Hands down my fave Starbucks in east county. As a local, there are so many Starbucks in this area, but this location takes the cake. The staff is friendly and efficient they truly don't mess around with your order and always get it right. They make great suggestions if you're stuck on what you're in the mood for but if you're trying to get in and out even with it being such a busy location located across from the high school, they still get your order out fast! My coffee is consistently good and made properly unlike The other locations in the area. If you're gonna go to Starbucks in the Santee Lakeside area this is the one to go to. read more

Even with the craziness that comes with this location being near 2 schools, in the middle of a busy shopping center, and so many homes to people on their way to work... they keep up with the fast pace, are friendly without it seeming forced, remember their customers, and nearly always get the drinks correct. In the rare instances where there may be an incorrect order, they are quick to fix the situation. They always offer great service. Victoria is amazing! She's fast and friendly. Collin and Jocilyn (I think is her name) are great too. read more

Here's my venti Chestnut praline latte. Ordered online for pick up and once I got to work opened it to see it a quarter of the way unfilled and no whip cream, as it's supposed to come with. Wtf. read more

Starbucks - Not filled and missing whipcream... - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, California

Pleasant staff while the complimentary drinking water scandal gets solved. Not far from target store.

I ordered my drink at the wrong location for pick up and this store was very friendly and accommodating. I spoke with Ally, shift leader, who was more than willing to make sure my drink was either refunded or made for me regardless. I normally do go to this Starbucks after my workouts and the service has always been super friendly and quick. There's tons of parking and chairs. read more

This store is dirty and it smells going in. It's not your typical Starbucks with happy people. I will not return. The owner should deep clean the whole store including windows. Location is nice with parking read more

This SB was nice and chilly on a hot Santee day. They also made my Iced Vanilla Latte perfectly. Seems like the staff knew a lot of the locals passing through. read more

Incredibly rude and sarcastic employees, I won't be coming back here anymore. It's really not that hard to be polite

Tyler was super awesome and kind! Our drink was missing heavy cream and he offered to remake it but we told him he only had to add it. Great service! read more

The last 4 times that I've been into this location, was thee worst customer service I've ever had at any Starbucks. They are Rude and will ignore you even if there isn't anyone else inside. I will not be returning to this location even though I live across the street. Horrible experience. read more

Friendly and very busy Starbucks all hours of the day. I've been here with my school group on a few separate occasions and they have customers coming in and out all day long. But the staff is efficient, so there's never a long annoying line. They made my Chai Latte, extra hot perfectly here. I loved that the baristas were really friendly to what I assume are regular customers. They knew their names and greeted them with smiles. They were also nice to rare visitors like myself as well. Its always nice to see a friendly face when you have to get work and life done early in the morning. Overall a very clean Starbucks with ample parking. No drive-thru. read more

This a pretty nice and quite busy Starbucks. I say that because the girls who work here very nice during my visit, but the line was not messing around. Luckily the Baristas' were quite efficient in their trade. In addition to my typical Americano, I ordered a cheesy bagel toasted and served with a side of Kerrygold butter. The butter was hard, so after I applied it to the bagel, I asked them to re toast the bagel, so the butter would melt (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-santee-2?select=cSt4wjftgbmJZOx6E9nHvA#-Jp67xnF9f9-Y41KEv6JqA). In the end, the bagel was good and the cheese on the outside gave it that extra oomph...which was good and crunchy (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-santee-2?select=cSt4wjftgbmJZOx6E9nHvA#-PV6-ltS9EyVII8DwnRXeA). The Ameicano was strong but easy to drink with a nice robust after taste. This location sports some good size study tables and a good updated WiFi signal. I'll be sure to stop in at this location when I am in need and in the area. read more

Horrible customer service! Called to confirm what time they closed, which was 7:30 p.m. and arrived they decided to close 15 minutes earlier. Door was locked and barista came out and refused to serve me. Will not be coming back. read more

Everyone at every Starbucks we've been to and served by have been consistently nice and professional and it's apparent that they do their best every day to provide a great experience. I and my family appreciate all that you do and wanted to say thank you read more

So I thought I would try again. Went in. Asked for a grande veranda because that's what it shows to be on the pot. Was told that they don't have that right now because they're only serving pikes. You're a dog gone coffee shop why don't you have all the coffee that you have shown up there ready to go absolutely useless. Why would I even come back here ever again I will not come back here ever again at least not to this store. Matter fact I may not even come back to another Starbucks you guys are useless. read more

Doppio too cold or cappuccino that is really a latte, lame pastries and clotted breakfast sandwiches on horrible croissants -- Starbucks has it all. Try a good donut store. read more

