Honestly, this may be a waste of time, but after reading the other reviews, it seems there is a…read morerecurring pattern of poor training and a lack of management involvement. My daughter accidentally placed her breakfast order at the wrong location. We explained the mistake to the employee at the drive-thru window, and I acknowledged that it was our error. I was not expecting special treatment, but I would have appreciated a little customer service. The employee simply said she would notify the other location, told us to have a good day, and closed the window. There was no offer to help us correct the mistake or even ask if we wanted to place a new order at that location. I would have gladly paid for breakfast a second time at the correct location. The issue was not the mistake itself; it was the complete lack of effort to help resolve it. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, a little courtesy, common sense, and customer service can make all the difference. Based on the other reviews, I hope management takes a closer look at the training employees receive and the overall customer experience.

The only place I'll ever drive 45 minutes to get their Carrot Cake!…read moreWe were headed to Orlando and decided to make a quick detour for carrot cake once again. It was a Saturday and I forgot the market was going on so it was a bit busy but always worth the wait. Honestly, I didn't think there would be any left the way the Line was looking, but luckily when I got to the front, they still had carrot cake left. I ordered a slice and waited patiently for my name to be called. Once it was ready, I picked it up and it was already made for to go, but I decided to eat in house. This carrot cake is so unbelievably delicious. It's filled with pineapples, walnuts, and everything you could dream of. Will always be my favorite!

Parlor Doughnuts in Lakeland, FL -- Come for the doughnuts, stay because you've made a new friend…read more My husband and I walked into Parlor Doughnuts around 10:30 in the morning with absolutely NO idea what kind of doughnut we wanted. None. Zero. We stood there studying the menu like it was a major life decision. Thankfully, there wasn't a line behind us, because we probably took a good 10 minutes trying to figure out our doughnut destiny. And the wonderful woman working the counter was SO patient, friendly and helpful. Honestly, she didn't just help us choose doughnuts -- she probably could have helped us figure out our lives, too. And if she ever decides to get into real estate, I'm telling you now -- this gal could sell some houses! She was that engaging and personable. We told her what we liked, and she worked with us. I love peanut butter, and she told me she had a little bit left, so she made me a fresh doughnut with it. It was absolutely delicious. My husband likes very plain doughnuts, so she made him a "Plain Jane" and even offered to add a little sugar or honey. He politely declined because apparently he wants his doughnut to be as plain as humanly possible. We also grabbed a few of their smaller doughnuts, which were only 65¢ each. Everything was incredibly fresh, and there were probably a dozen or so varieties available that morning. Some had already sold out, but here's the cool part: if they have the ingredients, they'll work with you and make what they can. Especially on a slower morning, it felt like such a personal experience. The doughnuts were so fresh that my pictures honestly don't do them justice. The shop itself is also really nice. There's parking around downtown if you look for the free spots, music playing overhead (hello, 60s! ), plenty of tables, couches and comfortable spaces. It would be a great little place to sit and work, too. And the air-conditioning was PERFECT -- not freezing, not roasting. Just right. So if you're in Lakeland, come support this local doughnut shop. The doughnuts are fresh, the people are wonderful, and you might even walk out with a new favorite doughnut... or a new real estate agent. Parlor Doughnuts -- definitely worth a stop!

We spoke with somebody other customers that were sitting near us and they all complimented how delicious the food was. They have a variety of lattes and other coffee extras. Can't wait to go back or maybe take out the Danish that we got was $5 which is a meal in itself. The chorizo egg taco was $4 and I would get it again. We didn't realize till later that day had outside eating under a tarp in the back. I could see where parking might be an issue since it's limited but they said we can park across the street at the church. But if you park behind at the medical building security will have the car towed. The other people that we talk to that we're eating there where they said this was our first time here also said they wish they would have stopped sooner which is our feeling also.
