I've been a regular customer at this Starbucks for years because it's close to my workplace. However, on November 11, I had an unpleasant experience at the drive-thru. The tall,big male employee working at the window around morning was very rude and unprofessional. When I called the store to speak with the manager about it, I was put on hold without any explanation and then the call was disconnected. Fast service and good proportions of ice. Great ambience for studying. Came here to write while my son studied for school. Most Starbucks put tons of ice in their dragon drinks and I find myself chewing on ice more than drinking or eating dragon fruit. Yesterday I ordered through the drive thru and when I pulled up to the window I handed the woman some money and asked her to add it to my card so I could get stars to go towards my reward points. I guess she was either too lazy or just plain stupid bc she took my cash and scanned my card having me think she added it but didn't. Totally the barista did not pay attention to the order. The order was for two med Java chips double blended. My wife and I both received our coffees that were not even frozen just runny. There was no way they were double blended because the choc. chips kept clogging the straw. I love my Starbox treats but if thats the treatment and service we will receive I will fulfill my coffee sweet-tooth elsewhere. Just spent 11 days in the ICU and was disappointed enough to return them but I was not driving. Bright and cheerful cafe to grab a quick drink. Baristas are nice. They input my order wrong at first-- an honest mistake since there's two frappes with "chip" in it. They were quick to remedy that though! Thanks guys :) Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino || $6.05 Got a Venti frappe with a shot of espresso (+80cents) and whipped cream. They added a small drizzle of chocolate syrup on top as well. Happy that I didn't get any unblended chunks of ice. My drink was smooth with just a hint of coffee -- you'd want to get 3 or more shots if you really want that coffee flavor to shine. I was expecting a mouth-splosion of chocolate-- hey, it's double chocolate after all, right? Sadly, the frappe isn't that chocolate-y, so I'll probably avoid this flavor in the future. read more

I apologize ahead for the length of this review, but feel the background is important enough to include. If management reads this, you can skip to the end for the really egregious event that triggered it. This location has been hit and miss since it opened, never consistent altho I order the same drink: double tall Cappuccino. When they get it right, it's awesome, but every other time, it would be an over-milked latte. It got to the point I would pause when ordering and add "...as in Cap, not Latte." Except that would confuse them, and we would go down a rabbit hole of "so do you want your Cap dry?". No, I just want a normal cap. *sigh* That's not why I'm posting, tho. I learned a long time ago the best way to get my coffee the way I like is to make it myself. I have a wonderful steam-style Krups mini that does a great job, and I always buy Starbucks brand coffee for it, because at least they are consistent with that. Except the last time: hubby did the drive-thru at this location, asked for a dark roast, ground for espresso (yes, we have a grinder but I'm lazy & hate the sound it makes). The staffer handed him a bag, which he peeked at to confirm it had been ground, and found it was "Blonde Espresso", which he asked about. The server claimed it was "just the name" and essential shone him on. He reluctantly brought it home and when I showed him the rating on the side (see picture) became, shall we say, annoyed. This has been my go to Starbucks for YEARS! But for the past couple of weeks their service has gone to S**T!!! Getting my coffee is now a drag because although I place a mobile order ahead of time tienen I show up it is still not ready. I had to wait 10 minutes at the drive-thru window for a mobile order that I had placed 20 minutes before showing up! This is ridiculous! Mind you I'm typing this review as i wait for my order. I am very patient and I understand things happen but it's been the same issue for the past couple of weeks. I will not be coming back to this store. I really hope a manger reads this and addresses the situation. I've noticed a lot of new staff so this could be the reason. I don't know but it is ridiculous. Please go to a different store. This is my favorite Starbucks location....ever! I specifically go out of my way to come to this one if possible because the drive thru has always been the quickest whenever I'm there (which is often) and the staff are super sweet and some of them are pretty hilarious. Great service! read more

The wait might be longer than other locations nearby but they always make my drink the same way no matter what time of day or who is currently on shift. This is a relatively new location and a great spot for a Starbucks. I've come here at all different times of day and there is usually no drive thru line or a very short one. Here's the Starbucks Checklist: Baristas are quick & very friendly. Inside line is typically short. Drive thru is quick and normally short/no line. Plenty of parking. One of the two newest Starbucks that has opened up in my area. This is located off Western Ave and Torrance Bl. This was recently Enterprise Rental Cars. This SB was built pretty fast too. It's a pretty good size inside much bigger than it looks from the outside. There is also a drive through here as well. The baristas were pretty cool and friendly. It was empty tonight so I'll have to see how it is on the weekends. Parking is not too big so it can get filled up fast but I think street parking on the side street may be ok. Overall a pretty good spot the only problem will be dealing with rush hour traffic on Western and on Torrance Bl it can bottle up sometimes and trying to get out of here could take a while. read more

For the last 2 years I have been coming here about 2-3 times a week, recently not as much but unfortunately the last 2 times I've come here my coffee hasn't been very good. I always get a grande white mocha so I know what it should taste like and now today about 1/4 of my cup empty. One of my favorite Starbucks locations. It opened less than a year ago so everything is really nice and new. The lobby is pretty big, clean and never too crowded. There's also plenty of outside seating. It also has a drive-thru so that's probably a plus for a lot of people. I prefer ordering inside though; I find drive thrus to be a hassle. Plus there's plenty of parking spots. As for the service- the employees are friendly, quick, and they consistently make my drink right. They warm the food up properly, so I never end up biting into a bantam bagel with a cold center, (unlike some other Starbucks locations..) Don't let some of those 1 and 2 star reviews deter you- most of them were posted around when they had just opened and were still getting settled in. read more

Crappy Customer Service & Shift lead showed No Interest in hearing my complaint. I regularly come to this location, mostly in the mornings never Once had I had an issue. First, No greeting at walk in. I greeted the person at the register 3 times before he could answer me with a Low toned "hi". zero eye contact. I asked him if he was having a bad day. He answered me "no" My respond back was, "Ooookaay" and proceeded to give him my order. He didn't even give me a total, I guess he expected me to just look at the register. I scanned my phone, and end of conversation. I asked another barista who the Shift Lead was and he pointed him out to me. I asked him if I can have a few words with him regarding on how I was treated as I walked in & while placing my order. When addressing the issue & reminding the shift lead that what I had experience was Not to Starbucks standards, HE also had no eye contact with me & simply said, "well I've never had issues with him before." Well little do they know that Starbucks may 1 day have an unidentified corporate personnel show up ( maybe me) to see how the store functions. Store cranks its music to obnoxiously loud levels and won't turn it down. Headphones won't do anything, and 10 feet from a speaker maxes out my microphone levels. They seem to think they're running a rave. Just make this a drive thru only location if you don't want people inside. Another "git yer coffee and git out" location. I've been coming to this location for years. The drive thru line was long so I went inside. 25 minutes for an iced coffee is ridiculous

When I come to this location I always manage to get great service. One particular barista by the name of Bobb took my order via the drive thru window and provided excellent service. He is very friendly and for sure customer service skilled. Not only does he take your order but he offers you other items to go with whatever you order to where you cant refuse. It's no pressure but a friendly way of of him offering you other items. I will for sure come back to their location for future beverages. Thanks Bobb for your superb service you Rock!!!!!! read more

Good customer service and greeting but the drinks are hit or miss. I usually order the Iced Americano with salted cream foam but the added too little of the foam and it didn't have the salt taste to it. Also, they didn't cover my lid tightly which resulted a spill in my car. read more
