Ordered a coffee at 3:50pm. It was lukewarm n very bitter. Went to use cream n it was pretty empty n obviously had been sitting out too long. Asked for new cream and asked why the coffee was not hot. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the county, with a nice ambiance and plenty of tables. They also have great service and very good coffee. I had to remove a star because the Wi-Fi has given me trouble more than once here. Not sure what the issue is. This shop is better for reading and hanging out than it is for work or studying. Clancy Bros is walking distance from the Metra and the area is nice and quiet. Ample parking as well. read more

The hot honey miso latte still warms my dreams a week later! I have never sampled such a perfectly crafted blend before, salty Asian zing married to smooth warm sweetness. These guys know the espresso craft, how to emphasize the quality bitter notes against rich flavors. I sipped savoring each drip in this lovely atmosphere, cozy hidden nooks, private rooms, a big open area with lots of light made right for friends and family and java. Clancy Bros is the boutique coffee shop the area needs! As someone born and raised in the area, there has never been a specialty offering for coffee and tea outside of Starbucks or Dunkin. Finally we have an amazing option! This location used to be a bank but owners reinvented the space perfectly. The inside offers multiple styles of seating, a central skylight, and contemporary/magnolia style decor. Right outside the front door would also be a perfect area for a future patio space. The staff was super friendly and quick to turn around drink orders. I ordered an iced honey lavender latte (a personal favorite of mine) which was the ideal mix of flavor and strong coffee taste. I also picked up an Olipop to go for lunch as I rarely see this outside of a whole foods or super target in the area. I was thoroughly impressed by Clancy Bros, would highly recommend to others, and will certainly be back when I'm in the area! Tip: Be mindful not to miss the entrance as it sneaks up quickly being on the corner of two busier streets. read more

What a stunning cafe! From the outside it was at first hard to tell what it was other than a white painted building but then you come inside and it's a lovely, bright, nicely decorated cafe with plenty of tables and couches in the middle for seating. There was a good amount of parking available - although I stopped by on a weekday morning. There was only a very short line and our food and drinks were done quickly! I was glad to see they had non dairy milk alternatives for an extra 60 cents. We tried the iced chai tea latte regular size (16 oz) with oat milk, chocolate cream nitro, and two hand pies of mixed berry, lavender and sausage, onion, sweet potato and I personally loved the latter hand pie. We had stopped by for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the hand pies and drinks. You can certainly find cheaper coffee or breakfast, but if you're a fan of cafes and locally owned places, you'll enjoy it here! read more

Open in Mokena at an old bank, Clancy's has done it right. Very well done interior. Lots of seating area. Clean and pleasant music playing at a reasonable level. Great smiling and efficient staff. The coffee is delicious. The specialty drinks were great. Smart, diverse menu choices for all tastes. Food choices are there from a quick bite to more substantial sandwiches. I stopped in for my coffee today and had my thermos and my travel cup which both are 20oz. At first they were hesitant to fill the thermos. I was asked what oz both are I told them 20oz. They said they only sell 16oz for large. When they fill both vessels they put the thermos at half full and the travel cup at little over half full. I asked about the amount in both and the girl said that's 16oz large. We also bought 2 muffins and my wife got a coffee too which brought the purchase over 20 dollars. I come here often and I enjoy the roast but if they don't have a way to charge for thermos or 20oz cups I won't be coming back here. I'm not looking for free stuff but I rather leave the place having my cup and thermos full and Im willing to pay for it. Its to bad because the coffee is good here but there's so many of these places I can go to on my Sunday morning coffee outings and it won't be here. read more

Me, my husband and little one were excited to check out this new coffee shop. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. Lots of availability for seating with bar height stools alongside the windows, a large community table able to fit at least 8-10 people and booths + chairs throughout the building. I ordered a hot lavender honey latte and it was delicious. Not too sweet and not overly floral. It was a good balance. My husband ordered a vanilla cold brew and enjoyed it. We also got a donut. It was tasty, but you can't go wrong with a donut. I'd like to try the hand cake eventually, but todays had sausage in it and I was looking for something sweet or with veggies. The line was long but it gave us time to settle down and find a booth. By the time we glanced back, the line was down. I think there was 2 people ahead of us in line and 4 people waiting for drinks. We sat down thinking it would be a while, but within minutes our drinks were prepared. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable/helpful and got through the line quickly! The southwest suburbs have a serious coffee shop shortage, so Clancy Bros. in Mokena was a terrific surprise. It's in an excellent location with nice relaxed cafe vibe and friendly staff. They roast their own beans and the dark roast coffee (Papua New Guinea) was strong but smooth. I have it on good authority that the mocha was delicious. High marks on the pastries as well!
