Given my particular situation, she took extra time with me to make sure I understood the procedures for moving out quickly so that I wouldn't be charged extra for moving out on short notice. She was kind and made a very difficult emotional time for my family less difficult. Can't say enough good things about them. The area might be a bit rough, but the climate controlled units I used were clean and well monitored by cameras, locked doors & lots of safety wire around the perimeter. Cost was a concern for us, and they provided the perfect solution.

I was informed of my next balance because the next balance was due as well, after I got off the call and my payment was successful they let me know that they had some of the next balance waived!! I was very ecstatic they really helped me out and listen to me very caring and genuine I recommend any day!!!! EDIT: I called and spoke to Jason today He is always very helpful and was able to assist me with making a payment and waving my late fee as a courtesy due to making a payment one day after the late fee was charged!!!

I think it goes without saying, because of my 5 star rating, I had the best experience a person could hope for while I was here. While I can understand that not everyone has the same experience, I want to tell you about mine in hopes that you will decide for yourself if you wish to patronize this particular Public Storage location. I am a Property Manager of a luxury mid-rise here in Uptown, Charlotte. Both my industry and this industry and closely paralleled. I found that I had to move from my current apartment and was given 1 week to find a place to store my belongings while I waited on my new place to be ready. I called the Corporate reservation and spoke with a nice gentleman who gave me a temporary reservation at this location and instructed me to visit the property in order to see my unit and pick up keys. Upon my arrival at Public Storage I was helped by William. It was the end of the day - I couldn't get off any sooner- and I walked in to a packed office. I was greeted the moment I walked in (something I drill into my staff in my industry) and was told that I would be helped as soon as they could. I think it's amazing that they were close to the cut-off for tours on the golf cart, and I didn't get a heavy sigh or catch an attitude for my tardiness. I was eventually set up with William. I told William that I had a reservation from corporate and that I was here to see it. I gave him the information and paperwork and we hopped right on the golf cart to go see the unit. We got there only to find out he had forgotten the key in the office- something I easily laughed off, as we are all human- and after revisiting the office we finally got the unit and opened it up. I'll be honest, it wasn't as large as I thought it was going to be, but fit my stuff just fine regardless. The unit was clear minus a few leaves etc. I told him it was perfect and I was ready to pay and get to moving. We went back to a now quiet office where I got the opportunity to speak with Tierria (HILARIOUS) who I later found out was the manager. As William prepared my paperwork I had some time to sit around a joke with the two. I told them what I did and how the rental insurance and their sales tactics were exactly like what I did on a daily basis. We finished up through laughter and stories and I was thanked for my business and given a card to go online and tell everyone about my experience. I am here to tell you I know the power of a review and what that can do to either help or hinder your business and I hope this not only helps them, but helps others who need to find a temporary home for their belongings. The entire staff at Public Storage, not just William and Tierria, as I have been helped by others since then in my random outings, have all been AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, PROFESSIONAL and TOP-NOTCH. I wanted to speak on Tierria and William specifically as they have been the ones helping me all along. In fact, every time I go in to make a payment or ask a silly question, I am not only greeted the moment I walk in the door but I am greeted, BY NAME! Are you kidding me?! The amount of people these people meet, see, and speak with and they remember me and make sure to make me feel welcome the second I walk in the door. Now THAT is customer service and I don't care who you are. Bottom Line. End of Story. Public Storage knew what they were doing when they hired the team at the Wilkinson Blvd. location and they knew what they were doing to put Tierria in a management position. All of their guys are strong, smart, motivated, friendly, and strive to make sure your move is seamless and stress free on you. Plus their managers and owners are often on site for the move, especially tricky portions of it like moving in or out of a condo with pour loading dock access. They even bring extra guys in for tedious portions of the move (tracks down long hall ways which take considerable amounts of time) to ensure things stay moving. Pricing seems to be fair from what I can tell, though admittedly did not shop...piece of mind with your belongings (have to assume some of those are highly cherished) is totally worth it!!
