Nothing special. Ordered my coffee via the app and it was ready in about 10 mins. It was just a drip coffee. I do like their machines now where it grinds the coffee and makes it so I know it is t old coffee. The restrooms were not super clean. Nothing exciting but nothing bad. read more

Cashier took my card and added herself a tip without asking me and did not tell me. I happened to see it on the screen as she was holding it and my card. Adding a tip is a conversation and should be my choice. Ask for receipt everyone. read more

This is definitely the most frustrating Starbucks. I've been to this location a handful of times. The line is usually long and the baristas always have off the wall excuses on why the drink was made incorrectly or that they don't have straws. On my most recent visit, we got a Trenta pink drink and asked for a straw. The barista said, we don't have any disposable straws at the moment. So I said okay so you don't have any straws and he said no. I drove away but let's be honest.... How are you selling other drinks like Frappuccino's if you don't have straws?? This Starbucks is located on my way to my office and so I frequent it quite often. I used to go through the drive thru which was hit or miss. Some days there would be one or two cars, and other days it would be wrapped around the building. If it was wrapped around the building sometimes it took 10 minutes, one day it took 30 and that's when I gave up. So now I've gotten smarter and I use the app to place a mobile order when I am about 10 minutes out. This has worked great for me for the most part. In the many times I've visited only once did it say mobile order was unavailable. I have had them run out of my favorite bacon gouda sandwich at least twice though which is a bummer. However for the most part I am pleased with the service through the mobile order system. I have gone in before as well, but thanks to COVID your only options are drive thru, to go, or mobile order. You cannot dine in. Also, please note that masks are required to enter the building to place a to go order or pick up your mobile order. read more

Do you know they can't give out a cup of water without a purchase I found that crazy it just water as hot as as is outside and as lot homeless people walk around up that way also and no water for them also hopefully they start having some compassion too not let all them go without something as simple as water! read more

Worked for Starbucks years and years ago . All I can say is that if rules still apply they are broken like crazy at this location. Sitting in drive through employees continuously bring out the trash with their apron on which is completely unsanitary. Inside is pretty much the same. Boxes everywhere. In the lobby, unattended where customers could possibly trip. That's an accident waiting to happen not to mention a lawsuit.. This location stays filthy. Half of the employees don't even know what the Starbucks swirl is... The lobby which is where people sit is always filthy. They have no problem with you cleaning up other tables. From crumbs to a sticky table. Asking for toilet paper telling them things are dirty doesn't seem to phase them in the least. No compensation no apologies when they're out of something or when a beverage doesn't taste like it should. Instead of remaking it which is Starbucks policy they take your old drink and add syrups that they forgot. It's a real poor excuse for a Starbucks or at least what I used to stand for when I worked there. I was so proud.. The photos below will not let me comment but this is what I walked into no napkins, no sleeves. Coffees being passed off just bare. No name is called no description of a beverage called. Just people picking up cups trying to figure out what is theirs and what's not.. Bathroom had no toilet paper with actual feces on the wall. No apologies no compensation as you're just expected to pay $7 to $8 dollars a beverage and sit in filth or leave or if you go to the restroom use it with no toilet paper in extreme filthy conditions. Well, it's not 24 hours anymore -- they close at 11pm. I think that's reasonable through because I can't imagine the demand for Starbucks is a 24 hour endeavor. I took off stars because of service and quality. Each time I come, the quality is very inconsistent. Service still hasn't gotten any better either -- there's still a lot of people behind the counter, but it's still very slow to get any attention at the counter. At least they have internet now and it's fast and reliable. Still a pretty good place to go study or chill with friends, but just be wary of their consistency. read more

This location hasn't had the cafe open in over two weeks. Not sure what the problem is. The drive up wait is a solid 30 minutes. It would be super helpful if the close sign was posted more visibly than the tiny piece of paper on the door! What gives? read more

There were 5 people working Behind the counter and two employees sitting at a table playing on their phones. I know that because I used the app to put my order in and when I got there all the doors were locked. The service was extremely slow in the drive-through. I sat for 30 minutes before I saw a person beating the door down to get their mobile order and someone eventually did come out. I then asked that they also get my order and about 10 minutes later I finally got my mobile order. I have never had such horrible service with so many people working at a Starbucks ever and I have visited hundreds of them across the US. read more

Cafe closed can't mobile order or go inside to order. Drive thru is a 25+ minute wait anytime time of the day. Does corporate or regionals not look at these comments? I would like to report an incident that happened on February 27, 2019 at the Starbucks location in Winter Haven on Cypress Gardens near Hwy 17. My wife who has Stage 2 Alzheimer was humiliated in public by a barista named David. Specifically, she requested a coffee refill and not aware of Starbucks protocol, went to he head of the line. David, clearly agitated, hung and shook his head embarrassing my wife. I immediately asked for the store manager who told me "not to worry about it". The incident was witnessed by every person in the line. Both my wife and I have been loyal Starbucks customers for decades, spending at least $25 per week. Starbucks has a history of being intolerance to ethnic customers and now people with disabilities. This unfair treatment of customers who don't meet their standards must stop. read more

