I walked into this location and ALL of the people working said good morning to me. I have never had so much attention at a Starbucks; they made me feel so special! I ordered a Grande Pike and noticed that it looked a little light. I added my cream and sweet and low and sipped... yuck. It tasted like sweet water. No coffee flavor at all. I don't like to complain, but I could not drink my coffee, it was just too light. I advised the lady at the counter of my unhappiness and she offered to brew a fresh batch. I declined and asked if I could pay the difference and just get an Americano. The manager (Pammy, I think) got involved and I was not charged for my upgrade. The apology from the staff was sincere and they did not make me feel bad at all. They seemed like they just wanted to make their customer happy. Mission accomplished! Drive thru fast, the barista was very nice and helpful. I was not sure about going here because of the negative reviews but we're on the go and it was the nearest one off the highway. Good service, but unfortunately they totally messed up my drink order. My drink was not made correctly. It tasted completely bland, like it was watered down or something. Either too much ice, or not enough syrup. Whatever the reason why my drink sucked, I'm disappointed. Just stopped by as I was passing down the 99. I definitely won't be back. read more

Those that know me know I love my Starbucks... however today's experience was ridiculous!! I approached the drive thru which was full, & contemplated going inside, but alas that is rarely faster. Soon after I was blocked into the drive thru. I literally waited 35-40 minutes for 2 ice teas. When I got to the window I was left "waiting" another few minutes, despite my drinks just sitting there. I could see at least 4 workers inside & no one rushing to provide any service. When the girl came to the window, I said "do you realize your line is out the driveway & I just waited over 35 minutes!" She just said "yeaaaa." No apology, or any excuse was even offered, as they weren't to worried their customers were going anywhere.... adding insult, when I brought the ice tea home to my daughter they gave her pineapple instead of the peach tea I had ordered! I try to avoid my local Starbucks. Half the time my drinks don't taste the same & customer service doesn't compare to Starbucks on Caldwell & Demaree. When I order a Venti here looks like a Grande. Filled 1 inch from the top maybe a little more than an inch. I don't get this service from the Starbucks on Caldwell. read more

DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION. I walked in at 10:30pm 10/01/2020 and the girl at the counter angrily told me that they were closed as if I should've known they were closed. I told her that I would just use the restroom and leave, she told me again that they were closed and that no one could use the bathrooms anymore. I told her that the front door was open and that's why I walked in. She could've closed the front door and allowed me to use the bathroom since it was their mistake that the front door wasn't locked yet. She was so extremely rude and apparently they have issues at the location judging by their horrible ratings. I would recommend you keep driving to the next starbucks if you want coffee. I typically only leave good reviews on YELP but I had to address this girls rudeness. read more

When I asked why 6 other customers had gotten their drinks after us I was told they are faster with the teas and hot drinks. I'm sorry but you need more than just 2 staff making drinks. Last spring I had an issue with this place where my order never got filled because They were out of the syrup.... no big deal but no one told me. I was there for over 15 minutes.when I asked about it I felt dismissed. I asked to speak to the manager who stepped out of training right away to speak to me. I shared my concern over the lack of communication skills his staff had, especially with each other. He acknowledged the issue and insisted he would provide effective and immediate coaching. This is a nice Starbucks location. There is plenty of seating, though most of it is regular wooden chairs, not the large leather chairs that Starbucks is so well known for. There are not a whole lot of electrical outlets, but some enterprising employee in the store has attached the most amazing surge protector / power strip I have ever seen which now provides electrical outlets all the way down one wall making it convenient for anyone and everyone to plug their computers in. If I hadn't forgotten my phone at home, I'd have taken a picture of it to prove how amazing it was. And, as always, the wifi is free. Tables to rest your computers on, conveniently located free power sources, and free wifi? The only way they could cater to us even more would be to give us the coffee for free. There was light jazz playing throughout the restaurant and along with the low lighting it created a rather relaxing atmosphere which I'm not convinced was truly being appreciated by the people hanging out here, all of whom had their noses deep into their computer screens. I ordered a nutella latte which is not on the menu but is oh so tasty. I ordered a venti misto with 3 pumps each of hazelnut, caramel, and mocha and then added two packets of sugar in the raw (the brown packets). It was heavenly, just heavenly. I wish I'd had my phone with me to take a picture of the trash/recycle bin. It was one bin with two holes. Under the first hole it stated it was for recyclables which they specified as cups, lids, and paper. Over the second hole it stated "landfill". Now, that makes one stop a moment and think. Do I REALLY want this to go to a landfill, or should I recheck the list of what qualifies as recyclable on the other side? I don't remember ever having seen one of these trash/recycle bins before, though very often I am grabbing my drinks to go and not disposing of them onsite. Anyway, I threw the sugar packets in there once they were empty as they qualified as recyclable and felt suitably guilty throwing away the wooden coffee stirring stick in the landfill hole and it was not listed as a recyclable. I went to Starbucks on J st. In Tulare, store 27214 I ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew. I told the gentleman at the drive thru window this wasn't what I had ordered. He didn't seem to care. I payed took a drink and it was definitely not what I had ordered. O couldn't even enjoy my drink. I was very upset. Drove down to the Starbucks on prosperity st. Store 6743. I walk In and Ruben was taking the orders at the register he seen I had the drink in my hand and apologized thinking they messed my drink up. I explained to him what happened. He right away had my drink remade without hesitation. He apologized on their behalf. So I find out that Ruben is the store manager at this location. So Ruben THANK YOU!! For amazing customer service and taking care of your customers. This is my go to Starbucks now I know not to go elsewhere. Drive thru lane was way too long (not the employees fault) BUT they were extremely Slooooow (which I DO attribute to the employees) & after waiting in line for 15-20 minutes I find out they are out of soy for my chai latte. Unfortunately I am allergic to dairy... No alternative drink option (nothing suggested or even offered except the phoniest sounding apology I have heard in a long time) but I don't drink black coffee & if I want a cup of plain tea, I can boil water & steep a bag myself, without wasting my time & for a lot less money. Not only was all my drinks wrong but they didn't have the yogurt I ordered. One girl went to go look in the back but Nicole yelled at her and said we don't have any only the lemon. This drive-thru can guarantee a wait, but there's no guarantee on that cup o' gold! While they usually serve up a perfect White Chocolate Mocha with extra whipped cream ($4.55) - more than once the Chocolate Croissant I want to dip in it is less than perfect ($1.95.) Give that croissant some lotion because it is DRY! And not in the good, flaky croissant kinda way - in the bad way. When you serve a pastry at 5:28 a.m. and it's dry - you obviously aren't serving a fresh pastry. And if it's day-old, I want it at half-price. Come on, now.... tsk tsk, Starbucks.
