Not a lot of breweries in the area so we were glad to find this! I recommend going during trivia night! The vibe was vibing for sure! Beer was pretty good! Sat at the bar because all the tables were occupied so we got to chit chat with the staff here and there. Pretty rad dudes.

Awesome brewery in downtown WH. Plenty of seating and good vibes here. The bartender was very friendly and helpful during selections. They have a good selection of housemade and some guest brews. Definitely a good spot to go! There was even a food truck on site for some Thai delights.

This place has become one of my go tos when I visit Winter Haven. While they don't serve their own food (other than snacks) there is very often a food truck there, which has been different every time I have gone. All of the bar tenders are always super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about all of the different beers on tap. I have never had a beer here I didn't like, and they change some of them out depending on the season. They have a great outdoor area and the inside is very cozy. It's normally pretty busy when I go, but the noise level has never been too much. They are also dog friendly which is great because I always bring my dogs with me. Great place to come relax and have a drink.

For a gloomy Saturday afternoon Grove Roots was a bright spot. The taproom is spacious with even more outdoor seating available. Their brewery staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Their fridge is stocked with 6 packs to take home and enjoy. Hungry....they have snacks over the counter for purchase (pretzels and chips) and a rotating food truck out in their large parking lot to satisfy your craving.

Grove brewery to the left of the truck, sorry only pic I have!!!

Family food adventure with a part 2!!! We came here to try Chubby Wubby's food truck, check out review on my page!!! For the drinks we had to go to Grove Roots, Chubby Wubby's does not have drinks, please be advised!!! The drinks were pricey, of course that's what they sell. We got 2 soda's, 2 bottles of lemonade and a small glass of wine The soda's were in coolers and self serve, they did not have a huge selection, 3$ a can Lemonade came in a glass bottle was a specialty lemonade and were 4$ a bottle. The wine for a small maybe 8oz = 1 cup it was $6 for a sangria (dark, they did not have white) $23 w/tip, b/c of course you have to leave a few dollars for pouring a glass of wine! I looked over their selection and they did have allot of options for beer, but we are not beer people, unfortunately you'll have to try these for yourself, LOL!!! The outside area is very nice, as long as it's not too hot as I did not see any outdoor fans and it is quite large so there is plenty of space to have some around the tables. It was not too busy for the evening hours, there was room to move around and not feel squished like at a bar, not sure about later in the night tho as we left by 6pm.

Very nice brewery with a large outdoor seating area (multiple picnic tables and chairs) . The inside also had ample seating. When I was there they had live music inside. Brewery staff were very welcoming and happy to make recommendations . We just tried their Pilsner which was refreshingly crisp- a great example of the style. They had cans to go along with glassware for sale. Definitely an awesome stop in if you are in town. I saw a food truck there.

Great place! Came here on a Thursday night where they sponsor a fun run/walk (1.5 miles or a 5K). There were about 12-15 people who ran. There is no need to be fast - we were not! It was great to get some exercise in and then be rewarded with beer and food. Food trucks each night. They had a ton of choices for beer as well. The ambiance is great and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Calm location, lots of free parking, tons of comfy seating inside and out! Inside, they have at least 12+ beers on tap, my hubby was happy and I had the one and only cider, tasted! I would love to see more cider variety on the menu, everywhere in Florida!!! They also have chips (snacks) for sale at the bar and a food truck, see their calendar to see which food truck will be in the parking lot ;) The service was fast, friendly and the place immaculate! Very cold inside, bring a sweater (at least it was for me). Go, have a drink and enjoy!

Who knew Winter Haven was so big on breweries and good beer. If you haven't been down town Winter Haven you need to now not later get off the couch get into your car and head downtown. Grove is the place you want to be at in Winter Haven. Live music, good vibes, and great beer. So many different choices that you have to flip a coin as to which one you are drinking. The only fair way in my opinion. Friendly, knowledgeable staff will help you pick just the right brew for you.

Really good brewery in the heart of downtown Winter Haven. This was my first visit and I tried eight of their brews via two flights of four. The lip ripper and peanut pickers were my favorites. They have a pretty large property both inside and out to hang out and sit around. Many people bring their dogs, there were probably too many dogs the night I was there as there was more than a bit of barking going on. Had a food truck that night - Sikes Southen BBQ. I had the loaded pork BBQ nachos and they were excellent and a great pairing with the beer!

On vacation and stopped by this local brewing company and it did not disappoint. A group of 8 and all ordered different local brewed beers and all were delicious . Clean , fun and hip brewery with corn hole, lots of games and family friendly ambiance. Service is walk up but very efficient . A boy named sous was the local food truck for the day . Weekly calendar online . Check it out next time you're in town .

It's ok... Customer relation is horrible. The city would benefit from strong competition.

I would say I could recommend this place, but naw... A darn good time is having a cigar and stout beer in a small town setting. The reason for such a bad review, the female behind the counter request to have me move 50 yards from the door to enjoy a cigar with a good beer. The patio is a large one and And long, not near the door of Grove. I had already noticed her body language / attitude and did not light it up. Nor did I have it out in hand, rather in my Corona cigar bag. I'm sure some folk have had issues with customer service at the Grove. Some chose to just leave it be. However, I want people to know, and be the judge for themselves. It's was her attitude and if there is not a sign then don't tell a customer to go to another portion of the property to enjoy a cigar. Especially if they will be stay and spending even more money. But as I say I observed the vapors go down. It's there choice but not a customer friendly choice. Yea there is a small no smoking sign in several places on the entry way. Besides, they always have kids in and out of the place. Another issues for me. Bars and drinking is not a place for the kids.

What a fun brewery to visit! Great bartender that was easy to talk to and knowledgeable. My husband loved all the German beer they had due to Oktoberfest. I'm more of an IPA lover, so didn't find too many I liked but all the beer we tried was delicious and well made!

    Does this establishment serve food?

No they do not. They usually have a food truck there in the evenings. They have chips inside but that is all. When we go we either grab something from the food truck or do an uber eats order.

It was a really cool experience, and they do a "cheers" or raise your shell "boola" (which I may be spelling wrong) to welcome you! He was kind enough to give us a good back ground of the place, its items, and what's featured. They had live music going which got pretty loud, but he had them turn it down! He mentioned they have only been open 2 months, but I could imagine once people recognize it is here it could get pretty popular! One thing I am quite impressed with is their hours 8 am - 2 am daily! Plus they have events all the time, such as paint and sip! I will say I tried a lot of different drinks so after leaving I didn't feel the best, but once I got home I felt fine! I highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance!

The drinks were very good, service was super friendly, it was the food that fell short. Here's what we got and what we thought. My husband started with the harborside margarita, which was great. He then decided to get a fishbowl margarita. It's 52 oz so it's huge. It was only $15 which was stunning for that amount. He couldn't finish it and left about 1/3. I got a watermelon smash. It has a good amount of alcohol and was delicious. I'd probably branch out and try something else, but it was pretty good. For food we started with the meatballs. It's all beef and was the highlight of the meal. The kids loved the bread it came with. I got a lobster roll and found it had too much dressing to let the lobster shine. It was $30 and disappointing. The coleslaw was ok. My husband got a filet with a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad also had too much dressing. The filet was ok. I didn't love it but our younger son did eat a bit. My older son got the French bread pizza with fries and didn't like the pizza. I wasn't a fan either, the cheese tasted pretty meh to me. He ate some of the fries. Overall this place is great for the atmosphere but I don't think we'll be back soon because of the food.
