Staff is super nice & coffee is delicious, their few food items are also very good & fresh. A good place to sit & read, they have a lot of space in the back.

Small cafe in downtown tinley. The tiramisu latte and hot chocolate were good, but the matcha was a lot of milk and veryyy little matcha (the drink was almost all white). I would come back to try their afternoon tea with scones and jam.

Pekoe & Bean has a cute ambiance. However, the customer service was lackluster. Everyone has an off day but the person that took my order did not seem like she wanted to be there. The whole situation made me uncomfortable. I ordered a pistachio matcha ($7). Within 10 minutes (after the picture), the matcha powder was at the bottom of the cup and I didn't taste any flavor. I may give it another try and order something else if I'm in the area.

Pekoe & Bean is such a cute little cafe in Tinley! My friend and I came here for afternoon tea. The staff was so friendly and kind! They have huge rooms in the back for parties that people can rent out for special occasions or just because if you have a large group!

I've been wanting to try Pekoe & Bean for a while now and finally made it in recently! Loved the food and drink options! Definitely recommend the chicken noodle soup and cucumber sandwich! The service was great and it was a nice and quiet setting. I was surprised my little guy sat calmly in his chair and seemed to like the place too!

Fresh and delicious scones fruit, and tea!

Ya'll this place is amazing if you love a little vintage atmosphere. From the antique plate sets to the vintage chairs, everything felt so quaint. The food was delicious, healthy, and filled me up even though it consisted of finger foods. Additionally, the drinks were tasty. It only made it more appealing by being in mason jars and cozy mugs. The business is definitely eco-friendly when it comes to using less plastic (dining in). Only downside was that the waitress didn't come over as often and my friend had to go up to her and ask for an extra spoon. Other than that, she was sweet and helpful! Also, if you want to shop more vintage-like businesses, there is a nice thrift store and antique shop right next door!

I think I found heaven on earth. What a fun and amazing little spot?! Great atmosphere. Fantastic teas & coffee drinks. The scones!! They have two rooms you can rent for events. This is a great spot for a shower, ladies luncheon, birthday party... We'll be back for tea time soon.

Have been wanting to visit here for a while but I needed to take someone who would appreciate it as much as me :) so last week I invited one of my girlfriends who loves tea as much as me to go with. I made the appointment for 1pm yesterday for afternoon high tea . It was a beautiful experience. We sat and chatted and laughed and sipped and nibbled. So we got 1 afternoon tea to share so we could both try everything and a pot of earl grey tea . There was a nice variety on the savory tier (the black bean tacos and the turkey pesto sandwich were our favorites). The middle tier had a regular scone and a blueberry scone with clotted cream and lemon curd . We both enjoyed both. The top tier was our desserts (the strawberry shortcake parfait and the cookie were both our faves. The tea room was quint, the ambiance was just right and the variety of tea cups was fun and unique. I will definitely be back for another cuppa

Absolutely loved it. The funny part is I came for my niece's birthday celebration and I think the adults had even more fun than the kids. This is the perfect spot for small celebrations. I could see at least 2 private rooms. Prices are reasonable and I thought the tea and coffee was delicious. I got the honey lavender cappuccino and really enjoyed it. I forgot what teas we had but they were all good. The food was good too. My least favorite were the scones but I ate most of everything else. The staff was attentive and very understanding even though we accidentally broke a dish. I would love to come back if I lived here and I think this is a great place to host a girls bday party, tea with friends, etc.

Charming tea room with wonderful service! $35 for afternoon tea setting. There are enough treats for 2 but you might want to add a luxurious quiche or some of the tempting treats that are not on the afternoon tea menu. Everything is delicious.

Unfortunately at this time we do not have gluten free bread. I know tea sandwiches can be a big part of a tea experience but we do have lots of other GF options for guests!… Read more

Cello was the same, but different. Similar to the Starbucks ethos, they specialize in a number of fancy coffees, yet still offer plain old brewed coffee. We tried the brewed coffee (5-star fresh and hot), some Green Tea called mint (5-star delish), and a fruit crêpe. Now the fruit crêpe was also a 5-star offering, but you better come hungry ... it was a huge helping, and we ended up splitting it but still could not finish. It was a freshly made crêpe with Nutella and a light cream sauce inside, piled with fresh fruit and then a drizzle of Nutella and the cream sauce on top. This was a meal-sized delight. Many of the other offerings seem to be simply a different riff on the fruit crêpe, which can also come on a fresh waffle. Now this is not the kind of place where you pop in for a quick coffee to go ... but, rather, it takes time to get food (service) here because most of it is freshly made. But that said, if you have the time the food (crepes, coffee, and tea) were worth the wait. Ambiance wise, the decor was very nice ... just enough fru-fru to make you forget you're in a strip mall. There are a number of chairs, tables, and and sofas around to make many seating arrangements, which was nice; you can come with a group or as a single and feel welcome. The only negatives on our visit: the music list was fine, but way too loud; they must turn the music down so patrons can have a conversation. When we arrived we noticed an employee parking their car right in front of the establishment (5 feet from the entrance) and we thought that maybe they could have parked in the spaces just across the lot (35 feet from the door); it just makes sense to cater to your customers, rather than yourself. But all that said, this was a nice new offering in Orland Park.
