two cups of iced coffee on a table

Came in for a Starbucks fix. Yummy coffee and happy that this place normally have enough seats

August 21st, around 6pm, the girl who was working the drive thru window handed me the yummiest coffee. I ordered a caramel macchiato with sweet cold foam on top. When I drove up, she was very kind and handed me a perfectly drizzled cup! Thank you! It was very yummy and made perfectly!

Came here twice before, the latest was last Wednesday 03/02 around 3pm and I went through the drive thru this time. There was no line. My partners go to drink is Toffee Nut Latte but that drink is discontinued so we found a new drink which we ordered that day which was the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. This is now my partners new drink if we go to Starbucks. Although I am not a coffee drinker, I felt this drink was pretty strong in my opinion.

The service here is consistently excellent. I wanted to try something new and went for the Juniper Latte. I asked the Barista what it tasted like and he described it to me as best he could. It was super helpful in my decision to try it. My take on this particular flavor was slightly different but I can still appreciate that he took the time. I'd say it's a cross between an evergreen scented candle plus pinesol with a pinch of ginger. The after taste seemed to lean on the pinesol spectrum. While hot, it tasted like a Ginger infused latte, but as the drink cooled to a lukewarm temp, the evergreen became more apparent. Not sure I'd order it again but it was an interesting flavor for sure. I think i will stay with the Caramel Brulee with an extra shot of vanilla.

This is like the only store that's open at 7.30PM. Most of the Starbucks are closed by this time.

You will really notice the difference between them and other places. There are a number of tea and other drink options. It tasted exactly like a blueberry waffle. It was a good mild flavor but did not have enough caffeine for me. Because it is in a random spot of Roseville I'm not sure if this is a place I would go out of my way for but if you are near the shop you can get your weekly beans here!

I'll go check it out though, because I door dashed a matcha and it was perfection. I got a strawberry almond milk matcha with an extra shot of matcha and it was delicious. 100% on the sweeter side (not obnoxiously sweet like boba, but they have a sweeter hand) so ask for less sweet if you like a more mild sweetness. The bag they delivered it in was so fancy - a closed branded drink carrier, and the matcha quality was high quality. The strawberry flavor was real, not artificial, and there were little strawberry chunks that I loved. I downed this drink happily! Edit: I came in person and they have a self service kiosk and someone to help if you call for it (such sweet staff). They indeed have no tables to work at - they have 2 seats and a bench to sit at while you wait! Matcha the second time was just as good as the first, oh lord. This time I got the marshmallow brûlée with torched marshmallow and I drank it in 5 minutes it was so Carmamel-y and rich. This time I got it less sweet and, because I have a sweet tooth, I would do regular. I actually don't die for marshmallows but I ate all 3 because they tasted like rich brûlée perfection. Can't wait to come back again (my boyfriend is jealous)

The interior is always well-kept and seasonally decorated but definitely not meant for sitting and chatting as the lobby quickly gets crowded when it's busy. One issue would be their rewards system. After entering your phone number on the screen, it will show you your accumulated loyalty points and the rewards available to redeem once you hit 100 points. I've been stuck at 96 points since Winter/Spring and have already brought it to the employee's attention so that they can inform the manager/owner in case they were not aware. They need to check their pos terminal or contact ChowBus to fix this.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

Wow. Just wow…read more Edwin's Coffee really surprised me. It blew me away, actually. Ambiance. Independence. Skill. Flavor... this place has it all. Edwin is the owner and has been for 30 years. He roasts his own beans, bakes his own pastries, and does it all with no employees. I walked in here not knowing what to expect. I was somewhat overwhelmed by the abundance of variety of Torani syrup flavors on the wall and the lack of a menu to help hone my decision of the most difficult question to answer in any new coffee shop you enter - "what the hell do I want?" Edwin explained he usually converses with customers to zero in on what they would like to drink. He and I briefly chatted, and had zeroed in on a dark chocolate cherry mocha with oat milk. It was incredible. Edwin used the perfect amount of cherry flavoring and dark chocolate. I also had an incredible, homemade, blueberry muffin. It was perfect. Big, juicy blueberries, moist cake housed under a perfectly baked and delicately crisped muffin top. I gotta come back. If not for the amazing pastries, perfect coffee, then for the wonderful conversation. Thanks, Edwin. See you soon!

I'm new to the coffee world, still in my cappuccino-with-vanilla era on this early caffeine journey, so I decided to see what this place was about. Glad I did. The moment you walk in, it's clean, bright, and welcoming. Plenty of spots to sit, relax, or even crack open your laptop and get some things done without feeling rushed. The layout gives off that perfect balance: chill enough to unwind, structured enough to be productive. I retired to the bar and tried to speak to the barista and she looked at me and looked away completely ignoring me as I tried to talk to her and scoffed a bit. I felt a bit awkward standing there .... When the person at the register with whom we had ordered saw this and came over. I explained to them that the drink didn't taste right ... that we had ordered a peanut butter mocha. He looked a bit confused and then said that he thought we had gotten a peanut butter latte... this was a bit confusing as the seasonal drink on the menu that we pointed at was the peanut butter mocha. He did offer to remake them and we took him up on that. The drinks were much better the second time around! The awkwardness with the barista left me feeling uncomfortable.... However i truly appreciated them remaking the drinks and finding a quick solution.
