First time here and I ordered from the drive through a large hot carmel apple cider. They charged me for a carmel apple cider and gave me hot apple juice.... I went here for a gourmet hot drink I have enjoyed at other startbucks at home in California that was properly made the way I asked. I expected the same from this startbucks. Worst Starbucks location ever. You will typically spend about 15 minutes in line at the drive through. There isn't another one nearby either, which stinks. When asked why it takes so long at the window, I've been told multiple times that drive through doesn't get priority over walk-ins. That seems stupid to me. When I first started coming here because it's close to work, I got the wrong coffee several times. They are slow, rude and unapologetic about everything. They rarely send a car to the "wait" area if there's a hold up, so as to let simple orders behind get to the window....why? Because they just don't care about the customers. Came here early before work right when their hours online said they were open. I tried to open the door but it was locked. The employees just looked at me and continued setting up. I waited a few minutes because I thought maybe they were looking for their keys. They continued to not acknowledge me. I had to leave because I needed to be at work at the nearby hospital but I'm in the middle of finals week and really needed coffee. They should of at least come to talk to me instead of ignoring me. The worst Starbucks. Numerous times I have order 15 minutes away from their store and still have to wait 10 minutes. I have had wrong drinks, untoasted bagels and the worst part is the employees. First time in a long time I didn't go through drive-thru....WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A STARBUCKS!! Ordered two venti drinks and two treats...we were handed one treat...barista was mystified when queried about missing scone. Then we got one grande drink - wrong - and the other never came... Placed a mobile order when MMBT was blocked excited at college Dr took 3 mins to drive there walked in grabbed my coffee (Venti Americano splash of 2%, 2 Splenda and sugar free cinnamon dolce) drove back to MMBT and got ahead of where I was parked at on 664 because of the on ramp. Now I can wait in traffic with my coffee! And btw if you haven't tried cinnamon dolce you should it's delicious for fall. read more

Baristas are really nice! Im not really sure what to write about this starbucks ( vs all the other starbucks in the nation). But its located conveniently across the street from buffalo wild wings and sweet frog. I wanted to try the orange spice iced coffee... but im a boring timid human and usually get my standard " blah boring iced coffee with 2 shots of sugar free vanilla, blah.". I wanted to be adventurous yesterday ( i was even wearing a dress, which is not natural for me). ANYHOW, so i asked the barista if i could sample it- she actually made me a quarter glass of the tall drink and it was yum :) So, i ordered a tall, she gave me a grande cup ( so i could mix my sample in with my tall) and rang me up :) This location was CLEAN ( the couches looked clean too.. which is strange), including the bathroom ( which i visited a number of times that day, damn the cofffee). This place is kinda cute because it has a little nook thats enclosed and it has 3 comfy chairs. Sucky part of the nook is- not enough light. Oh yea one weird thing i noticed- i didnt see any of their merchandise on clearance.. which was weird for me because theres almost always something on sale at starbucks.. expensive, but still sale. So, yea in standard chains like this, i find it hard to comment on much except for what is dynamic - the baristas , location and cleanliness. Free wifi that works, ample parking and DRIVE THROUGH! Honestly, this place is busy. All the time. But I give it 4 stars b/c they make good drinks here. This location could double in size and still be busy most of the time. It's near neighborhoods of people who like to walk to get coffee. There is not enough parking in this shopping area. The drive through wraps around the building. See why I could give less stars?!?! But they do make the drinks right. And if I really want coffee from Starbucks I come to this location. read more

This Starbucks is in a shopping center across from where the regal cinemas are. The baristas are pretty friendly and they tend to get my green tea frap done right. This place also has a convinient drive thru for people on the go, like me . :) read more

I had the absolute worst experience with Statbucks customer service this morning with this location. This is only my third trip to this store as I am active duty military and just recently moved to this area. The other two trips went well for me, though a female employee by the name of Randi was confrontational with another employee both times. Her tone is aggressive as is but I can look past that. This morning she argued with me twice, however. The first is when I ordered my drink. She sort of intruded in on the barista taking my order by taking over the register and casually mentioned, "Oh that isn't actually a [insert type of drink here]" when I ordered. Rude.... but okay. I've ordered this for four and a half years and have never once been corrected or told that it is anything different. Moving forward, I've always ordered iced. Since she had butted in on the cashier who was taking my order maybe she didn't hear me say "iced". When I saw she was making it hot after paying I told her I meant to order iced and she snapped, "Well you didn't order it iced. I was standing right here." I said "meant" to be polite and non abrasive. I know I ordered ice. So this time I tell her it isn't polite to argue with customers and that I don't appreciate her snide remarks. She obliges to remake my drink. All good, right? No. She literally poured a bottle od chocolate syrup on top in front of me. I took a drink and it was nauseating. I gave it back and told her I don't appreciate the attitude or her purposely making the drink wrong the second time. She offered to give me a gift certificate but I was obviously angry at this point so I declined and left after taking her name. I'd like to mention I was in a military uniform and am a rewards member that paid with a rewards card. Bravo, Starbucks. What a stellar choice of an employee. read more

Horrible service ALWAYS. They cannot get a drink right. I order a specific drink, and they repeat it WRONG. I always get sugar free. But I can't taste the difference. 2 hours later, I have a major sugar crash. Their only interest is taking your order. Cars wrapped aound the building. Lots of orders, but no one can make it right. When I contact corporate, they just want to give me free food. LISTEN UP STARBUCKS.....all we all want is a well made over priced drink. I won't go back. read more

The staff at this location is horrible. They never ever get my order correct, even if I repeat myself multiple times. Also, just don't bother if you have dietary restrictions because you'll wind up clinging to the porcelain God all day because one of the baristas will put regular milk in the latte you asked for soy milk in, but the manager will jump in and berate you for not asking for soy, even though about three other customers in the store can verify that you did indeed ask for soy. Maybe the staff can't hear over the loud music or the flapping of their own gums because not a single one of them knows how to shut up and listen. read more

Love this Starbucks! The employees have always been very friendly, they even remember you if you come in often, which is always a nice feeling. I have had a couple issues with something not being made right, but they always fix it. I've been frequenting this location for over a year because it is on the way to the interstate for my daily commute to Williamsburg and I also frequent here every weekend, sometimes in the morning and many times during the evening. One thing I have noticed is that the restrooms are DISGUSTING and do not ever seemed to be cleaned on a regular basis. I tested this theory by dropping my gum on the floor and it remained there for three weeks before it was finally cleaned up. On another instance, I clearly heard an employee being yelled at and berated in the back room by who I assume is the manager and who I see regularly; the manager appeared to be a slightly robust lady, long hair, very unkept (sloppy appearing), and she reeked of cigarettes as she stormed passed me to exit the building, however, I have not confirmed that she is the manager. My daily visits are divided with half the time the employees are extremely nice and enjoy being there and half the time they appear as if they are miserable and are over worked. Those times are usually when the location is severely understaffed especially during the rush hours, which does not make any sense. Whenever I am short for time and decide to go through the drive-thru, which is seldom, the barista's almost always incorrectly make my drink. Due to my frustration I once asked if they had some sort of back-up in place to ensure that the orders would be properly made and to my surprise, the employee informed me that the "monitor screen," which they are to use to verify the customer's orders, has not been working for at least the 12+ months that he or she had been working there and they also have very few working headsets to communicate with each other to help with orders. I was then informed that, "We're given high expectations to do our job but are not given the proper tools so we always end up failing and getting in trouble for failing." Unfortunately for me, because I absolutely love Starbucks, I will continue to frequent this location and my reason for leaving such a poor review is with the hopes that something gets fixed. read more
