As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My family and I have tried so many flavors, im trying to think of the ones I love because they all taste amazing! The latest flavor that I love was the peach cobbler - drool- but the cozz coffee flavor, coffee and donuts are meant to be together. Hands down, a must try and if you've already tried... you'll be back multiple times. Cheers to these sisters!!

Food Baby donuts are bringing me out of review writing retirement! I want to make sure to spread…read morethe word so Food Baby can get a storefront and we won't have to wait a week to get some of this heart-shaped yumminess! The week I noticed Food Baby the flavors were all fruit-infused. Grapefruit. Strawberry. Blueberry. Cherry. Peach. Here's what I tried... The Old Fashioned: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, glazed and grapefruit infused. Not too sweet, nothing artificial, smelled amazing. Definitely my favorite. These are like donuts from my childhood. Glad I got two of these to share. So good. The Classic frosted: soft inside and out, liberally covered in all natural frosting (no food dyes here) I picked Strawberry Oat Milk and Blueberry Oat Milk. Yum. The Stuffed Classic: their version of a jelly donut. I got the Strawberry and the jelly inside was rolled into the dough so nothing squirted out as you ate. Delicately covered in sugar. Absolutely delicious and another fave. I did share this box (with non-vegans, and they loved them too!) but I'm excited to order again and have some all to myself. It's probably a good thing (for my pants, ahem) that there isn't a storefront and you do need to think ahead and order online for pickup on Sunday. Watch their Instagram for rotating flavors and events. Pickup was quick, efficient and really friendly. Also, the packaging was just as beautiful as the donuts inside. Too pretty to eat...well, almost :) Enjoy!