Every time I go here, when I actually stay, it's over 30 minutes in line and there was only one car in front of me. Then I get a venti iced drink, no lid and a small straw because that's all they had. Crazy, for the cost, get it together. read more

We absolutely love us some Starbucks! Being from Seattle where there's one on every corner it really has all come down to convenience and speed. Getting in and out regardless if it's drive through or running inside has been the normal for most locations. However, this specific location doesn't seem to be attending the same training classes as the rest of them and it definitely shows. While the staff has been upbeat, full of smiles, and just all around great people, the speed of service has us trying real hard to figure out what's going on behind the scenes. Here is how our last visit went down. We pulled up to a line that was backed up almost 3/4 of the lot around the building. Normally we would decide to just park and go in at this point but figured we'd take this time as an opportunity to deal with things on our phones. It didn't take too long to get to the speaker and get our order in. Everything was good up to this point. From the speaker there is room for about four cars. No joke it took at least 20 minutes to get to the window. There were handing out one drink at a time with long periods of time between drinks. Almost felt as if people were ordering extra drink at the window. When it was my turn they were quick to hand me my first Frappuccino which had obviously been sitting for some time. It appeared to have three clear layers(liquid, normal, and frozen top) and was a little more than a inch low from the normal fill zone. Than we waited. And waited. And waited. There were a lot of moving bodies inside but no second drink coming. Eventually we ended up getting it and went on our way. Now before you go and say things like "it was one bad experience" or "you didn't get your drinks at the same time because they were different drinks"..... This has been pretty much the normal speed of service for this specific location on every visit for us and we order two of the same exact drink every time. So why would there be more than a five minute wait at the window between drinks?! Come on Starbucks?! This is the closest one to me! Let's get things back on track! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have never had good service at this location but today tops it all. I placed an order on the mobile app because I already knew how long the wait in line would be. The order verified to pick up the order in the lobby. When I got there the lobby was locked and I could see the pick-up counter full of app orders. I was told that I had to get in the drive-thru line. After a 35 minute wait in line, the barista gets upset when I asked them to remake our order since it would no longer be hot. Then when we finally get the drinks they do not taste like they are made correctly (very weak like the right amount of shots were not in them)! Never again. read more

The absolute WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. Each time I visit this location my drink is incorrect and the staff gets frustrated when you let them know they did not give you WHAT YOU ORDERED! At least 4 individuals sent their drink back while I was there today for it being incorrect. One person ordered a Venti they received a Grande, I kid you not I watched the "barista" scoop the whipped cream off this drink dump it into a Venti cup and top it off with milk! UNACCEPTABLE! Today I placed a mobile order and allowed myself extra time to get to the store because I know the time estimate is never accurate. I kid you not I stood in their face for 30 MINUTES ON TOP OF MY 10 MINUTE DRIVE TO THE LOCATION! 40 FREAKING MINUTES for a Cold Brew! Now they were busy and I tried to extremely sensitive to the fact which is why I even waited that long. However, when someone walks right in and ask why their drink is not ready and you immediately begin making their drink WITHOUT any sympathy to the group of people whom have been standing in your face I had to speak up at this point! This was my absolute final visit to this location. It has completely gone downhill and I have no hopes that they can ever redeem themselves. If you like your espresso drink without any espresso, just flavored sour milk, then this is the Starbucks for you. The fact that there were few customers there, yet the service was still so slow and incapable, just defies any rational explanation. It used to be a good place, really. The absolute slowest Starbucks. Everytime I come here it's at least 10 minutes in the drive through even though they truly aren't busy inside and there's only three cars ahead of me. I'm rating this purely on the interior, I have yet to try the drive-thru. Usually when you think of Starbucks, a decently sized building with an amazing atmsphere and delicious coffee comes to mind. This location is tiny. The bathrooms are really big tho. I feel as tho they should've halved the size of the bathrooms to make the place bigger... For food, I'd rather walk over to chick-fil-a or panera and get some coffee from here... the food here is expensive and literally microwaved. Overall the taste of the coffee is still good, and I still come here to chill with friends or finish work/study. The free WiFi certainly helps their rating. If you want something to wake you up or sugary beverage this place is pretty good. I personally prefer Dunkin Donuts tho. read more

Of all the Starbucks I've gone to (and that's been a lot) across the country, this is by far the worse. The drive thru service is horrible. One of the servers always addresses me as sweetie. I'm old enough to be her Grandmother. My fraps are inconsistent, sometimes way to much mocha. One day you couldn't even get a frap. Apparently their blender wasn't working. They are the only Starbucks in Winter Haven, so I guess I'll have to drive to Eagle Ridge Mall to get my fix. read more

Really bad parking scenario at times. Interior has more tables than most of the new stores so thats a plus. Service is good. At peak times though you may still have trouble finding a seat. Decor is newer darker style. read more
