Normally this place would be a 5 stars for me, but today I was pretty upset by the service I received. I come here regularly to get my espresso drink mixed with white mocha over ice. This morning I specifically ordered this drink and asked if it would count for happy hour after 3pm (buy 1 get 1 free mixed espresso drink) and the very nice man at the window asked his manager and came back to tell me that it would count. So I came back at 4pm to order the drink and asked if I get a free one also, and was told my drink didn't count. I wasted 10 minutes in the drive thru line to be told I couldn't get the free drink even after coming back a second time today! Not a happy customer at all. Even the nice young man at the drive thru window apologized and acknowledged that the manager agreed this morning so he didn't know why it didn't count now. I drove off without making too much of a big fuss. Next time, please be more consistent with what you tell your customers. read more

Call your drinks when they are ready and placing them at the bar! I just waited an an extra 5 mins for a simple grande iced coffee when it was there the whole time hiding behind a venti ice water. Totally unnecessary. Takes literally 2 seconds to call out a drink when placing it down. Meanwhile I watched a barista have trouble using the milk steamer. Both seem like the easiest of tasks. I go here most mornings during the week at about 7 AM. The Good: Consistent coffee, the line moves quickly and the cream sugar area is well stocked, watched and maintained. The Bad: The parking lot is a little funky as there are only a few spots in the front. You also pull in and you're getting people pulling out of the drive thru. As I am sure you know, some of them jet through I've had a couple of occasions where I had to hustle. The Ugly: I don't often use the word pretentious but I've been struck with this word as being an accurate description for more than a few of the people taking my money at the register. Is it horrific? No it's a mild annoyance and isn't a daily occurrence but I'm not imagining it. So some more positives and why it gets 4 stars: 1 star = adequate staff. They have enough people to keep the front desk, the drive through, mobile orders and the cream area running very well. I've been in other Starbucks where that was not the case at all. 1 star = floor plan. It's not a huge store but is a great size for the clientele. 1 star = drive thru. It's a nice have a lot of them don't have this 1 star = consistent quality of product. I've read some of the other reviews complaining about this. So a caveat, I go in at the same time every morning around 7AM. Maybe it's different at 10, 2pm I don't know. I am a fan, if there were half star ratings I would be giving this local 4.5. .5 Off for SOME of the staff. Additionally it's right in the heart of Worcester next to 290 pretty easy to access. Super super disappointed, it's very early on a Saturday and as a gold card Starbucks member I have high expectations for my favorite coffee vendor. We walked in to the Worcester MA location next to the 99 restaurant to get 5 flat white drinks for our 2 hour ride home only to be told they were closed and no other ones in the area were open. Really? We are right next to the DCU center where a huge dance competition exited moments ago (99 restaurant had a line out the door) and the Garth Brooks concert was about to exit. The communication with the employee fell well below any acceptable level of customer service. I am a regular at this particular location, so the staff knows me well enough to know how I like my coffee. Plus this is the only place in Worcester that doesn't serve their cold brew pre-mixed as I like mine a particular way. Today really set the bar! Not only did it look an smell like someone peed on the floor there was trash all over the place like a back street alley. Just average for a Starbucks. The staff is hot and cold....a past visit one of the cashiers was very rude then became confrontational; today as I sat inside someone clearly took a lot of joy in banging equipment around...the coffee grinder in particular. Way more than normal banging to clear the grinds. On the flip side the remainder of the staff seemed very jovial..a couple even seemed to notice the banging too! read more

.... not good. I only went there twice and I took a sip and I felt something hit my tooth then I spit it out. What I spit out looked like gravel. And there was more than one "gravely" rock like things in my drink. And about 20 minutes ago I had just left I also had $10 left on my card and they completely over charged me on my drink more than once.... 3 times..... to the point where I owed around $1.50 without my card and I was confused because I could've swore I had $10 which I did because I had just reloaded $15 yesterday and I had purchased a drink yesterday which was charged which left me $10 on my card today. I had notifications on my phone saying my balance hit 0 after I noticed I received notifications. And I remembered hat I reloaded it after. Absolutely awful. I live 30 minutes away from that one so I'm not driving all the way other there but I'm not impressed. Negatively impressed is more like it. read more

I am a coffee freak... I used to drink any swag that came out of a hot or warm pot... but I have been drinking "the good stuff" for almost a decade now and I love their coffee. This location is really convenient since it's right off the highway. Local commuters will fight for parking space with out-of-towners stopping off the highway for a quick fix. Thank goodness there is a drive-through. The staff are good... peak hours are always hectic but they handle things pretty well. They have been very nice and professional with me. 3 out of 5... not bad... better than average. Will continue to visit. read more

Everyone is friendly and helpful and the fact that it has a drive thru makes it even better! I am a dunkins girl all day but sometimes it's nice to have a change... Every time I make the mistake of coming here not only do I waste atleast 10$ I'm almost NEVER happy with the coffee... It is WAY too strong even when asked for extra sugar or syrup. Also THEY CLEARLY LIKE GIVING YOU WARM ICED COFFEE. Every time I order a iced coffee it literally taste like it has sit out for at least 2 hours. The staff is so friendly though that's why I even give this place 2 stars. I love drinking at Starbucks but this Starbucks does not have it together. They didn't even fill my drink up all the way -- it was only 3/4 of the way to the top and the worker didn't think I would notice. When I asked for sugar-free syrup, they put in the regular syrup plus extra syrup in my drink before telling me. The workers failed to give good customer service and although it is the most convenient to my work route, I will never come here again. I'd rather go 10 minutes out of my way then experience this bad service again. read more

I stopped here after leaving the holiday inn next door. Hungover and cranky, I ordered a green tea latté iced (mistake). The powder does not mix with cold milk (I assumed they would steam the milk to dissolve the powder and THEN ice it, which is how it should be prepared). I then expressed my dissatisfaction with the young man working the counter who was very awkward and tbh should be working a drink or food position (no offense just objective honesty). Rather than subbing out my nasty latte (I explicitly said "Can I just have an iced coffee instead?") he charged me for a new coffee and then tried to keep my latte (?). I said if I'm just gonna have to pay for a new drink I will keep the latte. Anyway, I was very annoyed that I had to spend double the money instead of just being heard and accommodated with customer service. But the double smoked bacon cheddar sandwich was amazing and everyone seemed really friendly. Maybe just train the boy who was working counter at 10:45 AM on Sunday, 1/29/2017 a bit better in service recovery and customer service. Thanks :) read more
