I used to go to this Starbucks on my way to work, they were pretty efficient and always kept the drive thru line moving the best they could. I appreciate that during the commuting rush in the morning, but I know sometimes problems are inevitable. My last visit was not as great, it's been a while since I've been here and it seems the attitude of the baristas has shifted. Not sure if I visited on a rough day or what, but they weren't really caring of our issue and were actually pretty rude about us approaching them at all. Great service means getting the orders out the door and leaving paying customers satisfied right? Especially for a $7 dollar drink, I think most people could probably agree. Hate to be those people, but we were unhappy with a matcha that seemed too bitter for our liking and different than how it normally comes out. It happens and I tried to suck it up. But it started to feel like a waste of money, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. But yeah it did hurt to ask because after telling the one woman behind the register we were a little unhappy with our purchase and if they could remake it just iced instead, she ignored us, pulled someone that would deal with it for her and treated us like we were giving her a problem. The other woman opened our cup to see 1/5 of the cup gone and said we drank more than half so she wouldn't help us. We explained that we tried to enjoy it out of courtesy to not make a problem for them, but it just didn't feel worth the money. Again, talking about this cup being 4/5 full. She rolled her eyes, told us where the garbage was and made sure we threw out our drink, and put the remade one on the far side of the table. There's a difference between customers who come in just to cause a problem, and customers who are just unhappy and asking for help because money was already spent. I've served tables to people who treat workers like garbage just to do it, and people that just want to enjoy a meal. I get if we came in yelling, cutting the line, making a scene, we'd get the treatment we did. But turns out it doesn't matter if you come into this Starbucks rude or not, they just hate everyone! read more

This store used to be my favorite one, they had friendly staff, fast service, fast DT service, and quality interactions. It has gone downhill fast in the last few years. Do NOT go here if you want fast service. You will sit in their DT line for 10-20 minutes and you can't escape once you're in there. I just sat in the DT line for about 15 minutes for a mobile order. I ordered the same exact thing I order everyday and when the handed it to me I could tell there was no lemonade in the drink. I said it immediately and the blonde girl in the drive thru said "Well, it says there's lemonade on the sticker." Thank you, I ordered it so obviously it says it on the sticker. She then proceeded to take the drink around the corner and put lemonade on top of the drink even though they already cut it with water. Had to go back in and ask for it to be remade properly. What a shitty experience. Go up the street to Paramus they are 100% better. read more

I ordered a hot matcha and it was way too much matcha. That was fine I took two sips of it to see if it would get better. It wasn't so I brought it back in and asked if I could just get an iced matcha instead. They took my cup and they were like this is half full so we can't. I opened the lid and showed them it was more than half full and she reluctantly and rudely made me what I asked for. They are so rude here. They didn't even say hi or anything when we walked in. A few people there are very good and attentive. 1 or 2 at the most. The staff by and large in the morning are slow, more concerned with conversing with one another. If I don't order in advance, I can stand by the register waiting for someone to take my order. No greeting, no we will be with in in a minute. I had to say "excuse me" 2 or 3 times this morning to get someone to acknowledge me. The young woman who attended to me had such a look of disdain. I ordered my Grande Dark Roast Black scanned and she told me to step down to wait. That coffee is usually right behind the cashier and most often they get it themselves. No worries I waited for the young man for about 3 minutes to attend to me. I was handed a cup of Luke warm coffee. I advised and then waited another 5 minutes for them to brew a fresh urn. Miserable experience and I have been here several times. I will use the Dunkin Donuts going forward. read more

Hallelujah!!! Finally a Starbucks that not only knows how to pour the perfect Nitro, but also serves at the the right temperature. You have no idea what it's like to get a nitro that is room temperature or just slightly chilled. It's not the same it needs to pour cold, hence Nitro in the name. My dog & I had a very nice experience with the friendly drive-thru employee. My drink was excellent & my dog loved her puppuccino.

