I hope I have the right Starbucks. It's the one in target at North Hills. This has to be the worst Starbucks I always order a caramel frappe and for some reason they don't train their people. I end up with everything, but I just came from there and got a half a cup of whipped cream in my caramel frappe just disgusting. You charge an awful lot of money. I had high hopes when I picked up my extra dry cappuccino and it did not weigh 5 lbs. Either the milk had gone bad or was something other than normal non-fat milk. This Starbucks always seems to be slammed no matter what time of day you head in. The other night I headed in after dinner and they still had a line about six people deep. They are pretty quick though so even if there is a line they work their Starbucks magic to get through it. The interior is usually always full as well so don't always plan on getting a table if you need one. The outside area i nice and I like sitting on the cushioned patio chairs every now and again. Overall what you would expect from your neighborhood Starbucks just a bit busier. At 7:30 on a Tuesday morning & a packed parking lot, I expected a long line. Only three people in line & three baristas working AND utilizing the "what can I get started for you today?" Taylor (at the register) was an absolute sweetheart. So pleasant & finally a Starbucks that regularly uses "can I get a name for your cup?" A quick stop in this afternoon did not disappoint! I wish I could say I was reviewing this location based upon a fabulous cup'a joe, but alas I do not drink coffee! I will say that their customer service is superb though. :) I was greeted and kindly asked what I was looking for today. I asked about smoothies and the gentleman pointed to the menu indicating that I could choose from strawberry, orange mango, or chocolate. Usually I'll go with a safe strawberry, but today I decided to try something new and chose orange mango! Since I'd been running errands and stated I'd not eaten a thing he suggested a pastry, but I guess he could also tell I was trying to be healthy and abstain from those cake pops....so let me go without any pastries and happily put in my order for that smoothie. He asked for my name and I told him, along with spelling it out like I usually do. Well, this young man actually listened and spelled it correctly rather than just scribbling it on the cup.... A few minutes later a nice guy put my orange mango smoothie on the counter. After waiting in a room smelling of coffee so strongly that my sweater stilled smelled like it hours later, I was eager to taste my choice of flavor in the fruit smoothie. Good pick. Glad I popped in, tried something new, and enjoyed their friendly aromas! read more

The Starbucks at the corner of Six Forks Road and Lassiter Mill Road in Raleigh, NC.......knocks it out of the park every time I stop there. It is my morning 'go to' place for a delicious Venti Blonde Latte. All of the employees are great but Zoe is the one that I speak with typically while she's making my order. This is my favorite Starbucks to come to. The people are extremely nice and always fast. I guess I always choose the best times to go because I miss the rush and can get in and out under 5 mins. My favorite drink is the Chai tea latte hot with no water, with soy, and moca drizzle on top. It is delicious and perfect for any weather. I don't explore much of the menu but each cashier always gives me a tip on a drink I should try next. Nothing pumpkin though....I can't stand the stuff! read more

This Starbucks definitely has a more generous seating layout and refined interior than others on the immediate area. What I struggle with is that they consistently run out of the Blonde roast by 7am every morning. Ain't no body got time for that...literally. Seems like a fairly typical Starbucks. The times I've been here, the baristas have been very friendly and outgoing, so that's a plus. Plenty of comfortable seating. The coffee is Starbucks standard, so if this is out of your way, there are better places to patronize. If you just want a break from the madness of North Hills, this is a pleasant stop. read more

I always go to Starbucks and this one often. They were not busy. I was the only one in line. I order latte and before I put my card in I asked for hazelnut to be added. The girl got so frustrated with me. She started make body and hand movements and I said you can charge me. She said it won't ring up. I said I have not put my card in. She said it cost 0.50 I said ok. She said my manager is right there. I went to her manager and she said I'm not I'm off the clock so she didn't want to help the girl or me. As she was speaking with the other manager who was on duty and did not speak up to help.It was awful. I got my drink and it still did not have hazelnut and went back and asked for it. I paid for protein box and a coffee for almost $10 I would have paid the darn 0.50 to get what I want. read more

