They said they won't be able to help customers because they haven't prepped the register yet. For the most part, the coffees here are consistent, but from time to time, there have been issues with the Late's and some other coffees, especially on the weekends. I feel there have been a few, too many turn over when it comes to their employees. I'm sure the senior staff trains the staff as best as they can. I woke up and realized there was an outage in my area. Of course I rushed to the nearest Starbucks for some coffee and Wi-Fi. It was 5:30 in the morning and there were 2 girls up front. They didn't greet me at ALL when I came in. I stood at the counter and the heavy set one who was putting the pastries in the display muttered "Be right with you" under her breathe. To the employee who was "working" the register at 8ish AM on 11/18/22, when you run into a club buddy/friend etc., play catch up on your own time. Assume your actual customers have a life to get to. This visit was the day after Starbucks' red cup event - so this location ran out of everything, apparently. The woman who was chatting with this cashier, ask for several items which Starbucks was all out of. After finally selecting alternatives and completing her order, the cashier then continued their conversation "So, where did you go after..." I walked out! WTAF! I was fine while this woman went through the menu, but at what point is it OK to inconvenience your customers for the sake of booty call nights? I have been in this location a handful of times - and each time employees are behind the counter while the front is a mess and filthy around the serving area. The tables are never - ever cleaned off. Management at this location needs to get it together. The red cup event is not a surprise event but a planned event. The fact that this location ran out of most items - speaks volume on management's skills and preparation which was none. There are two registers here, instruct employees to open the second register when you have a line or in my case - when an employee is chatting. Please and thank you. read more

This is my local Starbucks!! I redeemed a free drink yesterday and I must admit, it was delicious. I'm not the person to really ever get fraps but I got a cinnamon dolce one with almond milk. And that hit the spot! I'm really glad they made sure to have it with almond because of some lactose issues I have. They are always very nice here, albeit a bit slow sometimes. I feel like this location needs to know - that when we place mobile orders, we shouldn't be waiting 45 min for ONE drink just because there's kids who ordered tons of drinks at a time in person. I kept asking the cashier person if mines coming up - and he simply told me "Sorry, people are ordering complicated drinks in person" like okay ... but I ordered 45 min ago ... ON THE APP. Once again going to update my review. I am officially done going to this Starbucks. I went today to pick up my order, arriving 5 minutes after the time it was said to be ready. There was about 25 people in the store standing around waiting for drinks. Someone said the mobile orders were about 45 minutes. Literally the worst Starbucks I've been to and will probably ever go to. They take forever with mobile orders, despite having 5-6 people working at a time, and they have really bad attitudes. THEY ARE SO RUDE. I can understand being backed up on mobile orders if there are an overwhelming amount of in person orders and only 3 or 4 employees working a shift but this is not the case. On top of all of this, they're very unapologetic and don't give the time of day or acknowledge the customers that are frustrated (rightfully so). HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE From the two males working this evening. I walked in probably right before closing without realizing it. The female behind the counter was actually really sweet and helpful. She took my order with patience and a smile. Really really sweet girl. I ordered a kids hot chocolate, two small chocolate frappes, a large iced caramel macchiato and an iced water. The guy who made my drinks, didn't say anything. Just put my drinks on the counter. I asked for the water, he was actually already making it and then hands it to me. I said thank you and he just looked at me without a reply. I thought it was weird but whatever. I gave all my kids their drink and the baby his chocolate. Scrambling getting my keys and wallet and drinks together I see my 2 year old son spit out his drink quickly after taking a big sip with pain in his face. He made my kids hot chocolate boiling hot. To the point is just tasted like hot water! I didn't think to check it because I always get my boys KIDS HOT CHOCOLATES and they're always WARM. Like they're SUPPOSED TO BE. So I took a sip and it literally burned my tongue with the small sip that I tried. I instantly felt so bad for my son who at this point just burned his entire mouth with this drink. I gave him some of my ice water to help with the burn. I never visit this location and I've never experienced this at other stores. I asked him if kids hot chocolates were meant to be warm, he didn't say anything. The girl said yes and I told him to make me a new one. He just grabs the drinks and attempts a second time. I'm already annoyed but I'm just trying to make sure my son is ok. He gives me the second one, and this time I taste it first. It's HOT! Still hot. How?!? I told him, this is STILL HOT. Aren't kids hot chocolates supposed to be WARM?!?! The girl said yes, we push a special button and it comes out warm. They're supposed to be at a lower temperature than other drinks. The guy STILL says NOTHING!! I told him this is too hot and I need a new drink. He grabs the drink, makes a new one and this time it's closer to cold but whatever. At least it not HOT. The last two were so hot they tasted like really hot water. No flavor at all. This time it was actually a little sweet. I grabbed my drink and gathered my kids. He didn't say he was sorry, he didn't ask if my kid was ok. He didn't CARE. I'm not going to lie, I went OFF on this guy before I left. I told him he had zero customer service skills and his excuse was that "he had stuff to do". Wtf?!? Are you serious?! I'm definitely calling tomorrow morning. This is so ridiculous. read more

