My go to Starbucks and every time I go to another location I am extremely disappointed in taste and service. Fir many reasons This is my favorite Starbucks location. Customer service is #1 and every barista is fantastic. I have to compliment the manager Nate for excellent service recovery from another location's mistake. He customized a birthday frapp that was delicious. Starbucks is very lucky to have Nate managing this location. read more

Starbucks - Thanks Nate!! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, California

Ordered a caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. What did I get?? I got black coffee. I work hard for my income just like everyone else. Tring my best to not be a "Karen" tried to call and was hung up on multiple times. Not sure what's going on we all have bad days off days... just wanted the coffee I paid for. Nothing more nothing less. read more

It's a nice and spacious Starbucks that really accommodates study groups. The main reason for this review is to point out the wonderfully amazing Baristo Nate. He is super quick and provides a show with his transactions. If you are unsure what I mean, you will just have to go check it out. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, California

This post is long overdue after the multiple poor experiences I've had here. Drinks are fine and all that, but I have never seen a more miserable staff in my entire life. I don't know if these employees just don't belong in the customer service industry or if the management here just completely ruins them as humans, but something needs to change. Morning or afternoon, everyone here just seems so miserable and it is so, so sad. read more

I will start with the only unfortunate thing about this particular Starbucks: there is one [only one that I have encountered] employee who is about as cheerful as the Grinch. He is just really unpleasant. Even with that, this place gets five stars, because everyone else who works there is absolutely incredible. They remember my name, my orders (two custom orders!), and always go out of their way to say hello when I come in. I don't even go in there on a daily basis, and yet they treat me like we are all family. The nicest people... Drink/food quality wise - perfection! I have never gotten a stale piece of food from this one, which is always a good thing. My light-ice Fraps are perfectly blended and my complicated Tazo tea order is made just the way I like it. Atmosphere: I have never had a problem with the other inhabitants; everyone is well mannered, and respects the Starbucks-environment. I love this Starbucks! read more

This is my "Home Location" I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in.. everyone knows my name, my favorite drinks, and have the ready to go in just a few minutes! What don't I like? The parking. The spots in front of the store need to be 20 minute only spots. I hate it when the "campers" park there, then sit inside and use the free wireless for hours on end.. Have some consideration for those of us that want to get in and out! read more

My Starbucks in Lakeside was closed for some reason so I decided to drive to the next closest Starbucks, which happened to be this one. I ordered a Double Chocolate Chip with extra drizzle. I didn't get the extra drizzle and my drink was half whip cream!! I was robbed!! I'll never come back to this one ever again!! I'll drive into Santee next time!! read more

This is my first time visiting this Starbucks location and I have to say the barista working the drink orders is INCREDIBLE. It stinks that I didn't catch her name because she deserves a huge call out. She's all by herself making drinks and serving up the food and she's NAILING it. She got my drink made in less than 2 minutes from ordering it and that was while she was juggling three orders ahead of mine. She was friendly, social and handling the stress of handling the counter all by herself like a pro! Whoever you are YOU'RE INCREDIBLE! Thanks for helping me get caffeinated today! read more

Literally 15-20 mins to place an order, only two people working when there's a line out the door. The customer service is garbage and who ever is managing this location needs to figure out a better structure on having more people working during peek hours. Why would I wait 20 mins for a cup of coffee? Pretty sure everyone coming in is spending enough money to have an extra body to work. read more

I am wondering why they no longer have the menu posted... They had adverts for new items, but no menu. Odd choice.

Remade my drink to my liking with no haste or questions asked, always friendly and tries their best to cater to whatever needs you have! Great location. read more

I love this startbucks the workers are always so nice and the drinks are perfect

Only been here once before...it was super packed and busy. But they were nice and worked as fast as they could. Today it's chill hardly anyone here. It's across the street from a high school so it gets really busy before and after school hours. I'll come here again read more

Wow! Thank you to this Starbucks for being so considerate and thoughtful to my son. We were out on our daily walk and he wanted a drink. We only had cash on us. When he ordered he wasn't aware of the cards only (due to COVID-19). Instead of turning him away, they gave him his drink for free. What a great way to start someone's morning! Thank you! read more

I enjoy going to this location. Friendly staff, great service! Really make you feel welcome.

Best customer service in the area, workers are ALWAYS very positive & welcoming to their customers. Love coming here. Thank you guys

Drinks are very disgusting, they don't take the time out to really make your coffee. I've gotten three drinks from this place three different times an my experience on going here is horrible. To much milk being put into the drinks less coffee. read more

I enjoy starbucks, most of the time it is great customer service. This location, however, is terrible; the employees are absolutely rude. They enjoy critisizing custom orders and informing me of how "disgusting" they sound. I will never return to this location. read more

Remodeled, friendly baristas who are the best in Santee. My fave location

Every time I use this Sbux for convenience, I am annoyed. The service is slow, even with no customers in line. The baristas are drab, robotic and almost seem bothered. Seldom do I get a smile. They have refused to do a decaf pour-over in the evenings on several occasions, because their equipment was already put away at 7PM. If they have reg decaf in the AM, the bottom of my husbands cup is full of grounds. We have waited for plain old poured coffee's for 5 minutes, with no apologies for delay - or even a hint at a free drink coupon. My suggestion? Go to Trolley Center or even the VONS Sbux. read more

