It had the perfect blend of tropical fruity flavor from the guava, and the matcha was spot on since it was smooth and not at all grassy. The staff was very pleasant, and my drink was prepared quickly yet with great care. I can't wait to go back soon and try some of their baked goods, which all looked divine!

Finally I tried again and this second time I was able to try some of their offerings. I came on a Saturday and they were hosting DayLite Jersey House Music event. It was LOUD and packed with people just standing around. The vibes were cool though. My friends came before me and were able to snag a table in the back room. I went up to the counter to order. Unfortunately my first choice, a matcha latte, was sold out. I asked if they had any other options because I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I was told that there were flavored lemonades, I asked the about the flavors and the person who was helping me wasn't sure so they went and asked another person who ended up coming to list the syrups and just ringing me out. I ordered a blueberry lemonade and a blueberry pop-tart to go. Everything was fine until the end of our time there. As we were getting ready to leave I grabbed what I thought was my cup and took a quick sip to finish it off so I didn't have to carry it around. Turns out I grabbed a coffee from the table instead. I thought it was my friend's so I apologized to her about drinking her drink because I didn't realize I grabbed the wrong one in the dark. She goes, "oh no it's not my drink...I have mine in my hand." I'm like whose drink and dishes are these? She said that they were there before they got there and they just pushed it to the side. Omg I almost gagged, I just took the biggest sip of some random person's drink by accident. At that point I get up to go to the bathroom to rinse out my mouth. While I'm gone by friends get their things ready and also wait outside the bathroom, which is right by our table. As soon as I get out I walk back to grab my pop-tart and it was gone, cleared away by the staff in a matter of minutes. Crazy that they left the table with dishes and cups when we got there but when we were leaving they were in a rush to clear away everything that they take my basically full pop-tart too. I was so defeated at that point I just left. To note, I did take one bite of the pop-tart and it was actually very good. My lemonade was fine, nice and tart. Overall service is kinda lacking but it was also a crazy day to visit with an event going on so I can't really comment on how they are normally. I don't think I will back because I don't know if I can recover from swigging some rando's drink.

I was looking for a good baguette in my neighborhood for a while. But as simple as a baguette may seem, making a tasty one is an art. I was running some errands when I suddenly felt pekish. I saw on Yelp that there was an "authentic French bakery" nearby and decided, "Why not?" Originally, I was thinking of getting a quiche, but as I got into the store, I decided to switch to an avocado egg sandwich. I am sure quiche is good, but I was impressed by the sandwich. It came on the plate with very fresh salad greens. Greens there fresh and sauce tangy, just what one needs to cut through the richness of avocado and egg. I think I had an entire Avacado cut on it. The avocado itself was just right. But the star of the show, for me, was a baguette! I inhaled the entire dish and asked if they sell baguettes on their own, which they do. The bakery associate told me they just ran out, but they are baking new ones now. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I will get a freshly baked one. I could not believe my lack. They came as promises and they were great, just smell alone was to die for There are so many other things I want to try, so I'll definitely be back. Thank you guys, you all made my day!

It's completely okay for the pastries being outsourced but at the end of the day, it either tastes good or doesn't and unfortunately, for its a hidden cafe it was one disappointment after the next when it came to the food. Also, the cost of one shoprite apple turnovers from the cafe buys you the whole case at shoprite which is *actually* the same exact food. My friend loves the Ube Tres Leches so I placed a half-sheet order (8x8) for her birthday. I called in and placed it over the phone and they sent over an invoice to my email to prepay. It was fairly easy and it was ready on the scheduled time/date. I have always suggested this place since day one even when they were in their previous location but I had to recently knock off a star for service. I've tried quite a few of their drinks in the past and although they all might not all be my taste, I've always taken a chance and tried their suggestions. Recently I've stopped ordering drinks because of an experience I had when I came with a friend. She ordered a Vietnamese Iced coffee and it was so bitter (and tasted a little acidic/burnt). My friend let me try it and asked if Vietnamese coffee was supposed to taste like that because she's never had it before. I've had my fair share of them being Vietnamese and I told her although it is a strong coffee, it should not taste like that. She went up to ask for more condensed milk or something just to sweeten up the drink and they refused but also didn't offer any options. We just left and she threw her drink away. I felt terrible because it was truly bad and I had suggested this place. I don't think that's a good way to handle a situation like that and since then I've only come in for desserts. I still suggest this place but that interaction did leave a sour taste in my mouth (pun intended).
