They have a great drink selection including coffee, tea, Kratom, kava, and beers. It's such a chill spot to just have a drink and relax and vape if you're into that. David Tuttle opened Richard's Fine Coffee's on June 11, 1996. Upon realizing that there were no independent coffee house in Winter Haven, he wanted to bring residents and visitors a new coffee drinking experience. Richard's originally operated out of the Arcade Building before moving to the new Winter Haven Public Library when it opened its new building in 2005. In the ensuing years Richard's Fine Coffee's has become a cornerstone to the revitalization of downtown. One of the keys to Richard's longevity has been providing a place where people can meet, relax, and enjoy delicious coffee and bites. On the first Friday of every month they have a live music event. They serve a daily breakfast and lunch menu that includes hot and cold coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soup, and pastries. We drove nearly 45 minutes and arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and they weren't open!! No sign on the door as to why it's closed. Hours of operations also states closes at 8pm on Saturday. I called them multiple times and no one picked up, so we left. Was looking forward to try it but end up just wasted time and gas. If they took a couple minutes and updated their sudden closure on Google, I would have known to head to north to Orlando instead of here.
