Customer service usually pretty good here, but there's a younger guy who seemed very inconvenienced to have to give me crème for my coffee when there wasn't any out on the counter at 8:10 am on Thursday 1/9/24. I don't think crème was a huge ask. And then he handed me a cup with crème so asked if he could dump a little out so I wasn't dumping liquid in the trash he actually made an auditory sigh. No matter what day of the week, no matter the time of day, this place is packed! I try to avoid this location for the same reason. The drive thru is consistently 4-5 cars deep and you will wait there AT LEAST 10-15 minutes every time as they are always painstakingly slow. I usually go inside to see if I'll save time....NOPE! I can and will say that their drinks are always spot on, they usually (keyword) don't mess up your order. Who has time to sit in a drive thru line for 15-20 minutes before work?????? read more

Drinks are consistent. Drive thru Staff is ok. Inside is always crowded. HOWEVER, drive thru drink fulfillment is SLOW. I understand this is a busy location but please waiting 10mins is too long for drive thru. I've actually left the line because just couldn't wait. Speed up drive thru somehow. If you thought the PIB Starbucks at Suwanee was just another ordinary Starbucks, you actually guessed right. Whenever going to a franchise, I have low expectations to avoid disappointments or be pleasantly surprised. When it comes to this location, it's not great nor terrible. I have been here total 10-13 times in the course of 4 months, and I've had varied experiences that brings the average to a 3 star. Just like any other businesses, the experience can be good or bad depending on the customer traffic. I've been in line for more than 15 minutes, and have baristas mess up the simplest orders during peak hours. I've also had really great customer service and tasted great coffees other times when things are slow. It might seem unfair to give 3 stars if I were to place the standard as any other businesses that provide varied service depending on traffic. However, I have been to many other Starbucks that deliver consistent product with same great attitude no matter the traffic. In fairness to those other Starbucks location that have it right, I feel justified in giving this location a 3/5. If you are in a rush and need some coffee, get your coffee here. This is one of many Starbucks that I've been to in the Sugar Hill/Buford/Suwanee area and can honestly say it's one of my favorites. The parking and drive thru is a little quirky in this parking lot but if you can get over that, you're in for a treat. I've been inside a couple of times as well as the drive thru. The turnaround time for drinks in most Starbucks is hit or miss especially when you have a wife that is always drinking caramel frapps. Every time I've visited this location, the service is always friendly. They get the drinks right every time and the best part is...SUPER FAST. This place during COVID is very strange, it seems as though they close their store whenever they want. I would go in the middle of a weekday and ALL aspects of the store would be closed. Stopped in to grab a warm cup of coffee while out and about. My selection was the toasted white chocolate mocha. I am not a big coffee fan, but this delight hit the spot. It reminded me of a flavorful hot chocolate. It wasn't bitter like many coffees tend to be in my opinion. I could taste the notes of white chocolate. I added a few packs of raw sugar to my cup. My all time favorite Sbucks. These folks got it right and get it right every day! I cannot believe there are actually reviews on here where people are complaining about the lines. It's Starbucks, when the heck have you been in a Starbucks that didn't have a line, especially at peak times? It's not the employee's fault that a lot of people decided to show up at the same time. Drive-through is amazingly fast, inside ordering is fast but the fastest is mobile ordering. You order through the app and your drink is ready and sitting in its designated spot within minutes. I've probably been here 40 times and never once has anyone gotten my order wrong. If you complain about this location then you must have a darn fine Starbucks near you. for the 2nd time in a week I tossed my drink into the bin. I always order a soy latte and it has been the same strong, slightly bitter concoction for years, but this location just can't get it right. My soy latte had no espresso flavor at all - just a milky pale almost flavorless cup of liquid. I ordered at the driveup window after the long wait line, and I've learned to sip before leaving the lot. It was horrible, so I parked and went to ask for a remake. The cashier looked like she wanted to fight me at first, then reached over and pushed a button on the machine while the barista was busy with something else. The barista was very nice, but the 2nd latte was no better - no espresso flavor, milky, watery. I gave up and tossed it into the trash when I got home. Typically love Starbucks. This one is the exception. I was with a coworker working on some code on our laptops for a couple of hours. It was a typical starbucks experience with come students, some professionals and some mom's chatting. Everything was going average when all of a sudden an employee knocked an iced coffee off of the counter. The iced coffee hit the floor and splashed about ten feet in our direction. The coffee hit my laptop, my colleague, a couple other patrons, and also my shirt. I was most upset about my shirt because I got the shirt from donating to the "Save the Hooch" fund. My main concern and source of disappointment is that the employees did nothing to assist the customers who were splashed with the coffee. I approached the female employee who was cleaning the mess and told her that my shirt was stained. She didn't apologize or really acknowledge me. I then asked if they had any stain remover or soda water. She said no but they had tap water. I looked around in disbelief. I took pictures and checked in on Yelp so that I could use it to write their corporate hq. I spoke to two more employees who were of no help. This is Starbucks right? Aren't they known for their customer service? I guess not. It was just about time for them to close and the only contact I received from the staff was to be asked to leave by the side door and to wrap it up because they were closing. Sat in the drive through for 20 minutes. They got my order wrong 2 times. The second time I parked my car and went in with out a mask. Not thinking I would need one for drive thru service. When I asked to speak with a manager the man told me he was the manager. I indicated I was disappointed with the service and you offer no apology. This is a great store. They have an extremely high volume of traffic so to keep the wait times as low as they do is an accomplishment. The drink quality is spot on. Update 3/11/18 I had to update the rating from a 2 to a 5 simply because they make the best French Vanilla lattes within a 6 mile radius of my house. Seriously!!! I've tried a good 5 locations and they all let me down. This place is just special. And if it means going out of my way and passing up several other Starbucks...and settling for children at times, then so be it. This has become my favorite location by far. _________________________________________________________ My latte was amazing, BUT the parents in the area tend to drop their middle schoolers off at this location to hang out and 'study' with each other. At one point I counted over 10 kids...all middle schoolers, spread out across 4 different tables, and they were so obnoxiously loud and giddy...and disruptive that I couldn't even study. I couldn't even drown them out with classical music in my Bluetooth headphones. Maybe I'm more annoyed because I don't have any kids, but honestlydon't think Starbucks is a hangout for children. They need supervision of some kind. Plus, I saw a lot of customers leave who were trying to work/study because of the noise. If I come back to this location it'll be DURING school hours, when they are in class. read more

