    Nitro coffee with a view

Just came back from coffee at this location and have to say it is becoming one of my favorite locations. It's neat and clean but more importantly the staff is exceptional. They are all helpful but this one lady serving behind the counter is quite a character yelling out names and drinks with such passion and sense of humor it makes it enjoyable to be in her presence. A note that their choice of music is good too!

I frequent the Starbucks because it's close to my home. The service is always great. The drinks are always on point and they never seem to run out of ingredients or items which I does happen frequently at other Starbucks. The service is great and the baristas are friendly. There's always plenty of room to either do work, do homework, or sit down and have a chat with a friend, so I really like this location. The one thing I would love for them to do is to clean the counters and the floor more often because they always seem to be a bit dirty when I come in.

Decent spot to get work done in Mahwah. Pretty quiet with background music and nice interior with lots of seats. I usually come here for black coffee and cake pops. One time I was here and I was asking about both birthday cake and chocolate cake pops. I was clearly indecisive and I just went with the birthday cake pop since I was familiar with it. However, the lady behind the register walked over to my work spot and passed me off a chocolate cake pop. Faith in human kindness restored!! Most recently I've been trying the "special" seasonal cake pops. They're simply vanilla on the inside and decorated nicely on the outside just an FYI!

Good Starbucks location with friendly staff in a convenient location. The parking lot can be tough to handle sometimes because it is so small but there is always plenty of parking pack your patience. Everything you would expect from Starbucks.

I usually always come to this location for my drinks, but I hate the feeling of feeling like I can only order a drink if I'm present to watch them make it. I want to have the satisfaction of knowing that my drink will be done properly and not carelessly. I ordered a Venti Caramel Ribbon Crunch and not only was there no crunch, but I opened the drink to find little black things in it. I have no idea what it is and now I feel weird seeing this AFTER I drank most of it. People shouldn't have to feel paranoid about whether their drink will be done properly if they order online. We should trust the employees to create drinks properly, whether you are there or not.

Find this Starbucks, efficient and organized. I usually order ahead of time through the app and everything is ready when it's expected to be, if not sooner. The few times I pop in everyone is extremely friendly and happy to work with me on any kind of customized beverage. Bonus it is clean, which I don't find all Starbucks are these days.

Beware - This place is serving watered down product. The flavors of both my caramel macchiato and my son's white hot chocolate were extremely lacking - not at all indicative of Starbucks' products. After we took the first sips of our drinks we noticed the watered down flavors and then stirred them up to mix up any syrup that may have been stuck at the bottom of the cup - which made no difference. I was very disappointed.

Pros: An older population (by older, I mean no loud middle or high schoolers) tends to occupy the café when I come here at night, which is great when I'm trying to squeeze in some study time. This location is also HUGE. Lots of seating to choose from. Con: This Starbucks is located in a small strip mall with limited parking, so finding a spot may be a hassle depending on what time you go. Aside from that, this location isn't too different from others I've been to. Like most locations, the café is clean and the staff is nice, especially Chris! If there's any noticeable difference, it's that the barista area is much more spacious than others which allows the staff to work around each other quickly and more efficiently than others.

I love this location! Decent size with good amount of seating. Friendly staff. Today I tried a Hot White Chocolate with a sprinkle of chocolate powder and whipped cream. Yummy!! The parking lot can get quite crowded in this strip mall

Like... blink twice if you're alive. Mission half accomplished. Barista was polite. Efficient. Straight to business. No fluff. Which is fine... except somehow, despite there being no one in front of me, I was standing there long enough to wonder if this is how time works in dog years. Now let's talk pastries. I was torn between a scone and a muffin. The muffin won purely on looks, it was giving "pick me." And I'm glad I got it... even though it was dry. Like, Sahara dry. Like it needed chapstick. Crumbly too. BUT plot twist: I didn't hate it. I wanted scone texture with muffin taste, and somehow the universe delivered both in one baked good. Accidental win. The place itself? Nothing wild, nothing gimmicky. Standard pastry case, good seating, chill vibes. But the real star here is how clean everything was and honestly, that matters. If I'm eating crumbs that explode on impact, I at least want to know they came from a spotless counter. Overall: good coffee, decent pastry redemption arc, minimal personality but solid execution. Not life changing, but I'd come back, just maybe with a glass of water... for the muffin.

You can grab a tray and choose your sweet or savory baked goods, hot or cold sandwiches including egg sandwiches, and coffees and teas. They also sell whole cakes or by the slice. Their sandwiches like the chicken salad are good but not amazing. I have enjoyed their chocolate chip scones, quiche, and apple turnover. They came out a few times to refresh the baked goods which was nice to see, as other ones often run out of items. Their seating also had outlets which encourages people to sit and stay awhile. It's good to get the app because they offer discounts which can pay off. Their rewards program is earn 75 points (each $1) and get a free pastry or drink so it can take awhile to accumulate if you don't go often (though definitely not a cheap place). And the points expire at some point if you don't use them for awhile. Sunday is a good day to go to avoid crowds since the retail stores were closed. Parking is usually a pain on Saturdays. The Plaza also has a tj maxx, shop rite, cvs, old navy, orange theory, dsw, five below, Michael's, deli, etc.

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. I might come back to try something else in the future.
