Usually I don't have many problems at this location, but I ordered ahead in the app today & the worker made my drink iced instead of hot (which is how I ordered it) when I let her know that the drink was supposed to be hot she snatched the drink from me, and got an attitude. Never apologized for the mistake or anything & then angrily set down my remade drink. I even said thank you and she continued with her attitude. They also lack at using the app properly, it said my order was ready while I was standing in there, yet, my drink was not ready for another few minutes. The lady messed my drink up. I also asked her to redo it because there's no caramel drizzle on my cup that they charged me extra. Instead of redo my drink she said she'll just poor it all into a new cup. So all the foam would be mixed in not at the top like I asked for. To top that off she put all foam and barely any green tea matcha. I didn't ask for extra foam or my whole drink to be foam. It's been a while (at least for me) since I've been to a Starbucks. Fortunately this particular location had plenty of tables (even a big bench!) and an outlet was pretty easy to find. They've got a bunch of dog-friendly tables outside and even a water bowl for your pooch. I decided to try something new today and went with the vanilla bean Frappuccino. While it was pretty good and you could taste the bean, it simply reminded me of a shake versus a real frap. In other words, it was kind of boring. Service at this location seems sort of indifferent and the baristas talked to customers in kind of an abrupt tone. As a place to work from though, it was pretty good. It's quiet and convenient and there is tons of parking and places to get a quick bite to eat. There's really nothing special about this location. Generally, I feel that the service is severely lacking- borderline unfriendly, reserved at best. Not every single employee but I'd say at least 75% of the time I'm here I don't feel welcome. There's plenty of seating (mostly indoor, but also some seats outdoors as well). Great customer care is the norm here. The coffee is good if you know what to order. I typically order the iced coffee, sweetened, with half & half. All the blended drinks are great as well. But, I pick up a vivano with extra chocolate when I don't want a coffee. It can be very difficult to find a seat sometimes, both day and night. read more

This is my work Starbucks, and the people working here are really nice. They are Starbucks-efficient, although one time they put sugar free vanilla syrup into my latte instead of regular. Gross, I thought I was in hell and couldn't even finish my drink. There is almost always an open table to sit and do work, although it is often very cold here (that's why it's 4, not 5 stars). Great location, there is a such a variety of different people that go in there, even homeless guys, the staff are nice to them but only nice enough so they can leave politely. My go-to Starbucks when I want more peace and quiet. They're not as busy as the Mira Mesa location - I feel like I have to fight for a seat there. The baristas here are really nice and they always make my drinks taste better, for some reason. I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I was grocery shopping at Vons and they had this pink frappe with whipped cream sample. It looked very yummy and it was! I kept thinking about it all day, should have bought it. I was determined to get it in the morning. We'll I didn't know what is was so I said I wanted the sample from yesterday. It's a standard Starbucks. I don't frequent it on a daily basis since I am not working at the moment, so I don't know how service is when you are a "regular." The service is always good, can't complain. If you like black coffee try the americano. Magic johnson sure invested in a solid company. Outlets don't work, so I'm not sure how anybody who wants to be productive on a computer can get anything done. I was told that something along the lines that the outlets get fixed, then stop working again after a short period of time. Is that supposed to be a satisfactory answer? It's Starbucks, get it fixed. It's Starbucks. You get the same drink at nearly every location, so evaluation is based only on the cleanliness, friendliness and speed of the baristas. I also understand that sometimes the 10 minute spins happen at more like 20 minute intervals because you're busy and it's important to keep the customers happy with their drinks, but it's not acceptable, in my book, to have one milk cylinder, empty, sitting on the only station. There's typically three, and maybe a couple are toward the bottom in terms of fullness, but not one, unlabeled, and completely empty. Now, at the time, I'd already been waiting for my drink so long (due to the only barista making drinks spending too much time laughing with the group of older gentleman that clearly come every morning) I didn't have time to wait for more half and half (or milk, or whatever was in that cylinder) so I just put it near the barista and left, so as a result my drink was less than stellar. TL,DR; if you want slow service head on over here. It's your place. read more
