The worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The service was really bad. The lady never smiled and handed me the drink without saying anything. All three employees were cold faced and it made me thinking if I was in a Starbucks. The floor was dirty, plastic packages and straw covers behind the counter. All three of them walking on them and seemed didn't care. On the Starbucks cup says "That first sip feeling", I would say the feeling was kind of...mixed. Not coming back again. read more

I've been through this location multiple times at all different days of the week and times - from 6:15 am to early evening and even on Christmas day. They're always ready to go and I haven't had to wait long. I typically order ahead on the app and go in for pickup, avoiding what can be a long drive thru line. They seem to hold onto the seasonal cups longer than other locations if that's what you're hunting for. read more

This is a relatively small Starbucks. One that I frequent often. They do have a pretty good turn around of employees but it's consistently been a good Starbucks to go to. They have five tables and two moderately comfortable chairs. It's a great place to go and grab coffee if you're heading to the Columbus Zoo nearby. The cafe and restroom always seem to be pretty tidy. The service is quick, unless you are 7 cars deep in the drive thru. In that case I would suggest you just go in. read more

Note: this was a few weeks ago, I complained to corporate that night. Apparently in my rage typing I never hit publish. Yeah, so this Starbucks does an ok job usually. They have a lot of turnover so you never know what you are getting. However, tonight I placed an order and went to pick it up. It was still 20 minutes before closing according to both the Starbucks app and the hours posted on the door. They wouldn't answer the drive thru, the front door was locked and despite my banging on it they just walked by like they didn't see me (I 100% know yall saw me, especially the one who ducked behind the counter......when you saw me.) I called, there was no answer. I ordered this on the app so I wouldn't be so angry if I hadn't already paid and added a tip. I could see my goddamn food there on the counter. Like you can't hand me the food you had already made and I had already paid for? So I'm sorry. I'm sorry staying open for your posted hours and giving people what they paid for is so hard. I'll tell you what: I won't go back. And I'm complaining to corporate. So yall can suck on that and go back to ducking behind the register like you are 5 year olds. read more

I can only surmise it's a training location. It was slammed, and looney tunes in terms of service. Staff was obviously fried and not having a good time. I suggest avoiding them during morning rush. Ugly experience. read more

This Starbucks is very much a hit or miss. The quality of drinks is never consistent. One huge downside is the drive they line. There are two way to enter the line, one is through the plaza (this is the best way) off the w Powell rd and the other way is from Sawmill Parkway where you have to go from the street. One time early in the morning I drove to the drive thru using sawmill parkway and let one car from the plaza entrance go through. After that it was my turn but the crazy Karen with kids in her car decided not to let me through. Also hit my car in the process. It was absolutely insane to exhibit that type of behavior in front of children but instead of escalating it myself I decided to just drive away. Clearly I wasn't meant to have Starbucks that day. Starbuck's had advertised their new flavor, Hot Apple Crisp Macchiato. Enticing to try the new fall flavor on a pretty cold morning, I visited this location. Very disappointing. I learned that their in-store was closed. A sign posted states "Drive Thru Only". Their front door has been moved. Looks like they have been doing some remodeling inside. I have not been a fan of drive thru's. My experience today reinforced how I feel about drive-thru's. This Starbuck's location is often busy, especially their drive thru. I persisted, however, since it had been a long while since I'd been to this location. I went through the drive thru order line. When placing my order, I asked for a grande Hot Apple Crisp Macchiato and a bacon, Gouda and egg breakfast sandwich. Got up to the window and paid for my order. Asking about the drive-thru, I was advised that it is drive-thru only on weekdays. The in-store is suppose to be open on the weekends. (They also are not open for mobile orders.) I didn't, however, get a response to whether it was always going to work this way or just temporary. As I drove off, I sipped on my coffee drink. Bleh!! Tasted like burnt coffee!! I was headed to a morning appointment and didn't have time to go back. I did check the label on my drink. It was labeled as a grande Pike Place, 1/2 cream and 3 Splenda. No wonder it tasted horrible. Not sure whether I had someone else's drink or the order was completely screwed up. I did get the breakfast sandwich I ordered. It was slightly warm, but okay. I grumbled on my way to my appointment about how inconvenient drive thru's are, how orders often are wrong and gripping about how it makes even more inconvenient when there is an issue. Often times, I would simply not take the extra steps and go back to get the mistake corrected. I did this time, after my appointment. I drove to the location only to see that their drive-thru line was twelve cars deep. So, detoured to get my car filled up and returned ... now eight cars deep. Their drive-thru does a steady business. I kept wondering if someone else maybe received my Hot Apple Crisp Macchiato and I had their Splenda enriched Pike's Place coffee? Chuckled about their tastes buds being in for a shock, too. Went through the drive-thru line, again. Told the person who was taking the orders about the problem who said they would give me another. Upon reaching the window, the person there said "$5.45" to which I stated that I wasn't paying because they screwed up my order earlier. I handed him the incorrect drink from earlier. After talking with someone inside, he gave me my corrected drink, apologized for the mix-up and graciously gave me a card for a free coffee next trip. I appreciate their gesture, but wonder how often orders get mixed up. As for that long-awaited Hot Apple Crisp Macchiato ... it tasted like a Carmel Macchiato. While I would have expected some carmel taste, the drink didn't have any hint of apples, brown sugar or spices. Maybe this drink was not made correctly, (since it is new), but it definitely fails to live up to its advertised description. Highly doubtful I will order the drink again. All the way around, these visits today were majorly disappointing. read more