I asked for a grande specialty cold drink with no ice and ice on the side about a month ago. I was quite amazed to get my drink and see my drink half filled, Literally! Not 3/4 full, but literally 1/2 full! Out of the billion Starbucks I go to on a daily basis I've never seen this before. I wanted to give a two star review but today I'll be a little nice. Not too many smiles at this Starbucks especially considering the area of Raleigh they're in. Most of the Starbucks I frequent are very vivacious, perky and super cheerful with a lively greet. Lastly, today I go and I asked for the same speciality drink with no ice at all, but lo' and behold my drink had ice in it. Mind you they weren't busy at all and only one person behind me. I feel that sometimes the employees at this Starbucks feel as if they own the Starbucks themselves. It's not your Job to think for me, if I ask for ice on the side, still fill up my drink! If I continue to have these issues I'll go next door to Panera or will no longer return to this particular Starbucks! read more

It's always tough to go into any establishment twenty minutes before close and know what to expect... And I was almost disappointed here. However, a super awesome barista saved the day! We ordered our drinks and the barista ringing us out was half listening and half focused on closing tasks (I get it, I've worked so many closing shifts I feel your pain... But at the end of the day, if you're open until a certain time you need to be functionally open until you actually close. Then you can lock the doors, mop, do whatever you need to and leave) so one of our party's drinks was not made. We inquired and the super sweet barista saved the day. She not only made the drink quickly, she was friendly about it and even joked around with us. She was genuinely apologetic versus the 'I'm done for the day' less than helpful barista who rang us out. I'm not asking for Pom poms all day long, but when you work with the general public (as I do every single day) you do have to show up mentally (although I do like to give benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad day, in which case I hope today is better for her). Drinks were well made, as I expect from Starbucks. We sat outside to enjoy each other's company after the location had closed and it was nice, although I'm not sure who actually owns responsibility for cleaning in that area as it was messy (Panera, Starbucks, the shopping center?). Parking here during the day is awful. If you don't get lucky and see someone pulling out, good luck getting a "quick" cup of coffee. If I'm rushed during the day, this is not my go to because if I can't get it done in 15 minutes in between work then I wasted the entire trip. But definitely a staple in North Hills and a nice option to have if you're not rushed for time. read more

Excellent staff, with great barista skills and personalities. If you do a good job hiring people, you hire good people, simple as that. Place appears to be kept clean, especially behind the counter when I've peeked. Regular drinks are well prepared, extra care given to 'for-here' drinks, and last but not least, this location is one of two spots at the time of this review, few spots that sports a Clover Brewing Machine(the other is the 609 Peace St store). What is a clover machine you ask? Simply a really cool brewing system that uses a vacuum system to pull the precisely heated hot brewing water through the coffee. Makes one of the richest and fullest flavored cups of coffee I've ever had. Take the time to order one to have while you sit outside. If its cold outside, there is a fireplace that you can sit next to, indoors or outdoors. Novel concept. This is one of Starbuck's 'Reserve Coffee' stores, so they carry small quantities of hard to find beans. They'll grind up some for you to try through the Clover machine. No, I'm not an employee, just an occasional customer (whose occupation is as a telecom engineer). This is one of my favorite stores in the Triangle. read more

This is the best Starbucks in the Triangle, maybe in the State! I'm a regular so am very friendly with all the staff but I observe that they give outstanding service to each and every customer. The staff work well as a team, swiftly and courteously always. The beverages are made exactly as requested and if any drink or food does not satisfy, the staff go out of their want to see that the customer's expectations are met. In cool weather there is a lovely and toasty fireplace and in warmer times a wonderful covered patio area with plenty of furniture. This is my second home in all seasons! read more

This star bucks in the plaza part near panera bread. I was standing in line waiting to order and when I noticed that the guy making the coffee was rude to the lady in front of me. I didn't take much notice to it because I was at the tail end of their conversation and it was non of my business but when I got up there to order he rudely and quickly told me I was in the wrong line. Also, while I was waiting the cashier never once asked me did I need any help and I looked at her several times. I guess she was too busy with her smart phone to help me. So after I purchased the coffee and then waited for it the guy rudely and quickly put it on the counter and never thanked or apologized for his behavior. I'm not sure what got him upset with everyone before us but if you need to act like that you need to just go home. I think star bucks is TOO big and didn't really care about a few customers getting bad service since they are on every corner. read more