This location is good and the baristas are great and for the most part fast. I recommend avoiding in the morning before 8am though unless you have time to wait because it is across from the Highschool and it gets packed with students before the school starts. Horrible, they asked my name to call for order, I said it is su*** and I spelled it for them. When they called for order, the woman said 'tall coffee with light cream and one sugar order'. Well, there is nothing wrong with the name it is very sweet name, you just got it as 'sue me' which is not what the name sounds like, but since you don't know the pronunciation and didn't bother to clarify, you thought it is 'sue me' you rather chose not to call by name and just shout coffee in that crowd. This action could be categorized as racism. It is sweet name and my friends and family love to call me by this name. But reading other reviews, it seems like they regularly practice this kind of behavior, and nobody cares to bother about this branch. read more

One star because I have to! All the regular employees are gone and the new staff is awful! Not to mention that they try to claim they can't take 100 bill because they don't have enough change. They have never had issues taking 100's before! So sad to see such a great location go down hill!!! They really need trainings from the employees that left to other locations. This is by far the worse!!!! read more

This is my go-to location in Santee because 1. It's close to my job and my son'schildcare and 2. They are great here! The employees are starting to know who I am, I am the mobile order queen and it's so convenient that I am able to order this way because I am in and out of there in a jiffy! I definitely feel most at home at this magnolia store and all of the staff are friendly! Thanks for my awesome macchiatos guys (: read more

I work at a LOT of Starbucks around town, but I have my "go-to's" and THIS is probably the top of that list. The mananger, Amy really runs a tight ship, keeps things moving and maintains a great funloving atmosphere in the store. I will say though that when she's not in the store or actually on the floor, it's not quite the same experience and could use some serious TLC, but the crew is still pretty decent and respectful. We regulars typically get treated well at any starbucks, so that's kind of a given... But kudos to Amy for really knowing how to keep things light and happy even when they're slammed. Great job! read more

We came here to meet our potential DJ for our wedding tonight. Im not the biggest fan of Starbucks because I dont drink alot of coffee and if I do, I refuse to pay 5 bucks for it. I only get something if A. I am in the airport and have a gift card. They loooove giving out Starbucks giftcards at my work. or B. I am meeting someone there that wants to go aka DJ tonight. This Starbucks is pretty mellow though. Ive been here a few times and its always chill. They have pretty decent hot chocolate and a Frapacino or however you spell it tastes alright a few times a year. read more

I'm really disappointed. My friend and I both had ordered the new ultra caramel frap in a venti. We asked for extra caramel, like it doesn't already come with enough. the the ultra caramel frap is already suppose to come with more than the usual caramel frap. but of course we asked for extra. anyways, once our orders came out it was a sad drink in a half. the drink wasn't even filled to the top and there was less caramel than normal AND WE ASKED FOR EXTRA! also the whipped cream so sad. there was barely any and the top or bottom of the drink. it also sucks bc we had to pay extra for the caramel and we didn't even get the standard amount that it should already come with. (also my friend works at another starbucks so she knows how exactly it should be made). anyways. don't order any extra in there because you'll probably not get it for the price you pay for. smh read more

i find these "bad" (untrue) reviews hilarious and am happy to see most of them removed. nobody cares and is refusing to serve you because of your red shirt, marissa. anyways! this is the best and my favorite starbucks i've ever been to. fast, efficient, and always make my drink perfectly! shout out to hailey, alex, sean, david, & mandy. they are literally my dream team. i'm always greeted when i walk in the door by every single one of them (no matter what color i'm wearing ;)) and i'm always impressed by their service. i have visited this store 100+ times and have never had a bad experience here. they even have free masks for people who forget to wear one in, because come on people, it's november, i know you have one somewhere. thank you to this staff for always exceeding my expectations and always making me feel amazing! read more

Starbucks - a face mask for customers who don't have one - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Santee, California

I've been here multiple times and on many separate occasions they fail to read the label. EXAMPLE: I order a hot chai and they made an Iced. I constantly see them giving out the wasted product and shrug their shoulders. If you just took the time to read the labels you wouldn't be losing out and re making drinks. The sweet girl around 5AM is why I would come and would never have any problems. I'm not sure about this afternoon crew. I spend about $5-10 a DAY at this Starbucks location and would hate to have to go out of my way to ensure that my mobile orders are actually correct BUT it's looking that way. UPDATE 4/27 I had to take back a star and leave them at 1 if I could rate 0 I would. I started going out of my way to the Trolly Square Starbucks despite the fact that this one is right next to my home. I tried to give them multiple chances and nothing ever seems to change. It shouldn't take 10+ minutes to serve an iced green tea. Nothing special. Nothing fancy. 3 girls behind the counter and 1 person was before me. Store was pretty dead. They had zero sense of urgency. They had time to talk amongst themselves and that never seems to be a problem for them. I'm to the point where I'm going to have to contact corporate because I've never been in a Starbucks establishment where I received constant horrible service. It's upsetting. I'm not even one to yelp but this has irritated me that much. read more