No inside space and horrendously long lines. I only go here when I have no other options. They told me a long time ago that this is a "high producing" Starbucks...which is probably true. That said, I wish they'd open one farther up sawmill. read more

I used to love this place. I don't know if it's the mobile order or constant employee turnover but the service is so incredibly slow. It shouldn't take fifteen minutes to get an americano, it just shouldn't. And don't get started in the drive through. Brutal. I drove through this morning to get an espresso. Long line in the drive thru, but there always is no big deal. However...the last 2 trips have not been could at all. 10 cars ahead of of me took 25 minutes.. When I pulled up to the window, no acknowledgment, 1 girl making drinks, 1 at the drive thru window no customers inside, yet 2 people breaking down card board boxes and organizing shelves... could they not jump in to help?? When I pulled up to the window she was putting bake goods in the oven, stacking cups, 4 minutes later she gave me my drink and said here is your change.. The service was well below par, no eye contact, or acknowledgment of the long wait.. disappointing to say the least. My next espresso trip will be to a non chain..where they actually care read more

This location is the slowest and the quality of the espresso drinks are the most inconsistent of any Starbucks I have been to. My husband waited 20 minutes in the drive through this morning just to get a flat white and an almond milk latte that were basically undrinkable. Also, whether it is a corporate owned store or not, they obviously do not put any money into maintaining it or upgrading it. There is always a machine that is broken down whether it is the roasted coffee brewer or one of the ovens. This was the case this morning, they had only one operating oven and it made the wait time even longer than it normally is. The only positive thing I can say about this store is that some of the employees actually try to get to know you if you are a repeat customer. Most are friendly at this store. Super slow service. Took 20 mins to get one drink. Staff seemed disorganized and confused.

The drive thru is usually slow-- but today was extremely slow as I was in it for 18 minutes before I got to the window. I pay, he hands me my two drinks and apologized for the wait and thanks me for my patience. I get all the way home and take a sip and it's not even my drink. I ordered a vanilla latte and got an apple spice latte. I call the store and they said they'll remake it so I drove all the way back down there. Get my remake and expect them to refund my order given the giant inconvenience. The girl says "just a remake" and then rushed off to make another drink. I think for the extremely long wait time and making the wrong order, having me drive all the way back, the least they could do is refund my $4.55 coffee. Good lord. read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. I got in line for the drive thru well before closing. One employee came out closer to closing and looked at the line but didn't say anything to the cars. As I pulled up to order (after waiting patiently for 15+ minutes) there was no one on the other side. A different employee then came out and put a cone right in front of me to indicate that they were closed but did not acknowledge me or the 3 cars behind me who had also arrived before close. When I called the store (while still at the order window), no one answered. After waiting for minutes for a simple confirmation that they were closed, I received none and left. This was the most unprofessional and rude experience I have had and Starbucks should be absolutely ashamed. This store needs to be closed or at least staffed with competent employees. read more

