Best cookie in Savannah! Their cookies are softer, and more "modern bakery" style. They even offer a toast option! 12/10

Super friendly staff! We got the gooey butter cake and Cookie Monster cookies and the mud pie and salted caramel pretzel and it was all super good!

Are you freaking kidding me?!? Get one to share with your entire circle of friends. There's plenty to go around. Choose your freshly baked cookies (mix & match) then choose your ice cream. If you are a bottomless pit, you might want to put some extra stuff on it... whipped cream, nuts, caramel, fruity Pebbles... I did not do this. I didn't think there was ANY way I'd be able to finish this, but here I am... still eating.

If you're a fan of ice cream and cookies, this place is a must-visit! Located on Broughton Street with street parking available nearby, it's a spot you'll want to check out. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, though--this place gets busy because people absolutely love their oversized, over-the-top ice cream sandwiches, and the best part is you can customize your own creation. The cookies are baked fresh daily, and they even offer two types of gluten-free cookies, kept separate to avoid any cross-contamination. Plus, there's a great selection of both dairy and dairy-free ice cream options. If you have allergies, just let them know, and they'll go the extra mile to make sure your sandwich is prepared separately to prevent any issues. For anyone who loves a good ice cream sandwich, this is the place to go--think of it as an ice cream sandwich, but way better!

We originally went to Baked Bear in San Diego and have been to locations across the country since then as they've expanded. Was so excited to see this one in Savannah so we were all too happy to stop in. The cookie of the month is M&M which is absolutely speaking my language so I ordered that for my sandwich with cookies & cream ice cream. They put SO MUCH ice cream on it here, almost too much to be balanced with the cookies? But not complaining about that because it's sooooo good. The cookies are fantastic and we love how they press them to warm them up. Six stars, no notes.

A lot of great reviews of this place and the hype is definitely warranted! Menu is an option of ice cream and 2 choices of cookies to choose from, including 2 cookie of the month specials. My friend and I got two cookie sandwiches and the total was under $20. In 2025, I consider that very reasonable. The quantity meets the quality standard as well. Me personally, the ice cream sandwich is big enough for 1 person and can be split to 2 people if appetites aren't big. We even asked "How we supposed to eat this?" because of the size. Do not recommend eating it like a sandwich ;) Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time I am in Savannah.

One of the highlights of the trip so far! 6 stars/5. This place reminds me of one of my favorite (now closed) ice cream sandwich shops in the Chicago burbs, down to the lay out of the cookie bar, ice cream, and L shaped interior. My $8.50 ice cream cookie sandwich was worth every penny. You get to choose your cookie types or if you want a brownie as one of the sides, along with the ice cream flavor. Of the dozen or so flavors (mint chip, cookies and cream, cookie dough, caramel pretzel, cake batter, etc), I chose mud pie, which was delectable coffee ice cream with fudge and brownie pieces. My sandwich was STUFFED to the brim with ice cream, and I needed a spoon to eat it. Scoops go for $5.50, waffle cones are $1.25, and toppings are $0.75. There's 4 four seater tables inside, and a unisex single bathroom in the back. Yummy cold treat for those hot, humid Savannah days! Worth all the calories!

Super yummy ice cream served in the middle of two fairly soft cookies. There is over 5 options for cookies and around 10 flavors of ice cream to mix and match. $9 for an ice cream sandwich. Limit of 3 ice cream samples but delicious ice cream and super yummy cookies.

I first had The Baked Bear in San Diego about 5 years ago. I was so excited to see they opened a location in Savannah! Hubby and I along with his brother and our sister-in-law were in Savannah for the weekend. We just had to drop in for a treat. We ordered a custom ice cream sandwich to share - a molten lava cookie, a gooey butter cake cookie, and bear batter ice cream. It was delicious! Their cookies are some of the best around - soft, sweet, warm and gooey! Add ice cream and it really gets kicked up a notch. The ice cream sandwiches are pretty large and perfect for sharing. The lines are usually long but The Baked Bear is so worth it!

The baked bear had a variety of cookies, brownies, and ice cream. My sister and I had their special strawberry match cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good. But a huge dessert to finish on your own since it is a bit on the sweeter side. I would recommend one cookie and saving the other. The service was friendly and fast. The shop was clean and well decorated. I love the sleek modern look.

Unreal. Insane. Delicious. All words I would use to describe this experience. The ice cream and cookies are amazing. I will say my eyes were bigger than my stomach and after eating the entire thing recommend you pace yourself. However, this place is a perfect stop for a sweet treat.

I found The Baked Bear after a quick Google search and decided to stop by later in the night. Even at that hour there was a line out the door, which told me everything I needed to know. The shop offers cookies and ice cream in several fun combinations from cookie bowls with ice cream on top to full cookie ice cream sandwiches. I chose a cone of the Bear Batter, which is a cake flavored ice cream with brownie mixed in and a bright blue hue. The ice cream was tasty and creamy, and I also had a taste of the cookie dough ice cream, which was a bit more robust and creamier than the flavor I chose. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back to try the cookies with the ice cream since this time I only had the cone.

Such a fun concept- build your own ice cream sandwich using fresh baked cookies and ice cream flavors of your choice! Don't want an ice cream Sammy? Enjoy an ice cream cone or build your own ice cream cookie bowl. They also have an array of toppings, brownies, and they'll even warm your cookies, too! Service was very helpful with explanations of all the choices, and the array of cookie and ice cream flavors are easily seen through their window!

Thankfully, I was able to visit right as they opened around 11:15AM, so the line was not nearly as long as I have seen it previously. There are many nostalgic ice cream flavors offered here that other shops don't sell, such as the peppermint and tutti fruit flavors. However, we ended up getting the seasonal Girl Scouts thin mint flavor and chocolate flavors, which were both excellent. We opted for 2 scoop waffle cones, but I would say that they are very generous with scoop sizes, so in the future I may stick with 1 scoop. I was also impressed with the variety of treats, ranging from ice cream sandwiches to milkshakes to floats. The only really complaint I have is that the shop is small (which explains the constant line out the door) and there is a room for seating, but there are only about 6-8 tables capable of seating only 2-3 people each. So, I would not recommend visiting if you are in a large group -- you would basically have to take your ice cream to go.

However, there really is not a reason the process could not be made just a little more efficient. While waiting in line it would be helpful to easily see what flavors are available. From the way the coolers are situated you can't. So ultimately it becomes a bottle neck with people trying to decipher the flavors and going through the sampling process. And to pay, you end up summoned into the next room. Also not obvious. Higher efficiency will improve the customer satisfaction and your overall sales!!

The interior was beautiful, and overall felt upscale, while still having that Savannah charm to it. The food itself was absolutely wonderful. I also ordered the Husk Burger, interesting pairing I know, but it was juicy and tender, and just a delicious meal. The burgers are actually made in house, as they butcher the cow themselves and grind up and combine the parts to make the burger. I also ordered an old fashioned, and the house version uses grapefruit peels and syrup, and goodness it was one of the best old fashions I have had in Savannah. This was a lovely experience, and I will definitely be returning to try out dinner some night.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
