Happy Hour: just for some drinks and unfortunately not explained by the waitress and not indicated on the menu we got We had a watermelon smash (12 dollar) and a harborside margrita (13 dollar) which were very good. We ordered the gator bites (18,50 dollar) ... hugh portion. The drunken mussels (16.50 dollar) were delicious but too fast too cold We ended with a pineapple rum cake (13.50 dollar - for me too sweet) and a NY cheesecake (10.50 dollar) which was delicious. Total of the bill: 116.63 dollar. We decided NOT to tip, due to the fact we got a surcharge fee because we paid with a credit card ‍ In all these years, we NEVER had this Sorry guys, it's that or a tip. Looking for a elevated dining experience that is also very laid back? Harbor side is a place to stop by. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The service is a little timely, but when they get to your table are attentive and friendly. Check their specials, I tried the Cajun snapper and it was delightful! The coconut shrimp is also a well hitter. But the Oreo cheesecake took it home. The waterfront views are breathtaking. There are also boat tours / dinner boat tours available so looking forward to checking that out in the future! Highly recommend stopping by this gem of a spot. Fancy for no reason in my opinion. It is a hard combination of boatside fancy in a causal area. The view is amazing and restaurant is clean. I wish they stayed with a more causal vibe and reasonable pricing rather than upscale everything. The salad I got was pretty limited on flavor and not very filling in my opinion. Probably better for a fancy dinner occasion than just pulling up for a casual lunch after a boat day. Wanted something a bit cheaper and more casual for midday boating. We had the hush puppy appetizer which was good (especially the sauce), a dinner salad (that was huge) and our entrees ( Mahi for her and a New York Strip for me) followed by the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, the team service was spot on and the atmosphere can't be beat. Definitely will be back. Beautiful location, great drinks, average food. I wanted to love this place. It has great Yelp reviews and is located right on the water. The drinks were very good, service was super friendly, it was the food that fell short. Here's what we got and what we thought. My husband started with the harborside margarita, which was great. He then decided to get a fishbowl margarita. It's 52 oz so it's huge. It was only $15 which was stunning for that amount. He couldn't finish it and left about 1/3. I got a watermelon smash. It has a good amount of alcohol and was delicious. I'd probably branch out and try something else, but it was pretty good. For food we started with the meatballs. It's all beef and was the highlight of the meal. The kids loved the bread it came with. I got a lobster roll and found it had too much dressing to let the lobster shine. It was $30 and disappointing. The coleslaw was ok. My husband got a filet with a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad also had too much dressing. The filet was ok. I didn't love it but our younger son did eat a bit. My older son got the French bread pizza with fries and didn't like the pizza. I wasn't a fan either, the cheese tasted pretty meh to me. He ate some of the fries. Overall this place is great for the atmosphere but I don't think we'll be back soon because of the food. read more

Amazing seafood spot, this has made my first time ever truly liking white fish because it was so soft and buttery. The view of the lake is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Our servers Kaylee and Marco did amazing to make sure we got refills quick, kept checking up on us even when the place was fairly busy, and got our food out quick. 10/10 if I'm in winter haven I will be coming again!! read more

I wanted another one it was so good but I knew I wouldn't get through it. The wait staff is always incredibly friendly and does a great job of checking in with you. No introduction. No specials listed. She brought water and our drinks in a timely manner. We ordered. She brought out some stale bread and tasteless butter. Well, this was not a good start.... I ordered white fish and shrimp. The shrimp were so overcooked. The whitefish wasn't bad. Onion rings were good. Presentation was lacking for what seemed like a nice restaurant. My husband had the filet and loved it, as well as the chipotle pineapple margarita! The manager was present checking on tables. The Overall, I wouldn't come back. Took some NY friends to the newly reopened Harborside Restaurant last night. It's obvious people don't know it's reopened because it was only about a third full at 6 pm. Food arrived in a timely fashion. Eating utensils were missing from 2 settings forcing all of us to wait and we had to get up from the table to ask since servers were in the back. Onion rings were awesome and arrived hot with a great dipping sauce. This is a highly suggested appetizer. Coconut shrimp... not as much since it lacked seasoning. Stuffed flounder also lacked seasoning. My friend ordered the steak which was fine but salt needed to be added to the steaks and all the salads. $220 for 4 people which included 3 alcoholic drinks. All in all it was a pleasant expensive evening. We weren't by the window so ambiance is the same as it was before they closed for new owners. They do deserve another shot if you haven't been there under the new owners. read more

