On Sunday, my friend Matt and I decided to stop at this cute little chocolate shop near the galleria espresso. On Sunday, we tried the mint julep chocolate as well as the strawberry cream, heart chocolate however, on Monday, we tried a pink cream chocolate and a coconut truffle chocolate. This chocolatier reminds me of the one back in Disney Springs in Florida. It was very quiet and they had a lot of their chocolates available for tasting on Monday. Half of their chocolates were gone so obviously it's a very popular location. We went to the one off of Bull Street. The decor is a mix of French architecture along with gold and whimsical touches around the store. I believe they also do boxes along with gift sets and you can also purchase bulk online. 10/10 read more

Very disappointed with our latest visit to the Savanna store. We found it 6 years ago while in Savanna and have been loyal customers by mail order ever since. We visited last weekend with 2 of our grown children and the staff could not have possibly been more disinterested in us or our purchases. Very rude and more interested in their private chat! Extremely cute visuals, just ok chocolates. I think this is an ambiance/style over substance kind of place. That's not to say the product is not good - it's obviously much more artistic and interesting than "average" chocolate shop options like a Fanny May, Kilwin's, etc... but the problem is it's just not as balanced, not as strictly controlled/kept (it's just in cabinets - cute-ass cabinets but not temp controlled), and not as high end as an actual deluxe-level chocolatier, but priced as if they are in the upper echelon. I paid about $20 (after tax) for these 6 a la carte selections, and upon trying them, felt that was too steep for the product. It's worth a stop to see the place and maybe try one before you commit to more. read more

Should have read all the reviews first, as I see our experience is not unique. Walked in today with the hope of getting chocolate gifts, but the older lady working there was so incredibly rude, I walked out. Glad I didn't waste my time or money; she was such a snob. I had a simple clarifying question about one of the candies and her reply was to read the card description. I'll never go back and I'll be sure to tell anyone I know about our experience there. Even if their chocolate is good, it's never going to be good enough to overcome rudeness and a condescending attitude. I'll never support a business with such an elitist attitude toward customers. The chocolates from Chocolat by Adam Turoni were incredible. Each piece looked like a work of art and tasted as good as, if not better than, it looked. There are two physical storefronts in Savannah, both in historic downtown: one on W Broughton St and the other on Bull St. We went to the Broughton location which is known as "The Chocolate Dining Room." It looks like a fancy antique dining room. The shopping experience here is unlike any other chocolate shop I've been in. When my wife first walked in, her reaction was, "Wow. So cute. This is like a chocolate wonderland." My wife has visited at least four times. When she visits, she always makes a beeline to the Roasted Fig and Cognac Truffle display. The interior design of this place is unique. Many of the chocolates are on display, self-serve, in China cabinets. You grab a metal tray and pick the chocolates you want with tongs. The tongs are next to the chocolates. These are high-quality, handmade, gourmet, artisan chocolates. Not surprisingly, they're expensive. For example, at the time of writing this review, six pieces of chocolate typically run about $17 to $25. Is the chocolate worth it? In my opinion, yes. There's nothing else like them and they make fantastic gifts. So far, I've tried the following flavors: * Savannah Honey Chocolate Bar * Mint Julep Truffle * Red Velvet Cake Truffle * Dark Chocolate Silk-Filled Bullet * Mexican Mayan Truffle * Versailles Pistachio Topiary Truffle They were all phenomenal. The Savannah Honey Chocolate Bar has honey inside from Savannah Bee Company. Yum. It's also finished with 24-karat gold dust. The Mint Julep Truffle is finished with Maker's Mark bourbon. The Maker's Mark made the filling more complex than just having "regular" mint flavor. The Red Velvet Cake Truffle tasted like red velvet cake. It was really smooth and creamy. I think my favorite of this group was probably the Versailles Pistachio Topiary Truffle. It consists of a variety of textures and flavors. The matcha flavor hits you first. The top part of the truffle is made out of pistachio puree. The balance of flavors was ideal too -- the white chocolate base ("planter") didn't overpower the top topiary part. In addition to the aforementioned Roasted Fig and Cognac Truffle, another flavor my wife has had and really likes is the Raspberry Chambord Truffle. If you're a lover of fine chocolate then Chocolat by Adam Turoni is a brand/store you can't miss out on. Such a cute store. I had to check it out to see what the hype was about. One thing I was disappointed about was the lack of St. Patrick's Day themed chocolate. They give you a tray to place the chocolates you choose. I think the packaging is a bit underwhelming considering the chocolates are so expensive. They should put it in a box, not just mash them all together in a plastic bag... seems like it defeats the purpose. I later found out you could purchase a box, but that option wasn't presented to us... They do taste wonderful and have a lot of unique flavor combinations. We will be back I'm sure. read more

What a "sweet" shop! I was out and about in town when my friend asked if I wanted to pop into Chocolat by Adam Turoni. I'll never say no to chocolate! I was throughly impressed with the craftsmanship and detail in the chocolate. My favorite piece to look at was the honeycomb chocolate bar. Something about the gold dusted bees was so beautiful to me. The girl working at the store let us know we can take a silver tray and pick out what we would like. Each piece was individually priced and labeled, which I appreciate. I am deterred from purchasing something when I have no idea how much it will cost. I ended up buying a box of chocolate covered Oreos and split them with my friend. I loved the sprinkles on the outside! The cookie was fresh and you can taste the richness in the chocolate coating. It came with a generous coat, it was well worth the price. The Oreos come in a box of 6 for $10. I would like to see more Savannah themed chocolates, like a Forsyth fountain or similar. read more