The line was super long, and drinks were poor quality. I got a pumpkin spice latte and an americano, both of which were lacking enough coffee and had almost no sweetener. I am a frequent customer of starbucks and I usually go to the one in dublin because it's closer to home. However I do find myself going to this starbucks here and there if I'm in the powell area, and let me just say this is the WORST STARBUCKS EVER hands down. I always order my drinks on the app and every single time I get there it's either never ready (it takes about 15-20 minutes to get there from my house how is it not done yet???) or they have "no trace of my order". I have probably wasted about 100 dollars on coffee there and half of that has gone down the drain because they never get my order done on time and I have to leave or else I'll be late to work. Like come on people, this is ridiculous. These problems happen a lot for me at this location, but the real last straw for me was on an extremely busy day. I ordered me and my mom a drink through the app to surprise her, but like usual, when I got there it wasn't ready. I waited 10 minutes before asking the lady working and she said she was sorry and that she would work on my drink right away and so I said no worries and expected to wait maybe 5 more minutes. HOWEVER, my 5 minute estimate was not an accurate guess, because I waited for probably 25 more minutes before asking the same lady again. She replied with "What's your name? What drink did you order?" Even though 25 minutes ago she had claimed that she would get started on my drink pronto. My drink was still not being made and I watched them give out coffees to people who ordered their drinks long after me. I was in no rush whatsoever, but waiting an hour for two cups of coffee?? Come on. After waiting 5 more minutes I told the lady to just cancel my order. No apologies or anything, she barely even acknowledged me. Of course I still wanted coffee and so I just went to my normal starbucks location and got my drinks in 5 MINUTES if not less even though they were just as busy. I highly recommend not going to this location, the place needs to find employees who actually know how to do their job and can handle customers. Worst starbucks ever. read more

Painful. Slow- ever so slow. They seem constantly confused by things (I paid twice for a chocolate milk because I mobile ordered it with my coffee and the clueless barista insisted I hadn't ordered and paid for it...so when I paid the SECOND time I insisted she look at my mobile order receipt to see that I had indeed paid the 1.95 for FIRST time as well. Zero apology, zero refund, zero anything. She stood there with a clueless, confused look on her face and I had to ask for her to get me the chocolate milk!). This place used to be half decent but anymore it just feels like 2 people are doing any of the work and there is zero hustle to their game (plan on waiting 10+ min for any mobile order- even just one drink). The most inefficient drive though line I have ever been in. Stayed behind 7 cars for 5 minutes and it didn't move an inch. Stayed just to see how long I would actually be there and it was 17 more minutes!!! This is not the first time this has happened either. I don't know if it was me, but I found the Monday and Wednesday cashiers to be so unfriendly and so on welcoming. The shift on Tuesday was very nice and pleasant. The two young ladies behind the counter on Tuesday knew I was standing there, I was there for quite a while. And when they took my order, it felt like I was doing them a favor. Such an inconvenience. Took 15 minutes to get a coffee... wasn't that busy. Quality was what you would expect from Starbucks. The drive thru was equally was packed as the inside. The drive thru has a terrible set up and I imagine the wait would have been longer if I went that route. read more

I love this location! The only bad thing about it is the drive thru line is always super duper long and you may end up waiting for 10-15 minutes before you get up to the window. Kay and Steph are amazing and are always so nice when they see me! (It's gotten to the point where we're all on a first name basis, but maybe I just go there too often haha). I counted eight and then nine people working behind the counter and I stood in line for almost five minutes behind someone who ended up being another employee who migrated behind the counter as well after paying for his purchase and it still took me 5 minutes after placing my order to get a cold brew coffee over ice, black. To the manager and likely owner, time for your staff to understand the customer service model. I finally had to ask if anyone was getting my order because it appeared to be Social Hour for the employees as I waited. read more

This Starbucks has been extremely slow every time I've come. I only order one drink two at most and it takes about 10 minutes just to make those plus the one or two cars in front of me. If you are looking for a quick efficient place to stop and get coffee it is not here. Don't get me wrong the drinks are great it's just the wait is awful and inefficient. read more

This place is pretty good except it took a little long for them to get our drinks (there was no one in the line). I had to stop them from putting whipped cream on my drink when I was looking through the window, and they put too much chocolate on the "drizzle" but other than that it was good. read more