I love this Starbucks I never was really into them before but I work there for hours. I enjoy their drinks, the shop itself is nice with a good amount of tables and chairs and every person I've met that works there is nice and welcoming I've never had a single remotely bad experience. Walked into the mostly-empty store today and noticed on my way to the register that there was a sign for "Komodo Dragon Blend | Available in pour-over" and thought that sounded like a fun drink for a Friday. Upon ordering, I received a puzzled and highly inconvenienced look from the barista/cashier and he questioned my order of "a pour-over". I responded with, "Yeah, that'd be great - thanks!" After waiting the few extra minutes that comes along with making a pour-over coffee, I grabbed my cup and got into my car and drove off. I took a drink a few minutes later (because Starbucks coffees are made roughly around the temperature of molten lead) and realized it did not taste like the blend I had ordered. I looked at the sticker on the cup and read: Gr Po Dcf Ppr. Aka a decaf standard coffee. How petty. Not even creative. Spell my name incorrectly or something - do something funny at least. 0 stars for your creativity, sir. This is a nice Starbucks location located on the corner of Western and Westmont. Albertson's, Rite-Aid, and Carrow's Restaurant are in the same shopping center. I agree with Rob A., this location is way more shaded than others, allowing for a nice and comfortable afternoon sitting outside. At times it gets full both inside and outside, especially on a hot day. For the life of me, I can't figure out how people sit inside, because it is always cold in there, like a walk-in freezer. I can barely stand to be in there long enough to get my drink. One good thing is that they are one of the bigger and busiest locations and they have plenty of seating, both inside and out . Savanah R. is definitely correct on this one. At the same time, that can be a bit of a problem. On weekday mornings, the line can reach the front of the door. They do very well getting the line down, but you still have to wait for your drink, which takes way more time than ordering does if it's busy. In all, the staff is nice. There are a few employees who act weird in a stank sort of way, but for the most part, everyone is cool. read more

This location is great. Me and my friend meet up at this starbucks since it's midway between Torrance and San Pedro. This location is bigger than the other starbucks we met at. This place is your usual starbucks but there are regulars here. These group of old men are always here having a nice conversation. Some bad things are that internet is slow, need more power outlets, and possibly have bigger tables rather than have many small tables? It was hard to get work done on a small round table with two people sitting at this table with laptops. read more

Convenient, comfortable little store located next to the new Britt's BBQ and Supercuts. I stop in the morning on occasion when I'm out of my own coffee and / or creamer at home, lol. (FYI... The wife and I still think I make the best coffee on earth but I, and she, are probably just a smidge biased). Anywho... They provide fast, efficient service with a smile, as well as with the usual perks of any other Starbucks, (free Wi-Fi, clean, private restrooms, breakfast goodies, etc). But alas, like other Starbucks, they are overpriced. But since I'm not a regular per se', I can deal with the infrequent / occasional highway robbery...