I stop here before my workouts during the week. My beverage of choice: Green Ice Tea. I order from the app 99% of the time. My order is always ready when I arrive; on time. The baristas are very friendly. The station behind the counter is kept clean, at least from my view. I really enjoy sitting in the leather seats waiting on my class to start. The atmosphere is great!! There is a HUGE teen crowd here, but it's to be expected being across from Santana HS. I haven't had any problems here. Great spot. read more

Starbucks, you have the right person for the job. Jenna is wonderful, a total jem. I have been getting a pink drink blend (sometimes with coconut sometime with almond milk BLENDED since before it was the pink drink was on secret menu. Now with a banana blended in its low calorie with that banana boost. Your team member Jenna says hi Kim, as soon as I walk in, then do you want your usual. Love it, all of the local customers love the personalization. Whatever you are paying her, she deserves another raise. Thanks having a great team at Starbucks on Mast @ Magnolia, doubly thanks for having Jenna on the team. She is exceeding expectations everyday. I do hope cooperate will read this review. On Wednesday September 4, 2019 at approximately 3:20 p.m. i went to this Starbucks and ordered 3 Venti drinks (2 frappuccinos and 1 green iced tea). The two gentleman behind the counter were working hard, running around to try to keep up with all the Santana high School kids coming in (line was nearly at the door) mostly ordering water. To that end, after ordering my drinks (probably waiting longer than average wait time to get them) the server missed giving me straws. The two young men were so busy just by chance a women was walking behind the counter (seemingly not renderering help to them). I asked her for straws. She said, "he'll get them for you" and just walked away. Her tone and attitude is what really got me! My mouth dropped as did the mouth of the customer next to me waiting for her drink. He colleagues were VERY busy and she was doing nothing. Such attitude! Such laziness. No TEAM WORK, no customer service. Honestly, I was so shocked for me to be treated with such dismissal as was her colleagues were treated. Starbucks, please speak to this employee. What recourse do customers have when treated badly? Of course, I won't be back. I would appreciate a reply from Corporate! read more

I ordered a tuxedo with almond milk and when they just made it, I asked for extra ice in a small cup and was rudely told by the barista "they can't do that." While saying so, they started to complain about their job under their breathe and mock me. I don't usually write reviews because I have never had such a problem at any store. In this case though, I was presented with very very poor customer service and will not be coming back, in addition, anger and mocking has zero place in such an interactive customer service... read more

Just came to this location for the first time and it was a shit show. Totally unprofessional. And very disrespectful. I ordered 3 drinks and 2 hot sandwiches. They made my sandwiches first and they sat on the counter for 20 min while I waited for my drinks. I asked who the manager was and the girl I believe her name was Kayla said it was her and a man named Tom. She asked what was wrong. So I told her my hot sandsandwiches are now cold from sitting for 20 min. She replies with a very rude "Well we sandwiches first, I can re heat them if you'd like" Totally rude and unprofessional. I'll never go to this location ever again. And I'll be sure to spread the word on their poor quality and nasty attitude. read more

I love the menu here- so many choices. I had the cheese danish today with a Carmel frappe and it was very yummy. They have excellent coffee and iced tea. I would recommend this place for anyone that loves Starbucks. This particular location the customer service is always great. They are very friendly and the service is always fast. They have that secret menu so my daughter loves to ask for the Special Cotton candy Frappe. Always a plus for us. Check it out. read more

If you want to get treated like trash come to this location. Went in at 8:20 thinking that location closes at 9pm like all other Starbucks locations. Turns out they close at 8:30. However we're still in before closing, we do hate to be those people but it was a cold night and our group wanted a warm drink. The barista tries make us all order the same thing, but we all have different likings. We were a group of 6. One of our friends gets her drink and walks out while we wait for our drinks. That friend walked back in just to ask for a sugar packet and a guy (didn't get his name) continued to say in a condescending voice "you need to leave" repeatedly. Keep in mind, we were still waiting for our drinks. As a person who works for Costco, we treat each and every single person first and last to come into our store with respect. This Starbucks should do the same. read more