I come to this Starbucks every day. First it was because it's right next to my work. And now, because I love all of the staff. They treat me like family. Every time I walk in I am greeted happily no matter how busy it is. They always make my drink perfectly and most have them know what I'm going to get before I even order it. They are fast, accurate, and so so kind. David-Alexander is such an amazing person and never fails to bring a smile to my face. Jamal, Ben, Jonathan, Jess, Josie, Minnie, Genevieve, Morgan, and the rest of the team always make my day. When I'm having a bad day they cheer me up. I've never had an issue here. Where do you go when you need to get out of the house, but still want excellent bandwidth and people watching at the same time, with a good dose of caffeine thrown in for good measure? Why Starbucks of course. I ended up there with my boyfriend over the weekend, and we got breakfast, a table and free Wi-fi to download the latest Quicken to my laptop and make me fiscally responsible (I already pay my all bills in full, on time, but it can't hurt to have a better idea of where my hard earned money's going). My skinny hazelnut latte was excellent (although it originally got mislabeled for hot chocolate - no biggie), the chicken sausage breakfast wrap was very good (absolutely smoking hot - almost too hot to handle at first): filled with egg whites, chicken sausage and roasted veggies, and the Wi-fi was doing well that morning. We ended up staying for about 3 hours: Quicken's got a steep learning curve, to put it lightly - I don't recommend starting it unless you have an expert helping you along. The people watching and drink order listening was priceless: I thoroughly enjoyed watching the various states of dress and undress that filed in and out (I swear some people looked like they were ready to go out for the night and it was a Sunday morning, and others had barely put on shoes before rolling in for caffeine), the over-sugared, over-caffeinated, over-complicated, over-sized drinks people unflinchingly ordered and picked up with no shame whatsoever, and the other people who'd set up camp all around us with laptops, smart phones, tablets or other electronic devices in order to avoid actual human contact or interaction while writing "The Great American Novel" (aka playing Tetris and Facebook stalking). This is a good Starbucks with decent seating inside, a nice patio outside, a drive-thru and friendly staff. It was a good choice and suited our needs just fine. read more

When I do come here I go to the dive through and the employees are always down to Earth! They always get my order correct and they are very informative when I ask questions. They are also super fast. Don't necessarily love the location since it is off a busy street. Takes me about 3-5 min when I go through the drive way. read more
