. Wow! I only ate one, because the gift giver wants to try them too - blah, blah we'll see if they last that long!! I have a bottle of red that would go nicely with this treat!! I can't comment on the location or the customer service, but I'm really happy with the surprise treat! I'm glad to see I can order online any time I want!! read more

Was really bummed by my online experience with this. I ordered the two hollow chocolate hearts that you are supposed to break open. My first order received the one heart was already shattered but its packaging was poor so I'm not surprised it didn't survive the travel. I reached out and was sent a new one which I thought would resolve everything but I had the same issue with the second delivery. I wouldn't have been so upset except when I sent the new images to the company explaining that this gift too was damaged and requested a refund, I was met with a very rude response calling me 'babe' and claiming that the images weren't real or from that shipment (guess I should have taken a video). Very disappointed considering I had purchased 3 orders from them... read more
One for you, two for me, one for you and two for me! That is how I felt here! I wanted to share, but of course, I can't fight the chocolate and just want it all. The chocolates are lovingly displayed in cute old antique furniture. After all, Savannah is full of history. Why can't chocolate be displayed in that way too. We picked up a handful of chocolates, and couldn't stop picking. All were so good! I can't highlight a most favorite. We even got an extra chocolate from our Yelp check in. Glad I didn't forget this bonus time. Check out this chocolate for a local chocolate fix, then go to Savannah Bee Company! read more

The whole experience and chocolate designs are worth visiting this place! Walked in and was greeted and asked if we have been here before, so she gave us a little rundown on how it works and what to do. You basically get a silver tray, located at the top of the display cabinets, then use the tongs to pick out which chocolates you want to purchase. Then you pay for them and you can eat at their granite table that has about 2-3 chairs. We got the Silver Bullet: Dark chocolate center infused with vanilla, coconut oil, and finished with silver luster dust. Loved this piece! You can really taste the coconut and vanilla and nothing overpowered the other. Loved the design! Passion Fruit truffle: White chocolate ganache infused with passion fruit in a hard shell. This was our favorite! The passion fruit was perfectly infused with the white chocolate and the design of this piece was outstanding! Mint Julip Truffle: had a dark chocolate cylinder cup with a mint liquid inside which was great! And it was topped with candied mint leaf which was amazing! Packaged chocolate covered graham crackers: the dark chocolate had orange infused flavor, which I wasn't a fan of at all. The milk chocolate was better, but overall I couldn't taste the graham cracker flavor, it was more just like eating a bar of chocolate. I would definitely recommend stopping in and trying this place out! I wanted to buy more pieces as everything looked good, but it is on the pricey side, which was totally expected, and still worth it! Side note: There was an employee working on her computer with loads of paperwork on the granite countertop where customers eat, which was a little weird because it was in the way of customers, I wonder if there was room in the back of the store for store paperwork/employees to work? Tip to Owner: Water would have definitely be nice on a hot day and to quench your thirst after eating the chocolate. read more
Beautiful and unique interior to the store. The floor was made of fake turf and the chocolates were framed like artwork, and they truly were pieces of art. Although visually stunning they didn't taste particularly great. read more
Stopped into Chocolat by Aadm Turoni and feel it imperative to point out that your experience will be determined by your taste of the chocolates versus your vision of Adam as an artist. The shop is truly an artists statement, from the fake golf grass on the floor to the antique furniture statement pieces pilled with silver dishes and filled with chocolates. And don't forget to look up, you're surrounded by crown-molding ceilings filled with empty (and some full) gold- painted picture frames. Stopping into the shop, I was immediately drawn to the handmade chocolate peanut butter cups (filled with homemade peanut butter). We ordered two, a dark chocolate and milk chocolate cup and sat at the "bar" seats (four) with a view into the 'chocolate kitchen' (which was not undergoing any operations at the time). Customer service was fantastic, something I noticed overall across the board in Savannah. And while the chocolates were lovely to look at, the flavor was unexpectedly lacking and pretty average for anyone trying to make a homemade peanut butter cup. I know Adam Turoni has a creative and artistic mind, you can see that all through the shop, he is an artists. But from my tasting experience, the flavor of his chocolates isn't quite there. read more
