Iced Americano
Rachelle M.

I absolutely love this location!! My favorite thing to do is get an iced Americano 5 shots and light water with cream and vanilla !! I'm not into sweet coffee and my favorite is the espresso roast as I worked at Starbucks for 8 years as a coffee master lol they never judge me on my order and u always have exceptional service and the girls there are always so nice wether in be through the drive thru or in Cafe! I'm moving soon I will definitely miss this location!! I can oy hope to find an excellent location by my new home in orlando!

Update: Brody provided excellent customer service. Thank you to this location for bringing in the Oleato lattes. Almost makes up for the fact that Marleana isn't here! Update: why doesn't Marleana work here anymore? Marleana was my favorite associate at this store. Very sad to lose quality people and quality customer service. I hope they moved her up within the company. Thank you for making a difference Marleana!!!

We went through the drive through to order. It was a little slower than I am used to at a Starbucks, but the staff was nice, polite and the drink was good.

You don't mess with a classic.

In the past this Starbucks has been nothing but drama for me. Today was a completely different experience. The baristas were ridiculously friendly and the service was wicked fast. The order accuracy has always been a triumph here. I usually find the cafe orders to be quite slow. It's possible that there is a completely new team. It's possible there's a new manager. I don't know what it is but boy it's like a whole new store. The drive thru is usually more reliable for speed. As of September 30, 2020 they have recently reopened the cafe for some socially distant seating. The restrooms are still closed for guests.

I come to the Starbucks often mostly through the drive-thru. Each time the Baristas there have been so nice and friendly and of course like any Starbucks I love the coffee in the food. Only downside is that it's a right on the corner of to majorly busy intersections hahaha. I love the look of the place it's very nice and inviting and it's a good place if you wanted to sit and talk or quietly work on something. A good Starbucks to pop by if you're in the area.

Today I went through the drive through with my husband and the little girl in the window was less than professional and was overly complimentary and came across as flirtatious. Crossed the line with what is acceptable to say to customers. Won't be back.

over creamed shaken expresso

It's just a terrible Starbucks they messed drinks up constantly I literally went back in twice same mistake over cream to my drink it's just not hard to shake and espresso with a little bit of three minutes for milk they poured ounces of cream in it twice it's just an awful Starbucks that's all there is to it

I've never spent less than 30 minutes at this Starbucks. If you want 2 normal drinks, expect at least 30 minutes.

Upon entering I was greeted by one of the most warmest faces I saw all day named GIgi. Later to find that Gigi was the manager and the baker of the Driftwood. We exchanged pleasantries and she introduced me to her staff one of the time. First was Antonio a young gentleman with knowledge of the Kava in Kratom. There was Savannah who was the master roster that was well educated on all of the organic coffee beans that she would roast in 5 pound increments. She gave me a small tour of the process of how driftwood roast their coffee to perfection. Forgive me for not remembering the other barista but she had decent knowledge of the tees. I can best describe her by her having a Harley Quinn tattoo on her arm. For the 15 minutes I was there I ordered a strawberry shortcake cheesecake, Kratom to go for a family member, well I enjoyed one of the best double espresso's that I've had since my father had his coffee company in Atlantic City. They shared with me the camaraderie amongst the guests and on Sunday and Monday were the nights to come as there was game night and karaoke I believe on Sunday which I'm looking forward to going to! As much as I hate talking about it, Driftwood Roastery is extremely Covid careful. The restaurant and bar area are super clean and sanitary. All employees had masks. All of the uniforms were impeccable and each of their individual personalities was contagious as I was brought into each conversation. Gigi thank you for the Death By Chocolate! I need it 32 ounces of milk to wash it down! Bravo ladies!

Wowza! Another great recommendation by my local bestie…read more Sugar Baby was the best coffee shop we visited during our short stay in St. Pete Beach. Parking is limited, but we lucked out and found a spot right up front. We were greeted upon entering. The space is bright with ample seating. The staff was friendly and patiently answered all of our questions while we deliberated over our food and drink options. We ordered the following: Sweet and salty Americano Breakkie bowl Beach burrito I'm a sucker for homemade syrups, so I was immediately impressed. My iced sweet and salty was smooth and perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Everything on the food menu sounded appetizing which made it tough to decide. I wanted to try do many items, but we loved our breakkie bowl and beach burrito. I liked the burrito slightly more. It was loaded with the good stuff. I will definitely be looking for a Sugar Baby next time I'm in the Tampa area!

I did have to ask for a bit more milk to be what I know as a Flat White. Then it was delicious! I'm DEFINITELY coming back here. I have a dance teacher who lives a little north of here, so I can stop in after class for a pick me up. (Yay! ) I'll also definitely bring friends here. We're all foodies from NYC, so they'll appreciate this place. All the tables were full at 1pm lunchtime. Now I know why! It's bright and airy, good A/C, lots of tables and the staff was so helpful in helping me choose what to get on this first visit. Spot on! Well done, Sugar Baby.

Avoid. Not as Advertised. No Florida Vibe can overcome this expensive inauthentic experience…read more This seat yourself establishment may have good tunes, but it's not as advertised. Pricey, poor service, slow, and my $14 avocado toast? Just spread, no fresh avocado on it whatsoever. Pathetic. $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids to have breakfast. I feel sick just thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is just a money making racquet. Nothing more. #touristtrap

Cozy little place with good hospitality…read more We wanted to grab some breakfast before heading back home and stopped into this little location before we left. When we got there, it was a seat yourself situation and after about five minutes or so a server came over and took our drink order and asked if we had any questions. The menu is a combo with both breakfast and brunch style options. They do close around 3 PM so they very much are catering to the morning/early afternoon audience. I wanted to try the chicken salad sandwich, but unfortunately, they were out of it so I chose the avocado toast as my backup. The bread was really soft and really delicious and the arugula with the cherry tomatoes and balsamic was really well balanced. The bread is Cuban bread so you definitely get that little crunch on it as well. My husband got the French toast again, made with Cuban bread, but he said it was really good. It wasn't too dense. The bacon was good, but it is tiny as he's used to eating thick cut bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Parking is a little tight because it's located behind the location and is shared with the condos that are above the business so be prepared for that.

Southie gets points for creativity! My Maple Syrup Dirty Chai was enjoyable, although a little too sweet for my taste. Matt's Miso Cold Brew was surprisingly good! The staff was absolutely lovely, remaining friendly and welcoming despite being completely slammed. Now, about those breakfast burritos... At $13.95 each, I expected something a little more substantial. I'm not asking for a burrito the size of my forearm, but I'd like to finish breakfast feeling like I've actually eaten! To make matters worse, they brought me the wrong one. Mistakes happen, especially when you're overwhelmed, and I can extend some grace. But had Matt's coffee and burrito not been complimentary through the Yelp event, our breakfast for two would have approached $50. That's a pretty steep price for two coffees and two petite burritos! The atmosphere is cute, although nothing particularly memorable. Southie has creative coffee options and genuinely wonderful employees, but the overall value missed the mark for me. Would I return? Perhaps for another interesting coffee creation, but probably not for breakfast. The sweetest part of our visit was definitely the staff, they are awesome!
