This is the second location I have been to . The coffee is consistently good . The hand whipped cold foam is a must, so thick and creamy. No vegetable oils . Lots of sugar free flavor add ons if desired. The seating area has various lounge chairs with side tables or a long table is available for a bigger group. Very friendly baristas . read more

New favorite coffee shop in the Tinley/Frankfort area! I've loved to see the growth in small business coffee shops in the area after growing up here. Finally got around to trying Grounded Coffee Bar after hearing family members rave about it. Located in Downtown Frankfort, their shop has tons of street parking adjacent and seating inside to work, meet up with friends, or play a causal board game they have. They offer a large variety of coffee, tea, and food options. I decided to go with a 12oz hot honey lavender latte and my fiancé a 12oz hot chai latte. The chai was more sweet than spiced hut had good flavor. I loved my lavender honey latte! The staff had no problem blending the two flavor types and flavors came through perfectly. Both drinks had a good froth top to them. I also found out they opened a second location in New Lenox this summer! The hype from family was spot on and I cannot wait to come back to try another flavor coffee! read more

I found a hidden gym in downtown Frankfort. The coffee offerings are amazing and you have so much cozy space for you to relax or accomplish work. There is lots of lighting and you have some sweet treat options to pair with your coffee. The barista at this coffee shop answered all my questions was able to make great recommendations, and was extremely inviting and welcoming. I opted for the hazelnut cold brew. It was the Perfect pick me up. This is my new getaway spot! read more

Could do so much better with the ambience. The tv menu's are a major downgrade. The wall decor is completely mismatched. The ugly star lighting is also throwing off the atmosphere. Looks like a dad with no taste decorated the place. A lot of opportunity here as this is in a cute location. My advice is go visit the beautiful coffee shops in the city and get some inspiration. Also dial in on your menu it's all over the place. Learn how to make a proper cappuccino. I would like to see things well done in the suburbs more often. read more

This coffee shop is cute, quaint, and a bit pricey. For two iced coffees (grande size as per StarBucks) it cost $14 and change. Although it's cheaper to make the coffee yourself, it's the ambiance that you're paying for. It is relaxing and inviting here. You can chill out and listen to music or walk around. Will I come Again? I ordered this through Grubhub. I bet if I would've eaten it there, it would've been hot and delicious. The waffle was exceptional. The hummus toast was so tasty, and the perfect proportions of sriracha to hummus. Sadly, though, I ordered a cortado with sugar-free vanilla and got a cold (not iced, just got cold over time) espresso with no milk or flavoring. I'll try here again, but at the restaurant. read more

I've become a daily visitor at Grounded Coffee Shop, and each visit reinforces why this spot has become an essential part of my routine. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by an atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace - it's cozy, vibrant, and filled with the invigorating scent of freshly brewed coffee. Their espresso is a masterpiece: rich, robust, and perfectly balanced. It's clear that they use high-quality ntelligentsia beans and the baristas here truly understand the art and science of coffee-making. Each sip is a testament to their dedication and expertise. But Grounded Coffee Shop offers more than just exceptional coffee. It's the atmosphere that elevates the experience. Whether you're looking to hunker down with a book, catch up on work, or have a heart-to-heart with a friend, the environment is welcoming and conducive to whatever your visit's purpose may be. The staff deserve a shout-out too. Always friendly, always smiling, and they make you feel like a part of the Grounded family from the very first visit. It's rare to find a place that strikes the perfect balance between excellent product and genuine hospitality, but Grounded Coffee Shop nails it. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just in need of a cozy corner to relax, this is the place to be. It's no wonder I find myself coming back day after day. Here's to many more cups of perfect espresso in this lovely atmosphere! read more

Dimes Coffee Lounge

Soft Opening Review! Dimes Coffee Lounge is a great, new…read moreaddition to the Frankfort/New Lenox/Mokena area! Located adjacent to the Patriot Center, this coffee spot is perfect to enjoy when passing through the area or for individuals enjoying sporting events at the center. The inside has a lounge setting up front as well as multiple tables and chairs. They also had some games to play as you enjoy drinks. The menu offered coffee, tea, energy drinks, and some snack options for food. When visiting, I ordered the 12oz Hot Maple Sea Salt Latte with Oatmilk. Their coffee is made with Solo Roast coffee beans which are local. I loved the quality of the bean mixed with their signature latte flavor. They balanced each other well for a cozy drink that was highly enjoyable. My husband got the Chai Latte which uses Tazo tea. The staff is still in training so patience is key but well worth the wait! We had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Summer. She was extremely personable and truly seems to appreciate the art of sharing coffee with the community. This is the exact type of business I love finding and supporting! Be sure to read their story behind the Dimes name and stop by to give them a try!

It has a pretty strange location that makes it seem out of place. Just don't judge it until you go in. The prices are pretty okay for being coffee that's local and independently owned. Basically the coffee is the main thing of course. It's got kind of a small selection but they only make the best stuff. There's the basics like the lattes and a few of the specialties too. Actually can be good to not be too complicated. It's about $5 to get a specialty coffee, which isn't that bad to be honest. Also has bags of coffee beans to go. The last time in here I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte. Like drinking cereal. They also have a few pastries. It's about $2 for a croissant. The Vegan Curved Croissant is one of these. Fluffy and still has a buttery flavor. There's also a few breakfast sandwiches. Finding it can be complicated. It's located in a building on Schoolhouse Road. There's also a pizza place in the same location so after going here you can go there.

Loved this coffee spot!!…read more On the outside, it looks like nothing much as strip mall doesn't have much signage. However, friendly service as soon as we walked in! Coffee - smoothies - toast options I went with a small cold brew and dang that coffee was strong! I don't remember the name of the toast I got, but it had peanut butter, almonds, honey, and banana. So tasty! Plenty of seating, with tables, score! 2 gender neutral bathrooms available. Definitely one of the better coffee spots I've checked out in awhile. I will definitely return if I'm in the area.
