Dear Better Buzz Team, I always have an amazing experience at Better Buzz, and the staff always greet me by name when I come in. Today, I went through the drive-thru and was helped by a gentleman named Josue--and let me tell you, he is officially my savior of the drive-thru! While I was ordering with him, there was a spider coming down from my window, clearly trying to attack me. For the record, I am TERRIFIED of all bugs, so naturally, I was about two seconds away from abandoning my vehicle. I was attempting to transfer myself over to the passenger seat--with my car still in drive, mind you--when Josue immediately acted fast, safely removed the spider, and quite literally saved my life... Isa greeted us with an upbeat personality and gave us recommendations that were spot on. A wonderful better buzz when it comes to service and drink quality. The staff is amazing and my drinks always taste delicious. Fast service too! I will say the drive thru line is insane since it's so short. Many do end up blocking the road and may not read the sign to only wait on the one side. Otherwise a wonderful location! read more

3.5 stars. This location was small. Staff were pleasant. I got the horchata latte. It tasted kinda chalky almost like too much concentrate. It wasn't horrible but definitely could be better. I had the Turkey pesto sandwich. Over all really good just wish there was more pesto to add more flavor. It would be really nice to see a three bin system for trash, compost and recycle. There were two really small trash cans that were overflowing. I ended up giving my trash to staff behind the counter and let them know the trash bins are too full. read more

Discovered this coffee shop on a recent trip to SD and I was instantly hooked! Location is kinda weird and hard to find parking, so we did drive thru and luckily it wasn't too long of a wait. Got the caramel vanilla latte with oat milk and it was perfection. Soo so good! I was craving it again so we came back again before leaving SoCal. I was kinda sad to leave sd and not be able to have this delicious coffee anymore. (The following week I was in Vegas and was so happy when I found out they had locations there, too!) Avocado Feta Deluxe is delicious, the honey latte is good for someone who wants something more sweet than bitter. Mango Buzz energy is just a straight smooth mango smoothie, does taste like there's an energy drink there somewhere but unsure what it could be. The place was very busy and I noticed a lot of people coming in and out. I tried their Best Drink Ever Coffee with a bear claw pastry. It's an Americano with vanilla. I've never been a coffee drinker but Better Buzz actually got me hooked on coffee during COVID. The service can be eh. I guess it just depends who you interact with. Nowadays everything is so rushed and they cut you off before you're finished talking. When it wasn't as popular I asked about what would they recommend and they recommended their basic Best Drink Ever. I loved the sweetness. I also get the Mocha Buzz Blended coffee. I wouldn't say it's the best coffee in the world but if I want a little sweet treat I'll come here. Parking does suck although there is a neighborhood near by so you can find parking. There is a small parking lot but the wrap around line for the drive thru made it very difficult to get in so we decided to park in the street adjacent. The place was bright and vibrant. The girl taking my order was bubbly and friendly. She was helpful in me making my choice given that it was my first time. We got a caramel frappe drink and the iced vanilla oat milk latte. Both were really good. They have lots of different drinks and flavors that look interesting. They also sell food and snacks. This was a great first experience of their brand. Maple pecan Danish-good, liked the everything cream cheese, a bit of a surprise because it was savory (thought it was something else-like a cheese Danish)-but good. better Breakfast sandwich-just ok-the pretzel part of the bread was super hard and seemed microwaved which was a big factor in the texture-so meh. I had to try this new and growing chain of coffee stores at some point. When I saw a drive thru right in front of me at the traffic light, it became an easy decision. It turned out to be a good one. While the place is tiny, the line moves quickly and the staff is authentically friendly, not like the fake smiles at the other chain with the windmill. The menu item that immediately caught my eye was their Best Drink Ever. For a coffee aficionado like me, that term is a challenge. However, after the first zip, I was sold. Food is excellent and fresh! We added bacon to the turkey pesto sandwich, omg! Only one side of the sandwich was toasted but it was still crispy and good. The acai bowl was refreshing and delightful. For the 5 days we were visiting San Diego, we got Better Buzz four times. Loved the Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew, Best Drink Ever, and OG Acai Bowl with almond butter. The regular sized hot Best Drink Ever is the same size as the Large Iced one. The Açaí bowl with the almond butter was delicious-- we got it 3 times. I tried the Hazelnut drink, but I didn't like it as much as the cinnamon cream cold crew and Best drink ever. The cinnamon cream cold brew was definitely my favorite. My boyfriend bought the vanilla cream powder they sell. He said it tastes so good when he adds it to his coffee. read more
