Not sure if it was a "off" day when I went but I had terrible service. First, understandably, the barrista had trouble hearing me but then she remained really hostile for the remainder of the encounter. It was my first time using the app and I pulled up the wrong screen to scan to pay and the barrista got really annoyed. She kept telling me it was wrong but I didn't realize the correct screen was a swipe away. I ended up paying by physical credit card but she could have saved both of us time and told me to swipe the screen. The drinks were made quickly and correctly but she didn't call them out when they were done. She just left them on the counter. I don't normally give a low review when the drink is made well and quickly but I don't want to go back if that hostile barrista is going to be there. read more

I love the Starbucks team members here! They are always so nice and always remember my name when I walk in, which is always really nice. I recommend not coming in between 8-10 on Saturdays because there's a very large group (about 30-40) bicycle riders that stop here for drinks and you will be waiting FOREVERRRR. read more

By far the most patient and sweetest staff...I mean have you seen some of the rude customers they deal with lol??? I was craving a coffee after work and ran over to grab one. There were two ladies in front of me and small group waiting for their coffees. Both ladies in front of my wanted hot water..only hot water,and the lovely gentleman behind the counter explained the policy. Now one lady wasn't happy but accepted it...the other one,you would think she was told she wasn't allowed to wear that god awful lipstick she had on for the rest of her life.She was disrespectful and they way she spoke to him was unacceptable... but this young man ,Raymond,handled it so professionally. he was kind and had a smile on his face the whole time!!! He quickly made all the customers drinks (blended and custom made) and stopped to check on some customers who knocked over the mug display... ya they smashed that shit lol. Very poor attitude and service fro Jazmin V. On Saturday, I was her only customer, I was NEVER GREETED by this girl, she charged me for two coffees, and only took out one cup, when I questioned her, she said , "you only want one" (you only pulled one cup", wanted to make another purchase, she snapped me up and said "yeah when I get a chance" there were no other customers at that time, she was slow and angry, once two other customers came to the counter, she sat my coffee on the counter, and proceeded to help the two new customers, she finally rang up my item, after she finished with them, she needs to find a job where she does not have to deal with PEOPLE, I have never encountered this type of behavior AT STARBUCKS, GET RID OF JAZMIN V. This is, hands down, the worst Starbucks I've ever stepped foot into. This location is ALWAYS out of supplies. That is the biggest annoyance to me because it's usually caramel syrup that they are out of. This happens so often (I'd say 9/10 times) that I usually ask if they have syrup on hand before ordering my drink. The part that I find odd is that this Starbucks is located in a grocery store, and they rather make alternative drinks for customers than just pick up a bottle of syrup from the store that they're already in. In the past they have also run out of cups on several occasions. This isn't a huge issue, as they usually hook me up with a Venti when they run out of Grande cups, which is every freaking week! There creamer is always out, and that entire station is always in disarray. Another issue is that this location is never staffed with the proper number of baristas. About 4-5 months ago they had two AWESOME female baristas working there (Alyssa and Ashley) and they totally rocked. Coffee was made fast, they were never out of supplies, and they understood the concept of customer service. Now, this location is always seriously understaffed and when they are staffed, it's always with slow baristas that don't understand that the people going there for coffee would like to do so in under 15 minutes. This morning I stopped by, desperate for a Venti anything. I know they are always out of stock, so I enter the situation knowing that I am not going to get the drink I want, but rather the drink that they are able to make with what few items they have available. I get there and the line is out the door. I'm exhausted, and already in the store so I figure I will suffer thru the wait. 20 minutes later, I'm finally at the register and waiting for the ONE barista to bang out the three Frappuccino's (I would refer to it as a caramel Frappuccino, however, they were out) it he was moving at a snail's pace! I finally just decided it wasn't worth it and left. 15 minutes late for work, and no coffee. I really hate to leave such a nasty review, but this location is very close to my office and it would be awesome if they could finally get their s*it together so that I can conveniently get my coffee every morning. read more

STONECREST PLAZA STARBUCKS (next to Rubios)!!! Most Unorganized, Hot Mess of a Starbucks!!! I stopped going to this Starbucks about 4 months ago because they freakin suck! They always got my orders wrong or would take FOREVER to make it. I switched over to the Starbucks on Clairemont Mesa/Overland because they are amazing and so well put together (I love them). But this morning, I had no choice but to go to this raggedy ass Stonecrest Starbucks and again they got my drink all wrong! I ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and all I got was the cold brew, no vanilla!! no sweat cream!! How do you completely miss the vanilla and sweat cream???? That's the whole purpose of the drink, its in the freakin name!!!!!! Trust me when I say I'd rather go to the Starbucks on Euclid Ave. next to the ghetto ass Euclid trolley station!!! read more

Consistently slow and drinks are not up to standard. I ordered a cloud macchiato and Essentially ended up with an iced latte- no cloud. The problem with asking them to remake the drink is then I'm stuck waiting another 15 minutes and I don't have that kind of time in my day so this will be my last visit. I can't believe I'm writing a review for a Starbucks that's inside of a Von's, but I feel compelled to. This Starbucks CONSTANTLY has terrible service. I always give them another chance but pretty consistent bad attitudes and unknowledgeable staff. Disappointing. Bad customer service. I got attitude from the cashier and the person making my coffee. I have a very good friend who works at Starbucks and she hates it when people are bad at being Starbucks employees. And I am really glad she was not with me just now. My order was not correct, but tasted okay. I asked for extra flavor in my chai and it tastes mor elite water than chai. This is my second time here, last time I asked for "pour over" version of my coffee and they just poured it right out of the main tank of old coffee. Please, someone step in and make it better over here. My roommates and and friends who live in this neighborhood all tell me to skip this place. Now I am convinced. Meh... I do like their cheese danish! I went in to buy a cheese danish yesterday and they were all sold out. I instead ordered a piece of pumpkin bread (mmmm punkin bread! ;D) and it was very stale. I didn't open it to find that it was stale until I got home. SInce it was stale I ate ramen, which made me very sad since I really wanted a tasty baked good. I've noticed that they take care of there fast drinks customers first. I even said a HAPPY St. Patrick Day greeting to the Barista José who took my order and was not customer service orientated. Then 5 customers after me and me asking the status of my drink. Brunette Female Bartista said "Oh yours is next". MAYBE they need to go next door for the awesome Customer service I got at Einstein Bagels. There green bagels were delish. read more
