And owe were cutting the cake the sugar paper was falling off SMH

I would have never thought that this cake came from Ms Pollys Giant Cakes but oh well it did let's start with her Ms Polly she was rude to my daughter with her smart remarks secondly the cake unattractive I guessed they used what they had and the taste sorta dry not good at all never in the years have I been in Savannah I've never had any of her cake other than red velvet the yellow was not good not moist and it was ugly and on top of that you have the nerve to be rude and serve this too expensive cake you have declined in service and cake is what they are saying and I guess this is proof

Strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting

The cakes are all amazing! The strawberry cake is my all time favorite. I got a birthday cake for my boyfriend: strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting! I asked them to put Bucee on it and decorate it with the Bucee's colors. When I saw it, it blew me away! My boyfriend loved it and we've been eating it all week. Delicious, light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet! The frosting is the best frosting I've ever had! Highly recommend!

My family and I decided to celebrate our sons birthday in Savannah. GA. I was referred to the bakery by another well known bakery because they would be closed on the day I needed to pick up the cake. My son designed his cake for his 5th birthday, it was an adorable drawing. A banana cake with chocolate frosting, blue berries on top and his name written in orange color. I called this location four days in advance to request a 10 inch cake with his requests, unfortunately they had no banana cake in stock and would only be able to sell a vanilla cake with the chocolate frosting, decoration not included. For the appearance of the cake and the fact that we could not get our full request I would say the price was high for $85, but wanted to give it a try. The service was ok. The location was accessible. The cake however was DELICIOUS!... The frosting, the bread.... everything was delicious. If you live in the area, stop by and try a peace, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Can say enough, I fully recommend the experience. Drinks were a 10/10. We got the "Fourgasm" which was a cheese cake with sugared berries, carrot cake with figs/dates and nutmeg, a chocolate cake which was next level and a devils food cake. The carrot cake was okay not great, the devils food was so so but the chocolate cake with the Berry Naughty with a dark chocolate rim job. That made that cake wow! So, desserts were part of the experience and feeding one another along with the atmosphere, great spot!

Loved the dark atmosphere and romantic vibes- we only wished we had known about the Friday/Saturday night performances that are offered, so we could've planned better (maybe next time). My hubby ordered the dessert sampler... truthfully, only really would order the cheesecake and chocolate cake- the other two samples were odd tasting (but every palate is different)- just would not order it again. I do think a nice gesture of having a free dessert, being it was our anniversary, would've been nice (just a future suggestion). Street parking available and a game bar is next door, if wanting more fun entertainment after dessert!

The interior was beautiful, and overall felt upscale, while still having that Savannah charm to it. The food itself was absolutely wonderful. We ordered some oysters, and while only having some lemon and dollop of sauce, they were so full of flavor; and this was in the off months of oyster harvests. Very, very happy with the oysters. I also ordered the Husk Burger, interesting pairing I know, but it was juicy and tender, and just a delicious meal. The burgers are actually made in house, as they butcher the cow themselves and grind up and combine the parts to make the burger. I also ordered an old fashioned, and the house version uses grapefruit peels and syrup, and goodness it was one of the best old fashions I have had in Savannah. This was a lovely experience, and I will definitely be returning to try out dinner some night.

I…read moreappreciate their creative approach to Southern cuisine, but many of the flavor combinations felt overly ambitious and missed the mark. For example, after having Saint Bibiani's incredible burrata with salted peaches, Husk's pecan, cantaloupe, and goat cheese dish fell flat. Even their upscale take on hush puppies had an unusual flavor we couldn't quite place, and my daughter became ill shortly after eating them. The menu also felt limited for our tastes, with few fish options and very few dishes that appealed to us. I ended up not ordering an entrée at all, which has never happened to me, and was hungry enough to order room service back at the hotel. We do have West Coast palates, but we absolutely loved the creative Southern cuisine at Saint Bibiani, Common Thread, and even the poolside food at Hotel Bardo. Those restaurants struck the perfect balance of innovation and incredible flavor.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
