Friendly staff who were able to show me their dairy free options! Very clean location! Parking is available 20 minutes free on the road or 1.25 every 20 minutes (just double check the time and days if the week in case it changes) Dessert was very fresh and served in sustainable packaging! Drink was also a delight with almond milk. Dessert with 2 12 oz drinks cost $20 but it's a more premium brand which shows with its taste (just maybe Not an everyday treat for the wallet)

Great Vibe, Disappointing Espresso (from an ex-Barista)…read moreStepped into this spot looking to grab some genuinely good coffee. As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

Despite it being end of day, it wasn't stale or hard to eat. Thw outside was still flaky and crispy, while the inside layers were still moist and soft. The cream inside was a burst of flavor. I had cut the croissants in half based on the outer chocolate dip location and thought the tiramisu one was lacking filling, only to discover it all hiding in one of the halves lol

I feel like they could either cook it to be more moist or store it better, and for sure don't add salt to something already salty. I visited yesterday evening at ~8:50PM after watching a movie as I was starving and tired and needed a little something for the commute home in north east Scarborough. Service was friendly and the staff was helpful with my questions. The store has booth - chair table seating so you could sit with just 2 people at a time at a table or join the tables for larger groups. Their bakery brand (Bake Code) features a variety of innovated desserts and baked breads. They have several different ongoing promotions, like if you buy 6+ buns, you pay no tax. If you buy 5 buns, you get one free. End of day sale for buns is 25% OFF. They have a VIP card for $20 that gives you 10% off buns on every visit for a year. The Taiwanese sausage bun was featured as the bun of the month. The promotions do not stack so you get the best available deal. In my case, it was the 25% off. 2 of the savoury croissants we had were just crispy dry. When I eat a croissant, I expect something moist and buttery. This was neither. I don't live in the area so I won't be back for the goods. Maybe the drinks.

It had everything I look for: not too noisy, moderate foot traffic, decent seating, great lighting (no glare headaches!), accessible outlets, and good music at the right volume. Food and drinks are tasty and affordable, and the windows add a nice touch for some sunlight/view of the outdoors. Service is friendly, and they let you sit for hours without feeling rushed. Even the washroom was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Although it's not an area I usually visit because Highway 7 in Woodbridge can be hectic, the café was easy to find, and parking in the plaza was sufficient. The only minor inconvenience was needing to make a U-turn since there's no direct light into the plaza. We arrived around 7:15 AM and were the only ones there. There were a good number of customers that stayed and others that did grab n' go during our 5-hour study session. The space was spotless, including the accessibility-friendly washroom. Rob, the barista, was friendly, responsive, and helpful with drink recommendations. I ordered a large iced Lotus latte--good overall, though I personally would've loved a stronger Biscoff flavour. My friend enjoyed her matcha latte as well. They also offer sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream. Overall, a great café find and an excellent study spot. Would definitely return!

Service I experienced wasn't too wonderful I came in there were two people behind the counter and neither looked up at say hi or greet me. Then when I ordered the server's attitude felt like he was annoyed and kept asking me the same question when I was answering so I had to raise my voice cause it seems he was having a hard time understanding what give me a second meant. I ordered a regular size iced strawberry matcha. It was good it's my first time having a strawberry matcha. It was semi sweet, cold and refreshing. You can taste both the matcha and the strawberry it's a good balance. I would love to try their other drinks and maybe the gelato one day. Hopefully the barista is in a better mood. As other customers came in I began to see it's the norm to not greet customers

You can also get 5 and get one FREE! I love a good deal / promotion. This was my first time trying the Pandan dessert and the two savory options. Everything was so good. The sweet buns were the freshest buns I've ever had. They were stretchy, light, airy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Similar to a doughnut without any of the heaviness. There was a steady flow of customers and I chatted with a few. They all commented on fresh and delicious the food was here. There's a reason people keep coming back. I loved the atmosphere and warmth I felt in this family run business.