Honestly I love this Starbucks!! The baristas here always make my drinks right. Every drink that I order comes out amazing! I order at different stores but no one else can get it right like these guys. The baristas here actually take the time and read what's on my order, no matter if they're super busy. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to help me out. This store is always clean no matter what time of day I stop by. There's a Starbucks near my house, but I drive all the way over here because I know that I can count on these guys to make my order right!! I am very pleased with this Starbucks and I wish that every store was like this! Thanks you Santee Starbucks for making my day sweeter and better! read more

I hate to pick a favorite but the workers at this location seem to make my Cold Brew better and tastier, they are always kind and welcoming as well and it's very clean. Thank you for everything! read more

Honestly. She added the ingredients in a weird order so it needed to be thoroughly stirred. She was going to put on the whip then my last shot until I stopped her. She tried to get away with stirring using a green plug stick but I insisted she stir with a spoon. You'd think she'd use the long handled one but no, the big fat one with the short handle. Bottom line is its unstinted and separated into layers of coffee, milk and mocha. Typical millennial!!! If asked I'm sure she'd say "I put the spoon in, so now it's stirred". Seriously, I asked her 3 times and still couldn't get a good mocha read more

Not my favorite Starbucks, but once you get past the kids from Santana smoking and making out in front and get the liquid hug only Starbucks can give, it's A-OK. Just OK. read more

Always enjoy a good drink wether hot or cold, my new found favorite is the Mocha Coconut frap, next time I am going to add caramel.

Kaelin is a white stallion on bar. Kaelin doesn't make drinks wrong, you order drinks wrong. If kaelin had a business card it would simply say "I'll call you" but she wouldn't cuz you ain't s**t. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks since the day it opened. Great location, with the exception of a little while where there was bad management. Now there is a new manager& this is a great location. Great baristas...very friendly, too! Only problem...if you sit inside, bring a jacket...even in summer,it's always cold! read more

We waited in line for ages before getting to the front. How can they only have 2 people working on a Fri morning? Edited to add-gave it another try last month, once again it took forever to get my drink. read more

I come to this location occasionally. I have never had a problem with my order here. Whenever I come in, there is someone behind the counter to greet me even if they are busy doing something. I was compelled to write a review about this store, because of my last visit a few weeks ago. It was in the evening when I realized my birthday reward was going to expire. I didn't want to lose a reward drink so I headed to the closest store. I didn't know what to order, and had been staring at the menu for a minute before asking the cashier how the new butterscotch drink tasted. She honestly said that she hadn't tried it yet, but if I have time she will make a small cup for both of us to try. It was okay, but not something I felt like having that evening. I ended up getting a frappuccino, and had it split in two cups so I can share with my son. To me that customer service was exceptional, and Alana did a super job! This location has ample seating, and a quaint outdoor patio area. The store was clean and organized when I was there. Employees are quick and efficient. Prices, well we all know Starbucks has a reputation of charging a lot for a cup of Joe, but they are in the same range as their competitors. read more

Worst location in all of San Diego! When they don't take 20mins to serve your drink they are messing it up. I'll never return to this location read more

This is my favorite Starbucks ever! I have named three employees there the "Dream Team." They always remember my drink order whenever I come in there, and I get a hug every time I walk through the door from one of the employees! They are so kind there!! I absolutely LOVE this place!!! read more

Baristas are always friendly, cheerful, happy, energetic and sometimes flirty, thus makes a nice encounter. Seems always clean inside,as for outside that is a different story, cigarette smoke fills the doorway and disrespectful teenagers flood the outside seating area, thus makes a negative encounter. Parking is limited to 4 spaces all within inches of the neighboring parked car, your best bet is to park in the Albertsons parking area and walk over , just watch for the young A hole drivers that speed through the lot like it is a damn Nascar track, paying NO Attention pedestrian traffic or to the stop signs that are placed in said lot. read more

Okay. I'd never normally review a business like this. However. I went in this morning for a cup of coffee for the first time at this location. When I got about 3/4 through my cup I was surprised to notice I had a mouthful of coffee grinds. Not exactly the best feeling. Pretty annoying when a coffee shop cant get the most simple thing right. read more

This Starbucks has gone downhill in the last 2 years. we go almost daily and pre order our coffee so we do the have to wait in the high school line. it's like they don't know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte. Today I ordered a triple cappuccino and it's full to the top in a venti cup. Ummmmmmmmm, that's a latte. over it read more

It always smells like a wet moldy rag in here and the floors and tables are always dirty.

So it's a quite little shop, great ambience and music...A/C needs controlling at times when I'm doing my studying. The one flaw that really grinds my gears is no matter how many times I come in...the pastries are always old and they never replenish their stock. read more

LOVE this starbucks. They have never messed up my drink order. They keep the line flowing during peak hours. It is across from Santana high school, so it is packed after school. So if your going to study, it can be a little loud during those hours. It is always clean at this starbucks read more

I like this Sbux! They have a really good green tea with honey, this and the Mocha Frap have become my usual drinks here. Love the remodel as well, the place really needed that. read more

Two people were in front of me in line, the store was relatively empty, and it took 17 min for a passion tea lemonade to be made... Really? They need to step it up. Slowest Starbucks on earth read more
