I often stop at this Starbucks while in the area. Here lately like the other store, the lines are long, service fast, and baristas friendly. Before the pandemic, the store was often untidy, cluttered with boxes stored in one area of the stores. Today, the stores have been remodeled and cluttered free. On the day of visit, I purchased a peppermint white mocha Frappuccino with extra peppermint. The drink was simply delicious. just yesterday I went to this Starbucks and I really enjoyed it. I got the Hot Chocolate which was just ok, but the rest of my items looked pretty nice. I got my food fairly quick and didn't have to worry about the quality. The employees were very nice and thoughtful to us customers. The only thing is that makes this a 4-star is that there aren't a lot of tables to sit at compared to the other Starbucks in that area. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. read more

This Starbucks is in a great spot with pretty easy access off 2 main roads in Tinley here which can make it easy to get in and out. The employees are usually friendly, my coffee is almost always made perfect if it's not perfect it's just slightly off, I don't make complicated orders either I just get basic drinks that are on the board. Once you're in the drive through there's no way out. So better make sure you have time to wait cuz you're committed once you get in line, if there is one and often the wait can be a long one. That's the only downside to this location. read more

Terrible customer service. I arrived at 10 pm and they close at 1030 pm. Waited in line for 45 minutes for them to just lock the window and not say anything to me & all the customers behind me. They just avoided making eye contact with me and didn't have the common courtesy to say 'hey were closed but thanks for waiting 45 minutes.' They should honor those who arrived 30 minutes before closing. Terrible customer service. read more

I have been here a handful of times within the past year or year and a half and the service is always poor. I typically don't leave poor reviews unless behavior is repeated multiple times, so here I am. Many times at this location cashiers have started me down, not in a suggestive way, but in a way that feels patronizing and cold. I have always felt unwelcome at this location and I'm not sure if it's just us or if others share this experience. They also take a while to make the drinks sometimes. Just now they forgot about one of my acai refreshers when I ordered 2 acai refreshers and had just made small talk with the clerk about how I need electrolyte and they made the one right then, but then forgot the other, and it is not busy. How do you forget the second one after you just made the first one? I waited for a while for my second refresher because I wasn't sure if the first one they put out was mine because they did make it very promptly, I'll give them that. So I waited for a while for my 2nd refresher and it got to a point I saw employees had stopped making drinks for a while and were doing side work. They probably assumed I was a part of the protest [when I was waiting on the 2nd refresher and hadn't grabbed the first one for a while because like I said I wasn't sure if it was mine, especially because they didn't put 2 acai refreshers together] when I sat at the table waiting. I mean, I probably should be, but admittedly I can be a bit hedonistic sometimes. The girl was looking annoyed and that's also why I assume they assumed I was a part of it. Then, when I finally went up and asked about the 2nd refreshes, the way she answered me was kind of short and weird idk how to explain, which was weird because I thought they would be happy that that wasn't what was going on and that they had just made a mistake and forgot a refresher rather than another customer wasting food. Since I got a little caught up describing today's experience, let me now tell you why my previous visits over the past 12-18 months ago this location was wonky, aside from the being started down and grimaced at each time. They also often say that they do not have pumpkin spice even when it is in season or VERY close to season. My experience with every other starbucks location has always been that they are more than happy to fix me a pumpkin spice latte even if it IS out of season, which was nice because the first time I tried it outside of season I was a little shy that it may be annoying. But at this location, even during season they will not have pumpkin spice. I know demand is a factor as many people want their PSLs when they're in season, but this combined with the staring and being grimaced at thing strikes me as this isn't because of demand for PSLs and supplies, but rather, some kind of attitude? And I am not sure why. I remember a few times from last Halloween that this location did not have pumpkin spice even when it was DEFINITELY in season. I only keep accidentally coming to this location because they have good reviews for some reason, so if like me, you are checking for whichever Starbucks has good stars on your map, be advised that this one is inaccurate. read more

