We spend no less than $150 a month on our Starbucks, most of which is at this location. They can't get drinks right to save their lives, and all they have to do is read. The label states what I have ordered. If I ask for an extra shot, add an extra shot. If I order a grande flat white, it's three ristretto shots NOT two espresso shots (like a latte). If I ask for no ice, no ice. It's on the label. I've recently been ordering tea without ice and each time my guy comes back with a cup full of ice. My order label reads no ice. I switched to tea because I had two many jacked up coffees in a row. Turnover at that location is ridiculous and they're clearly not training like they need to. My last flat white was made by someone who had no clue the size I ordered came with 3 ristretto shots rather than 2 reg espresso shots. Come on. Surely they have cheat sheets. Switching locations is too much of a pain in the butt (extra drive). I'm fixing to bring my business to a local coffee joint. read more

Like other reviewers, I agree, Starbucks is not worthy of an individual review but this particular location (I10/Gause) has earned that "privilege". I tried all 3 Starbucks locations within the Slidell/North Shore area and this is by far my favorite. No matter how often I come in, the Baristas are consistent in their service. They even remember (and some even attempt to) your order, your previous visit and comments you may have made (pet owner, volunteer work etc). Upside: Impeccable service at this location, they are consistent and most importantly work well under pressure as this location is right on the interstate (i10 E/W) between Nola and Gulfport/Biloxi. Downside: if you're a local looking for a place to read, unwind, surf the net or a chill spot -- know their hours and peak times WELL! Place gets so packed during finals (exams) and afternoons (sometime evenings), no seats are available and you may even find yourself waiting for your order outside. Side note: if this location is packed (and it's not out of your way) another awesome DRIVE THRU location with outstanding service: Starbucks on North Shore Blvd (in front of North Shore Sq Mall; next to TMobile and GameStop). Still disappointed. I probably won't be back during the day. I love the night crew! They are wonderful but say crew seems off putting. Had an attitude with me when I asked if I could ring my mug up separately. I also ordered a certain milk but I can taste it was not what I order. She didn't offer tire make it. Not only did she add two scoops of ice, instead of remaking my drink, she added more of the thick syrup base to loosen it up. That's more sweetener that I didn't want. It's a shame... read more

I don't think you can go wrong with this chain. They are always on point and if they aren't they always do their best to make it right. This location is no different. Though the last carmel macchiato I ordered had too much carmel... I did not think it was possible but I was proven wrong. Still I don't mind. read more

A frequent stop on my way from Louisiana to Florida, this Starbucks always takes care of my coffee and pastry needs... I have probably stopped here more than 50 times, and cannot remember a time in which they got it wrong. BOTTOM LINE: A solid Starbucks experience. read more

I was so impressed with the speed, quality and service at this Starbucks. My family and I stopped here for breakfast on the morning of July 23rd and ordered four drinks, along with multiple items from the pastry case. Because of the size and complexity of our order, on top of the fact that there were at least four cars in the drive-through lane, I was skeptical that everything would come out right. However, this Starbucks far exceeded my expectations! The drinks and pastries were prepared quickly, and although I didn't think to request it, all drinks were ready in a drink carrier by the time my order was called. Service is not consistent... I placed a mobile order 10mins before arrival. When i got to the drive thru, I was asked twice, what did I order & was this a mobile order. Finally, I was asked to pull around & park so someone can bring me my caramel macchiato. Also, on other visits, I've ordered a fancy coffee with a extra shot of espresso. I like this Starbucks better than front street because they have lounge chairs. The staff is exceptional! And of course I go here to study, clear my head or just get some work done. And I can do it all here. Free wifi is nice. And I love the smell of coffee! They also have a drive thru which is good when I'm on the go! read more

This Starbucks, this one is hardest to get to even though its off of the freeway. If your like me and commute from Slidell to New Orleans in the morning don't go here. Yes, they're fast and friendly but if you want to get your Starbucks fix before you hit the road- save yourself some time and go to the new one off of the Fremaux exit, that's the next exit down, they're not as busy and you don't have to maneuver through as many difficult stop lights and service roads. read more

This review is specific to the service when ordering breakfast sandwiches. Which are very good. However, for the 3rd weekend in a row I have gone there to get one and they got the order wrong. Twice inside this last time in the drive thru. They apparently do not care what you order, they will give you what they want to give you. read more

Just what you expect from any Starbucks! The employees are friendly & work fairly fast. The drinks are delicious. The drive thru moves at a steady pace & is very convenient! I've been here many times (a few times to have a meeting with 7-8 other people) and have been pleased every time. read more

Very run of the mill Starbucks (which I do very much enjoy). However, one of the slowest Starbucks or coffee shops I have EVER had. The bartista taking our order was SO rude and very unfriendly. When we walked in there was only 1 person sitting down and we wait almost 5 minutes before we were 'greeted' and asked if we were ready to order. My husband is hard of hearing and she was very, very rude when he had to ask what she said a few times. Will not be back because of the terrible experience with her. read more

While coffee is always good, I was shocked at the restrooms condition. No toilet paper in the one and very little in the other. I told the barista and eventually someone was sent however I looked for napkins and discovered those were all empty as well. So unexpected for a Starbucks! read more

Good service. Nice location right off of the highway. I ordered my usual but it wasnt what i expected. They didnt have the reusable cups at this location but the staff was friendly. Drive thru was backed up and the inside had a few ppl waiting in line behind us. There is more space in this one compared to the one in Daphne. Will look forward to using this location again when visiting for Mardi Gras read more

Seriously. I am a regular coffee drinker and hit up Starbucks a few times a week. I have never had a reason to complain about them until today, when I had an experience so bad that I am still reeling. My order was wrong and when I told the drive thru person (who I found out later was the manager) she was really, really rude. I ordered a mocha and she gave me a frappucino. She told me she repeated back frappucino and, ok if she did I missed it, but is that the end of the world? She told me next time say hot, and slammed the door. She was so snotty that I went inside to complain and found out she was the manager. She continued to berate me in FRONT OF CUSTOMERS AND STAFF. Legendary customer service, my ass. hi, i just wanted to say i finally got around to checking this place out. the veranda and blonde roasts are better than the overly populated starbucks, this one is not as continually fast with customers, all the time. those two coffees are good, also there is nothing wrong with the baristas, however, there is how to say, and ambient energy of nothing. a lot of that is from the regulars or the types of people that come in i had to mention, it's comparable to the bumbs you would see at the 24 hour starbucks on wells and north in chicago, but there the ambient energy has more thought consistent. barristers coffee are fine, but the type of people that frequent it, are not. ~peace thomas :) ps: i had to add. a lot of this probably has to do with the economic factors, also, the prevailing sense of how the youth who are working, are left behind. 30 years ago, this town had more of a place, to that. part of that is slidell, but the other part seriously is the economic factor. still going to this place, coffee and baristas are fine, just watch for the empty ambient energy, from certain types of customers on that level, it's terrible! lol read more

Wi Fi never works!!!. Twice in the last 5 days it didn't work. Staff is "spacey" when you ask them about it. I left and went to PJ'S Coffee on Gause Blvd East. They have fast Hi Speed internet and it works!!! They have been voted Number 1 coffee shop in new Orleans for the last 5 years. Take your business there. Forget Starbucks. read more
