Adorable açaí bowl spot on the north side of Lakeland. They renovated a building that sat empty for years, WOW what an impressive improvement. The seating area was decorated nicely and very clean, bathrooms were in immaculate condition as well! Service was quick and the prices were reasonable. I'm very excited to see what the future has in store for Jona Bells.

We have been planning to try this place out since we've seen the name change but never knew if it was open. The outside is deceiving. Don't let that make your opinion about it! It is huge and beautiful inside!! I ordered a chicken salad croissant for my kids and a strawberry banana smoothie. I really appreciate that the smoothies aren't full of sugar added to them! My kids loved it. I ordered a small açaí bowl for myself and a white chocolate cappuccino. This was the best cappuccino I've ever had! The açaí bowl was fresh and delicious! My kids favorite part was the games. I haven't seen Rampage since I was a kid and they played it the whole time we were there. Theres also a table with several games to choose from- all old Nintendo games from when I was a kid! Super awesome. We played Donkey Kong and Mrs. Pac-Man! We will definitely come back! It also looks like they're adding an outside patio area and I'm hoping they might have live music. Really cute place!!

Lakeland, go check out Jona Bells. What a gem! The açaí ("ah-sigh-ee") bowls are delicious and the fresh juices are divine. The staff is helpful and friendly. Plus, it's gorgeous! I love that they are just down the street and we don't have to travel 20 minutes for tasty and healthy foods. Go support them so they'll be here forever! PS - if you haven't tried acai berry, what are you waiting for? They are a Brazilian superfood packed with antioxidants. These help reduce oxidative stress and benefit nearly ever bodily system, control blood sugar, protect against the damaging effects of stress, etc. Go try one at Jona Bells!

Speedy checkout and friendly service!

What an exciting new spot here in north Lakeland. I like to stop by on work days to grab coffee and a sugar free açaí bowl. They've got some great roasts, plenty of non-milk alternatives, and even some matcha. The murals on the walls are stunning! They have comfy seating for coffee chats and a cool couple of arcade games in the corner. Staff is friendly, plenty of parking and Apple Pay options available. Joni and team have fun experimenting with the juices and cooking up delicious food. Their croissants are another favorite (baked in house!). Would love to see a frittata or egg-based option on their menu some day. Stop by and support this local gem!

This place has the potential for greatness. It's sorely needed in this area (though was hard to find for someone not from this area). It is decorated beautifully & modern. It's hours are 8 to 6, meeting breakfast, light lunch & supper needs. My acai bowl was fresh & delicious. (For the older set there should be some help on what an acai bowl is, as not everyone asks.) I appreciated no blasting music, which made me decide to eat in rather than grab 'n go. On the suggestions side: The lighting was funky and dark for me. The pastries were hard to see (& looked old, were high priced for small items). The latte in a glass for dine-in is much smaller than the to-go size. They should be equal servings if the same price and not all ice. The service did not appear friendly & welcoming. After ringing & serving my items the barista went to the back laughing and messing around with whomevere was back there, leaving me alone in the empty restaurant for my entire meal (meaning no seconds, no to go option, no check-ins, no idle chatter to encourage return, etc). Frankly, I can get all those things at other places a little cheaper without driving off the beaten path. I was glad to have stopped in and try them, but will not likely return. Expanding their marketing and customer service will gain the return clientele and a busier location.

It's very pretty and photogenic inside. Everything is clean and stylized. The drinks and food options are good. Not too many, not too few. The options were different without being crazy. We ordered chicken croissant which came with a salad. Taste was great. Size was bigger then expected. I Can see this place being a really great lunch or hangout spot. They had 2 arcade games. Easy parking. What's nice, is there really isn't anything like this in this area. The staff was friendly and you can tell they are happy.

Favorite place to go out and buy myself a nice coffee. Better than Starbucks I have to say, I will most definitely come back.

Beautiful mural!

This place is a hidden gem. The owners and staff of it are so pleasant you don't want to leave. Very nice smiling faces nice cool beautiful restaurant. Fresh fresh fresh even the plastic spoon was fresh. I will definitely be back. PS best coffee I've ever had and bowl, give them a try. I'll definitely be back.

Testing out a typical acai bowl

Best coffee and acai in lakeland . Coffee is brought in fresh roasted weekly and acai is directly imported from Brazil. Oh they also have cold pressed juices made in house !!! Such a hidden gem

Açaí Bowl

Wow, wow, wow!!! AMAZING!!!!! I am a number one fan of açaí and not all places that sell açaí make it good. But JonaBells' açaí is the best I've ever tasted, the granola is still delicious, the fruits are super fresh. It is simply delicious!!!

Parlor Doughnuts in Lakeland, FL -- Come for the doughnuts, stay because you've made a new friend…read more My husband and I walked into Parlor Doughnuts around 10:30 in the morning with absolutely NO idea what kind of doughnut we wanted. None. Zero. We stood there studying the menu like it was a major life decision. Thankfully, there wasn't a line behind us, because we probably took a good 10 minutes trying to figure out our doughnut destiny. And the wonderful woman working the counter was SO patient, friendly and helpful. Honestly, she didn't just help us choose doughnuts -- she probably could have helped us figure out our lives, too. And if she ever decides to get into real estate, I'm telling you now -- this gal could sell some houses! She was that engaging and personable. We told her what we liked, and she worked with us. I love peanut butter, and she told me she had a little bit left, so she made me a fresh doughnut with it. It was absolutely delicious. My husband likes very plain doughnuts, so she made him a "Plain Jane" and even offered to add a little sugar or honey. He politely declined because apparently he wants his doughnut to be as plain as humanly possible. We also grabbed a few of their smaller doughnuts, which were only 65¢ each. Everything was incredibly fresh, and there were probably a dozen or so varieties available that morning. Some had already sold out, but here's the cool part: if they have the ingredients, they'll work with you and make what they can. Especially on a slower morning, it felt like such a personal experience. The doughnuts were so fresh that my pictures honestly don't do them justice. The shop itself is also really nice. There's parking around downtown if you look for the free spots, music playing overhead (hello, 60s! ), plenty of tables, couches and comfortable spaces. It would be a great little place to sit and work, too. And the air-conditioning was PERFECT -- not freezing, not roasting. Just right. So if you're in Lakeland, come support this local doughnut shop. The doughnuts are fresh, the people are wonderful, and you might even walk out with a new favorite doughnut... or a new real estate agent. Parlor Doughnuts -- definitely worth a stop!

Great location though the parking is a little sus. Beware where you park…read more The Maple Bacon doughnut is, mmm! The coffee is above average. It is very welcoming as soon as you walk in and the people were great. I love their doughnuts. It is always a great to come here.
