I haven't been here in years but I had a GREAT experience at Peet's Coffee!! Way to start the holiday festivities! I ordered a medium chai tea latte with oat milk and it took less than 30 minutes AT THE AIRPORT to get my drink and board my flight. The drink was extra hot so keep that in mind. So I ordered a vanilla cold brew with almond milk. I seriously watched her pour whole milk in to top off the coffee. A large, got me 1/4 cup of coffee and the rest was almond milk and whole milk. Getting ready to board a plane, so I ask you what if I had a severe allergic reaction to the milk you added? Anytime you are in a service type industry dealing with food/drink allergies are a real thing!! Do better! read more

I walk into the Peets to place an order and brrrr it was cold in there and it wasn't due to a lack of HVAC or furnace; it was the CS gal or maybe it was a robot? Maybe she was having a bad day however, she wasn't rude nor pleasant but indifferent and frankly it unlike any of my previous experiences, any other Peets. Now I enjoy Peets, vanilla lattes, in fact, I've drank enough of them over the years to feel like I can give a fair review one. Sadly, my coffee wasn't good either. This is a joke right? We had a breakfast that was microwaved and the cheese was non existent and the bread was hard. I think kit was stale which was strange because it was in the morning. I also had a chocolate croissant that was stale. Really disappointing before a flight. Would never go back and you should avoid this place. No idea about their coffee. read more

Seriously, how often do you get a coffee drink and it's pulled off to perfection? How often in an airport?? Seriously. Double espresso macchiato perfection. Not a lot of choices at the SAN Southwest terminal - I was happy to get coffee, luckier to get a perfect doppio macchiato - and they knew what it was and didn't try to put caramel syrup in it lol - with gratitude I post this 5 star rating. I love Peet's but this location in Terminal 2, in the main area before heading down to gate 28, where I passed another kiosk, gave me the worst experience. First no receipt, told to use text receipt but that does not load. Worse...coffee ( Major Dickinson) is either OLD (sat too long) or they can't brew coffee as off flavor, bitter. Sad!!! read more

I've walked past this place probably 50 times, usually because of time or because of the line/wait. On my 51st pass, I decided to give it a try. I was quite underwhelmed. The coffee wasn't bad but grossly overpriced and limited menu. But the breakfast sandwich which was $13 was rubbish. They slap together precooked eggs, bacon, etc, and microwave it. Of course I had to wait a good 10min for it to be ready, too. Place was crowded & cramped and I'm not taking peoples luggage into consideration. These Peet's people are killing here in Terminal 2. This is the only joint to grab a coffee in this specific section of the terminal, and they are very quick to fulfill orders accurately. They are busy busy busy all the time. Because this Peet's Coffee is so busy, they've streamlined the process by providing two ordering kiosks at the front of the shop. So all you have to do is step up, place your order on the kiosk, pay on the kiosk, then step aside and wait for your name to be called. I think I waited maybe one minute for my black coffee, which is great considering how busy they were. I think you can only order beverages at the kiosk, so it's great if you just want to get a quick coffee. They also sell food, which you can order at the counter. read more

Not bad for a quick bite... but could be better. I had an early morning flight out, so grabbed a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich. The Americano was just ok, very bitter though. The sandwich also weirdly had a bitter taste to it, and tasted a bit stale. It was the standard egg and cheese one. Service is pretty fast so I'm glad about that front. No seating around as it's in an airport. I think next time I'll just pack my own breakfast with instant coffee. read more

This place is pretty good. I ordered online, two beverages and two bakery items. It was very busy because it was one of the few food locations open at that early hour. Our beverages were just drip coffee, so I was surprised at how long it took, but also understand that it was very busy. The online menu didn't reflect actual availability at the cafe, so one of our bakery items was actually out of stock. They called me over and swapped it for something else of my choice, so no big deal. Baristas were friendly and attentive. read more

I've been in customer service my entire life. I understand that employees need to have fun when they work, but today was ridiculous. If I had never been to a Peet's Coffee, I would never go again, but thankfully, I go to one that has amazing customer service. The lady at the register suddenly left it and started making drinks while another male employee was on his phone while she was making all the drinks. he not only was on the phone the entire time, but didn't even look up once to see that there was a line growing. The other lady was stocking and laughing and chatting up a storm with the other two while I stood there for 5 minutes waiting to just get my order taken. My latte was cold when I finally got it and I had to remind her of my other drink that she forgot to make. She was too busy trying to socialize and didn't even read the room once as the line now had grown to over 20 people. Never again will I go to Peet's at any airport. I've never seen such horrible customer service before but I know this is not a reflection of the Peet's coffee brand and that's the only reason I leave 2 stars instead of 1. read more

My coworker and I ordered two different coffees here before our flight. When we went to pick them up there was no name or anything differentiating which drink was which and they looked identical. We asked the girl working there which was which and she was beyond rude and said there was ticket there before and she didn't know. Even if there was a ticket order that wouldn't tell us who's drink was who's. She continued to give us attitude and then put our drinks up to her nose and was (I can not make this up) SNIFFING them to make a show of trying to figure out what they were. I have pretty tempered expectations when it comes to airport food & beverage, however won't be making a return trip to the Peet's in Terminal 2. Breakfast sandwich looked good but was barely edible... no flavor, dry, and $8.20 on top of that. Got a cold brew which was equally bad, at least it was a couple bucks cheaper. So normally we don't have a great experience with airport coffee shops, but this Peet's did well. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. We got an iced and a hot coffee, both were very good. The service was quick and friendly. There is seating available in an area to the right of Peet's with tables. They also offer ordering through a kiosk or at the counter. Overall my go to when flying out of Terminal 1. read more
