We sat at the one table on the front porch. The traffic was a bit loud because it is 'Main Street' after all. Suggest maybe a side patio eventually. We ate our lunches then wanted to stroll the town a bit before coffee. We were ready to pay and come back but the woman helping us told us to go ahead and walk and just come back when we're ready. WHAT? I know business owners probably need to be cautious and suspicious, but she was genuine and trusted us to return, which we of course did, with a third person, my husband who joined us. We then ordered two coffees & and an iced coffee. Only after our drinks were served did we realize we had returned and ordered our coffees at 1:55, and they close at 2PM. They didn't let on in the least that we were keeping them. No hairy eyeball, no tapping foot. This place was wonderful. The atmosphere is amazing both inside and outside. Inside has a beautiful rustic-chic feel, plus a cute little market at the front. You can order drinks outside, and they also offer a smaller, convenient outdoor food menu. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. The dine-in menu might seem somewhat limited at first, but I've genuinely never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The chicken I ordered was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The presentation of everything is beautiful. They also have gluten-free options, which I really appreciate. I haven't tried the outdoor food menu yet, but I definitely hope to! The service has also consistently been great. The staff are always so warm and welcoming and really add to the experience. At first, I was a bit horrified when I saw them pumping two shots of syrup into it as I never put sugar in my drinks, but it turned out perfectly. The drink was only slightly sweet with a really pleasant, subtle lavender flavor. It did cost $7, but overall it was a very tasty drink that I thoroughly enjoyed. They have a lot of unique-looking specialty drinks on the menu, so I definitely look forward to going back and trying more. The shop itself is located in a really cute town. The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.