The service was good, but the food was not. First, we ordered the mozzarella appetizer and they were dark and almost crisp, which made them kind of hard. I got the filet and it was very tender but had zero taste. Never had a steak like that before. I only took a few bites and didn't want to eat it. I ended up taking it home, to let my husband have it for breakfast the next day. He said the same thing about having no taste and didn't eat it. We ended up throwing it away. It had no taste at all. What a waste. And he had salmon which he said was overcooked and dry. We didn't complain or say anything, because it was Mother's Day. This is a restaurant located right off one of the chain of lakes in Winterhaven. They do have a dock so if you're out on the water and want to dock up and eat, there's plenty of space to do that. I came here with my family for a lunch after being out on the water. We did not have a reservation and we were seated right away. The restaurant itself is large with that said they're usually is no way to be seated most of the seating inside the restaurant has a view of the lake. They also have outside seating The menu isn't too large, but man everything that I tasted was delicious! I recommend getting the gator bites for an appetizer. I had the grouper sandwich blackened with fries. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh my mother-in-law had the blackened grouper meal. It was also delicious and a very good size portion of fish. We were here celebrating my son's birthday with a party of eight. When we first sat down, we were not given menus so eventually, I just went to the hostess stand and got them myself. Our server was attentive, but it seemed to take a while to get our drinks. My sangria was probably the best sangria I've ever had. It was just light, fruity and just hit right. My mahi tacos were flavorful. Several of our party had steaks which were cooked just right. The big catch fish sandwich was delicious as well as the grouper sandwich. The french fries were exceptionally crispy and tasty. When we first got there, it was a little difficult to hear each other because the acoustics are not good. The boy, like me, got the ahi tuna starter, we love everything about the dish except for the "Asian coke slaw" . The slaw lacks flavor and just tastes like a ginger sliced cabbage, needs tweaking. Wifey got the salmon and filet: this Filet was for me and it was requested medium and came out med rare, but I like a rare steak every now and again so I just ate it. The salmon was a bit dry and did not flake easily. Baked potato was great!!! All in all for 5 starters, 4 drinks, 1 Marg for Wifey and the two entrees, it was $179 for the 5 of us the splurge on a Father's Day dinner!!! We love this place, been here many times and what I come to find is for price and good food we'll most likely stick with starts only next time as everyone always enjoys them!!! The family went to Harbourside December 24th to celebrate our sons and daughter in laws wedding. There were seven of us . We made a reservation at 7 pm and were there ten minutes early . My son checked in and we were greeted right away and told our table was ready and waiting. The place was busy and I was pleasantly surprised as I heard walk ups being told it was a 30-40 min wait . It's a great location on one of the local lakes with plenty of seating and great views . We were greeted at the table by out primary waitress "Latasha" I say primary as she had help running food . Latasha was on the ball as she took our drink order immediately after seating . We ordered cocktails, beer , and a bottle of wine. And five minutes later the drinks were on the table a cork was being popped and we were toasting the new bride and groom . Without hesitation Latasha was on the appetizer order . We ordered a couple dozen oysters, fried gator bites, lobster bites, and Dunkin'' mussels . By that time I was about to order another drink and Latasha was already reading the table and walked up with a refill on my beer and my dons beer and took another order from everyone else . Along with our entrée order.. I ordered the sea bass as did both my sons, my wife had the crab cakes and the brides mom had the salad with mahi topping, and her husband had the sirloin. It was all fantastic. Came promptly within 15 minutes of ordering we had a remarkable dinner. The service was unbelievable and.I could say enough about Latasha . She did an absolutely fantastic job and even though the food was great and cooked perfectly, Latasha busted it out and really made the experience even better . We really wanted to like this place. It has a great view, with the ability to have fresh air "outdoor" seating without being exposed to the bugs or the rain. The food was mediocre. The lobster roll was $35 and the lobster was dry. I couldn't even eat half of it because it just didn't eat right. The coleslaw tasted off. During a recent visit to Central Florida to see my Mom, she recommended this place as she'd been there before with friends...what a great find! We sat on their enclosed patio area, right down near the water's edge, giving us a glorious view of the lake and the upcoming sunset. Our server was a gem, very attentive and pleasant to interact with. The table ordered a round of drinks as we perused the menu for our dinner choices. I settled on the shrimp trio, which came with a side salad and a baked potato as my selections. We ate the warm, fluffy bread in the complimentary basket that was brought out to us and shortly thereafter our salads arrived. It was a heart portion but not overly so. My shrimp trio consisted of fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp and an herb grilled shrimp and then served with cocktail sauce and an interesting key lime & dill tartar sauce that I quite liked.