Cutest. Chocolate shop. EVER. There are two locations, but this location was quiet and exactly what I was looking for to be able to take my time in looking at and selecting chocolates. The chocolates are on display in large wardrobes or ornate dressers. So don't be shy! Grab a tray and some tongs, open the doors and pick as many chocolates as you can afford. There are some placards in the displays that describe the chocolate and where it's from, which was helpful for me in making my final selection. The chocolates ranged from $1.75 to $12.00 per piece. My husband and I each selected three and our final total came $12 for 6 chocolates, which was reasonable considering the prices. I'd definitely recommend a trip there and then to Chippewa Square, a short walk away, where Forrest Gump was shot. After all, "life is like a box of chocolates." read more

First time shoppers 3/19/25. Made a few selections of beautiful looking chocolates. After paying Linda the cashier placed the expensive chocolates on a NAPKIN !! and said she has no bags. We had no intention of eating all of them at once and felt that this was ridiculous. When we informed her we needed a bag..... she was extremely rude and indignant at our request raising her voice at us. If we wanted to place them in a box we would have to Pay $8.50. We asked for the small cellophane bags the chocolate bars are placed in and response was "She doesn't allow that " I am not sure who "she" was. We asked for a refund and she said she does not have the capibility of refunding us the money for the chocolate. My daughter and I stayed calm but did not want to walk around with chocolates in a Napkin for the rest of the day and insisted on our money back. We did not get back our money or take the chocolates. Their customer service is non existent. My niece ordered chocolates for use in her wedding to serve as favors. All of the chocolates arrived melted and unpresentable. After communicating multiple times their response was that even melted theirs still edible. These chocolates were damaged in transit, rendered useless a wedding favor, and they got no support. Chocolates look tasty but are expensive. Check in on Yelp and buy two truffles, get one free... It was about $6.50 for two. Definitely a unique store, you grab a silver tray and choose your chocolates from cabinets throughout the store. With the Yelp deal, they are flexible on what constitutes truffles, as I got two truffles and a peanut butter cup. Haven't tried my chocolates yet but they look good. read more

Stepped in off the street because it was raining. I was glad I did, the chocolates were a visual delight. I was drawn in by the glittering golds and dark browns of the bee chocolates, I bought a couple, I bought a hand made peanut butter cup and a dark peanut butter cup. I bought the signature keyhole dusted with gold. And the honey filled chocolates. I spent $40 on the luxury chocolates and I was not disappointed. The texture is creamy, the taste is rich and decadent. The honey was good, especially those peices with the comb. I loved how each piece, save the peanut butter cups, were dusted with gold lustre dust. And those cups were filled with hand made peanut butter. They were good, and not overly sweet. read more

Based on its location in a touristy part of town, I expected this place to just be another tourist trap selling low- to maybe mid-end chocolates. However, the shop offers amazing specialty craft gourmet chocolates and truffles at really good prices (for high-end chocolate). And I loved how the chocolates were displayed in old cabinets, and you used old drawers as trays for your selections! If you know about chocolate and are looking for the perfect treat to end an evening, I'd highly recommend. Chocolate Lovers this is a place to visit while on Broughton Street. It's such a cute place and love the setup as you choose your own chocolate pieces. These are all hand designed and chocolate made by them onsite. The chocolate is very high quality and every piece that we ate was delicious and smooth. Loved the art work on the chocolate pieces we purchased (see my pics). The place has a Victorian feel inside and the decor is very nice. Staff was very welcoming and showed us where to get the trays to place the pieces we were buying. Hands down a place you want to try and remember it's fine chocolate and fantastic quality. I will definitely revisit when we are back in Savannah and consumes some more of that wonderful chocolate. If I'm not mistaken you can order head as well for gift giving. Was really bummed by my online experience with this. I ordered the two hollow chocolate hearts that you are supposed to break open. My first order received the one heart was already shattered but its packaging was poor so I'm not surprised it didn't survive the travel. I reached out and was sent a new one which I thought would resolve everything but I had the same issue with the second delivery. I wouldn't have been so upset except when I sent the new images to the company explaining that this gift too was damaged and requested a refund, I was met with a very rude response calling me 'babe' and claiming that the images weren't real or from that shipment (guess I should have taken a video‍). We stopped in over Christmas weekend and what a pleasant experience. Choosing fancy truffles from a "library" using silver tongs and a silver platter was 100% appropriate. I placed an order with them for by March wedding, but unfortunately as a result from COVID-19 I was forced to cancel my event. I contacted all my vendors who were so wonderful and understanding of the situation, allowing me to delay orders or received refunds. Even though I contacted Chocolat TWO WEEKS prior to my event, they were not willing to negotiate. As a matter of fact, the manager never responded to my emails, and was never willing to even share a contact number with her. I went to the store twice to ask if they could at least charge me half, but no. No sensitivity of flexibility over this terrible situation. The last thing a bride wants is to have to cancel her wedding. This is a global pandemic and this brand couldn't me any less caring. Costumers, stay away! For further clarification, I ordered their honey bars which were PREPACKAGED IDENTICALLY as to how they sell them in the store. Each piece came in a separate plastic container (which by the way they charged me extra for packing, even though they didn't do anything special as promised).
