This is a small coffee shop in Mahwah with a hipster vibe. The shop is nicely decorated and plays nice coffee shop music . The employees are very nice. Drinks/pastries : eh not crazy about the drink I got. I ordered a caramel macchiato and it was very watery & for a small $5. I wouldn't order it again. It wasn't bad enough to order a new drink but not good enough to order again or make me want to visit again. I had a blondie with the coffee and it was very dry. Again not something I would have again. I would be willing to give other things on the menu a shot. While drinking my coffee I noticed a sign saying they have CBD in their products. Honestly everyone has their own opinion on this. Not sure how I feel about their products having it. I do wish they would be more clear about which products do and don't. The sign is clear that it has great benefits but can also cause side effects. Honestly to each their own but I would rather not have it in my coffee or pastries if it is not necessary. Again considering Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks are less than 5 mins away I would probably go there instead but I would be willing to try something else to see if other things are better.

Pay attention, or you may miss this place as a first timer, cool , creative looking place with nice people behind the counter. Ordered the Taylor ham and cheese on half baguette,it was well toasted & melted but a bit dry & skimpy for my taste. Next time, I'll ask for the bread to be buttered and more meat! They do charge extra for each meat when building your own sandwich. They seem supportive of other businesses, which showed in display all over shop. They sell homemade products and display business stickers & adverts from others. There is art for sale from locals and a sticker wall encouraging your uniqueness. Oh yea they have board games!. Chai latte actually pretty good just wish it was stronger ( Chai and espresso shot). In my short time there was clear they have regulars and I can see why. In the end, would visit again

Just was visiting the town and wanted to stop to eat brunch. I saw this place had great reviews so came in! I did assume it was a little bigger with some tables to eat but mostly just a small cafe (it's completely okay though!!!) My chai latte was absolutely delicious and comforting. I ordered their New Yorker and my friend has the Jersey, both sandwiches were so good we devoured them and did not get a single photo. I thought they were big and so flavorful. Might drive back just to stop here again! Service was great and I even bought one of the paintings they had on the wall of local artists! Very cute place!

From the outside I for some reason was not expecting much from this place, but it is fantastic. We had coffee and egg sandwiches on a weekend morning. The coffee was very good, as you might expect from an establishment with "coffee" in the name, but the egg sandwiches were freaking awesome. They have a ton of unusual (and largely very healthy) options for sandwich additions, like sautéed spinach, fresh mozzarella, pesto, even squash. Many bread choices, too. The food is made to order- no dry microwaved sandwiches here- so you have to wait a little bit, but it's well worth it. (For something quicker, the oatmeal looked really tempting, too.) The people who work here are also ridiculously nice. (Like what-kind-of-happy-pills-are-they-on-because-I-want-some kind of nice.) If I lived nearby I would 1000% be a regular.

They came out a few times to refresh the baked goods which was nice to see, as other ones often run out of items. Their seating also had outlets which encourages people to sit and stay awhile. I was torn between a scone and a muffin. The muffin won purely on looks, it was giving "pick me." And I'm glad I got it... even though it was dry. Like, Sahara dry. Like it needed chapstick. Crumbly too. BUT plot twist: I didn't hate it. I wanted scone texture with muffin taste, and somehow the universe delivered both in one baked good. Accidental win. The place itself? Nothing wild, nothing gimmicky. Standard pastry case, good seating, chill vibes. But the real star here is how clean everything was and honestly, that matters. If I'm eating crumbs that explode on impact, I at least want to know they came from a spotless counter. Overall: good coffee, decent pastry redemption arc, minimal personality but solid execution. Not life changing, but I'd come back, just maybe with a glass of water... for the muffin.

Yet the county has a rich history in farming and agriculture from the late 1600s up into the 1970s. The small farms in north Jersey do more than just provide fruits and vegetables for our tables. They are open-air classrooms to our agricultural past, places to buy fresh produce and baked goods to support local family farm stores, and places for interesting special events and outings for families. Being the first Saturday after Labor Day, my partner and I got a head start on the apple cider donuts made fresh daily, just oozing with apple cidery goodness and never hot. Since 1973, located on Airmont Avenue in Mahwah, Secor Farms is a reminder of Bergen County's rural past and one of the last farms left in the area, passed down through three generations. Upon arrival in the afternoon, parking was not an issue with only a handful of vehicles. However, the farm comes alive starting Sept 15 with a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and a petting zoo where reservations are required, with all sorts of activities. Their outside garden centers had pumpkins, gourds, fall decorations, and mums for purchase. We went inside their marketplace full of produce and managed to get a bag of mixed apple cider donuts and a quart of apple cider. These baked donuts have the sweet tartness of apple cider with a coating of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. They were soft, moist, tender, and tastefully delicious. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly. We can recommend this place.

At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok.
