Not really sure why it took that long, but it was definitely frustrating just standing there. We eventually ordered four cones (ube and matcha)...and giving credit where it's due, the ice cream itself is still very good. It's creamy, flavorful, and consistent with what we had on a previous visit. That said, the portions felt off this time. The cones didn't seem as full, and what really stood out was that each one had a noticeable hollow center -- almost like the middle was missing. Sign. For $9 a cone, that just shouldn't happen. Last time I was here, it felt like a 5-star spot. This visit? Not there at all. Still good ice cream, but between the wait and the portion issues, it didn't live up to the price.

They have pour over coffee, which is a great thing for high end coffee shops to have. I had their Ethiopian coffee bean, prepared perfectly by a gentleman that was passionate about their coffee. The inside of the cafe is filled with traditional Guatemalan and Mayan decor and art, but with modern touches. The employees are super friendly and explained each item and what were the ingredients. I never thought Starbucks would become such a great memory for me and such a happy place to visit. Stopped in after visiting the Apple Store nearby and buying some new toys. My baby is an Apple nerd just like me but she's a gorgeous looking nerd matched by a beautiful soul that loves Jesus as much as I do. Anyhow this location is your typical Starbucks location.