Frustratingly slow! We come to this location because we work from home and it is convenient. The staff are all friendly, but the service is by far the slowest around. After placing our order (and iced tea and an iced coffee), it took 23 minutes before we actually got our drinks. While we waited, we saw people receiving the wrong drinks and orders that were placed in-house were being placed in the drive thru section. Unfortunately this location is never clean. There are flies where they are making the food, and napkins/garbage all over. Really sad. read more

I recently moved to Garfield and this is my go to Starbucks. You NEVER get my order wrong which is a huge plus for anyone trying to have a great start to their day. I sat in the back of the line without moving for a few minutes before realizing that this was not somewhere I wanted to be because I was not moving. By the time I wanted out, there was a couple cars behind me and raised concrete in either side of me, so I could t move: when I finally got to the intercom, literally twenty minutes later, I was told that they would not take my order for at least five minutes because they were slammed. So, I was trapped, unable to move, and they did not take my order for another ten minutes. Then, I sat for another ten minutes waiting for my order. All to find out, they gave me regular milk instead of oat milk, which I drink because I am severely lactose intolerant and not because of the current fad. This location is horrendous. I waited on line for 20 minutes to order three drinks. The menu board only shows a small portion of the menu. I ordered a Mango dragonfruit drink not realizing there were 3 versions. I picked one because the woman was massively rude. I didn't order the other two things I wanted because I didn't see them listed and didn't know if they had them. Got some nasty thing with coconut milk and explained the menu board doesn't show multiple. They did make the correct drink but the whole experience was way more complicated than it should have been. If you have multiple versions of the same drink, list them all. Fix the time management as well because the line moves way too slowly to be servicing a major highway. Go up the road a few miles to Paramus and skip this nightmare. read more

I frequent this starbucks often but usually in the drive- thru. Due to the crowd I decided to order ahead and to pick up in the store twice this week. Both times I stood at the mobile pick up spot for 10 minutes before I was greeted to give my name. The most frustrating moment was when I stood there by myself for 10 minutes and it wasn't until others came in that I was addressed, after everyone else of course. While I appreciate seeing the batistas moving around like worker bees you need to greet and address your customers especially when you make eye contact with them. read more

I have to say that I'm beyond disappointed with the customer service at this particular location. I scheduled a mobile order to pick up via drive-thru. It was only me and another car approaching the drive-thru entrance, which I let go ahead, so they could l place their order. Figured I'm only picking I don't mind waiting. I get to the intercom and wait several minutes and no one acknowledges me, I then pull away and heard the barista greet and say oh because they realized I was already driving up. I get to the window and the barista taking mobile order has her back towards the window glanced over at the monitor and again I'm waiting several minutes prior to being acknowledged. Instead of greeting me and apologizing for not seeing me, even though she clearly knew I was driving up. I'm told that I cannot be served at the window if I need to order I must either drive back around and or go into the store. I then told her I had placed a mobile order for pick up through the drive-thru and I did wait at the intercom for several minutes for assistance and no one greeted me or told me to wait a minute. When she finally did greet me I was already driving up and wasn't going to reverse back in a one day only. She then repeats the same speech how in order to be helped I needed to drive back around or come inside. I pointed out that my order was right there next to her. She then said oh gives me my order which at this point you can tell my drinks had been sitting out for a while and repeats how next time I will not be assisted at the window unless I drive back around or come directly into the store. read more

Every time I order it on mobile app(it's been over 7 times), as I get there expecting my drinks or bakery stuff to be ready (I get there after ten min after ordering it and it's not even around peak time)...nothing's ready to be picked up. They're just standing around or making customers order who just ordered as they walked in...SO I always have to go to the cashier area asking where's my order that I placed on the mobile app, and they ask each other if anyone did it and start making it. I go to other Starbucks and order it on mobile app and never have this problem. I know this place just opened last year? But they really need to work on this issues. Been coming here since the first day or 2 of opening.. Just left there a few minutes ago, ordered a medium green iced tea with 3 stevia & a little ice.. Drive away & noticed it was packed from top to bottom with ice.. Not a big deal but i dont like the tea watered down .. I went back & asked them politely & she said no problem & to pull to the lot & we'll bring it right out... Few seconds later it was being brought by a woman who introduced herself as Michelle and proceeded to shake my hand..