Like this Starbucks. They have a half dozen or so tables, and a few lounge chairs if you care to linger with your goods or meet up with someone. They also have lots of electrical outlets around the walls so you can bring your technology with you and plug in. They serve the usual good coffee and bakery items, and of course have all the normal impulse items to purchase - like bagged coffee and mugs/cups with the Starbucks logo on them. This facility has a nice drive-thru window, but it is a tight fit for some cars. We go here often as the people are nice and the service is fast. Give it a try. read more

It's so disappointing that I just got a large Cappuccino mocha. When I opened it to cool it off a little, it was missing 2/3 of the coffee... It's close to my house so I went there to save time. Mobile orders are made to not have to wait in a 30 minute drive thru line. Stood at the door talking to two employees about how I have to wait in a 20 car drive thru line for 1 coffee I pre ordered 20 minutes ago, and then told no refunds and to go to another location for my drink or call corporate. Not helpful at all and ironically could have just handed me my coffee while we spoke at the door for 5 minutes rather than giving a rude and ignorant excuse. We visited this location twice this week while in town... both times they were out of the Gouda breakfast sandwich (the only reason we were stopping) and both times they messed up our coffee order. This is the second time I've been here and the second time I've been disappointed. Today I was overcharged somehow. I'm not sure because I wasn't given a receipt. This location sucks! When you ask for light ice they either don't listen or they don't make a little more of the drink to compensate for the lack of ice. Other locations will but this one NEVER does! Also one time they never gave my friends debit card back in the drive thru and we didn't realize it until we were almost back home. Had to drive from Lagrange 131st all the way back to Harlem 159th. I've gotta give this location some props. Lately, it seems like they've managed to turn it around. All of the employees are super nice and surprisingly happy (for the most part)--that in itself is a big change. My drink is almost always perfect. The drive thru moves rather quickly and efficiently, especially around rush hour. Overall, I have to be honest and say that, almost a year later, I think this location has really turned around. This place has gone downhill since the old manager, Kat, left. I order travelers every two weeks and call ahead, 30-45 min advance. Lately, there have been mistakes every time I show up. For example, the traveler won't even be ready (coffee still brewing), the condiments won't be completed, the traveler will be overfilled causing dripping in my car or I request for a message to be written on the aide of the box and it's not done. Janet is the only person left from that store (I think), but I've gotta give love to my favorite baristas ever: Lauren (my Muse), Janet (my Guru of Mellow), Sarah (my joke tester), Gabby (my go-to for cheery and smiley), Jennifer (always sweet), Mary (my freckled Irish Rose), Kim (like my little sister), John (my partner in comedy), Laurie (mgr.), Sue (what a trooper!), Lindsey (deep waters, yet the fastest barista I've ever seen) and Vinessa (my other joke tester), especially for their ability to be nice to customers even when they're tired out, frazzled and just want to go home. I thoroughly enjoy each and every one of you for who you are, at least as far as I can tell, you're all pretty darn great! It's all "One Love" when I go here, and since that's what I give, that's what I get You always do right by me, you respond to me positively and tolerate me even when I'm not the easiest customer to help. You never treat me like you don't care, and that is why I go out of my way to come to see all of you in Tinley Park. I love to make people laugh, and we've shared a lot of them. You know I love the starbuck on 87 and state, but my job is in orland and this is the only starbucks on my way to work and to tell the truth I use to go out of my way and not come to this one because for the life of me they couldnt make a decent latte or frap..the frap always come out watery, too watery... I thought all starbucks where the same until I came across this one. I dont understand why they cant make a decent latte or frap and it doesnt matter what flavor I get. I come to this Starbucks location almost daily. There are 3 others close by to where I work but I usually choose to come to this one. The staff is super friendly and personable and I've never had an issue with my order. If you visit starbucks often, I would definitely recommend downloading the app; free items, you can order ahead of time so your items are ready by the time you get there, easily customize your order, and you get to really see the full menu. This is a small store located in a difficult to park in location (especially for my big butt van!). They didn't have my salad (don't carry 'em) or my Hippeas (don't carry those either!) and were out of Justin's Dark PB Cups... total bummer! This is my favorite Starbucks! They are ninja fast, very friendly and always consistent with how they make my drink. Nice outside area in the summer time and easy to get into.
